The title of the song has a story. The song is come from their concept album Queen of the murder scene. They struggle to compose it . They wanted to give up several times but their father encouraged them not to . 2 songs of the album are attemps tocompose it. The one and the sacrifice
One of my favorite aspects of this band is that it’s a three-piece. You can hear all three instruments so clearly and like you said Ale’s bass is so impactful throughout the whole song and so many of their songs. Like others here have said it’s a great song that has such a great groove and I just love that breakdown at the end.

"Not that heavy of a song"??? It's rock, not death metal. LOL. This song has been in my top 10 TW songs since I first heard it. It gives me a Queensryche vibe, especially the beat.
As far as her playing the Gipson Explorer, the song before this song was Queen of the Murder Scene. Which has a very dark heavy theme. The Explorer has such a beautiful tone for these darker songs. So I assume that’s why she used it for both songs from that album played back to back
One official music video I highly recommend is XXI Century Blood from their first album.
They are going to be at Wacken this summer.

UGH has been a constant listen for me; since discovering The Villarreal sisters music over 5 years ago
Teatro Metropolitan CDMX seats 3165. The show was sold out.
Twice, I believe the second night was added after they saw how fast the first date sold out. There is a moment in the video From Teatro Metropolitan where Dany thanks the crowd for showing up on a Monday.
Still my favorite song.
If you wanna watch a music video by this band I would recommend XXI Century Blood. The video won some awards.
This song is the one song that TW had the most problem writing and two other songs came out of trying to fix this song on the Queen of the Murder Scene album. Great song here and nice reaction.
Old af they are tiny , and the song is ok at best , they don’t even like the song anymore that’s why they have not played it in years ! Automatic sun is the best video and the best song they have done

FYI their music videos are seldom just them playing. Story lines and the like (ie: XXI Blood) are more than just music playing. They are a good watch.

Im sure that someone was thinking of Queen of the Murder Scene for being heavy and using the Explorer. It is heavy.
"Heavy," is relative. lol. Some folks feel The Warning is metal, but I don't think they are. I just think The Warning is unpigeon-holed rock. I'm trying to coin the word, "Warning Rock." 😂

Love it. I listen to heavy heavy music and they aren't that. Honestly one of very few bands I would listen to that is a bit lighter. I'm still obsessed with them though.
They def are not metal. Do they have some songs that border on alternative metal, yes. But no, they are def a hard rock band, but of the highest caliber. On the same level as Godsmack for instance.
She keeps this Gibson Explorer for all the drop D tuning songs, not necessarily all 'harder' songs.

It took a while for Ale to grow on me. But like all great bass players, she's only noticed if there's a problem. Ergo, she's never noticeable. But damn, she can play.

The best road I ever witnessed was the West Coast highway 101+ 1 From Port Angeles Washington To Santa Barbara Calif. Ale has perfect pitch and timing . . During rehersals and some shows if theres no clik track or it stops . . Ale is the one that keeps the time . The others follow her . . Both Dany and Pau say its scary how accurate she is and also the look she gives them . . As if to say . . Wtf are you doing . . Get it together . . 🤣

@@ThunderRooster i watch for band communication . . How they "talk" to each other on stage . . Eyes . Expressions . Gestures . . When i was working with bands (lights) observing what is happning and what they need . . . I did the same in my motorsport days . Before coms it was hand movements and gestures that needed to be watched for . . Tricky when they whizz past at 140mph

@TRooster - You love the bass!?! You like many of us are in love Alejandra and her amazing skills! I just want to invite you to listen to another female bassist that loves Ale's bass lines. Her name is Daisy Pepper from the UK.
She has an extensive The Warning Alejandra catalog. What she does is isolate Ale's bass composition with the band in the background, and allows you to really appreciate Ale's playing. Daisy is very accomplished, so she showcases what Ale does...as if Ale herself did a tutorial...which Ale has done on occasion, but not to this extent. Ms Pepper has at least 14 or so The Warning songs on her YT channel. Enjoy! #DaisyPepper #APDVillaReality

This song is from the Queen of the Murder Scene album. IMO the bass parts on the entire album were great. And even more impressive were played by 12 year old Ale
They are playing Wacken this summer. This performance is from the second of two sold out shows of at the Teatro Metropolitan in Mexico City ( August 2022). It has a seating capacity of 3,200 or so.

It has been a year since you last reacted to Band-Maid, you should checkout Band-Maid’s new live video of their song “Hate?” live video from the final concert of their 10th year anniversary tour. Band-Maid is hosting The Warning in Japan June 12th.
She does 2 in a row with the Explorer in a drop D tuning so yeah somewhat heavier but not QOTMS heavier!!! 🤘🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥
