Just got one of these yesterday. It only has 19000 miles on it. I leased a Jetta a few years ago then leased a Malibu. The Malibu was nice but I really missed the interior and feel of VW. The heated seats, turn signal indicators on the mirrors and just the way it drives and the feel of the steering wheel. By the way, the radio sounds great. I only had it on half volume and it was quite loud. Love the touchscreen too. I plan on keeping this for a long time. Nice in depth review.
The 2012 Passat thru the 2018 year it just looks like a Jetta. But longer and wider. I refer to it as an overgrown Jetta. Yes they have a smooth ride and hardly any noise. The longer wheelbase in the Passat and the size 17 tires are perfect 👍
I like how VW kept the passat simple likes its always been, also the base models might be a little lacking compared to say an Accord LX but they're also 20 grand and still pack a nice amount of features! Now they just need to bring the wagon back.

Well mine is very reliable and a little too reliable which means my extended warranty is a waste of money. But you may fall asleep behind one because they are so boring to drive! lol
@@bryanramey2438idk what’s wrong with mine I think I stoped some limiter . My acceleration is crazy and loud and I can go up to 140 . It’s old af probably gonna blow up but god it’s fun until then

Yes!! I would love to see a wagon version of this. These are really nice! I was definitely impressed.
I do too, but this 2.5 actually had a really nice amount of power. It didn't feel sluggish at all.

i don't know if it is the AGC of the audio recorder but there seems to be a lot of road noise at least over coarse surfaces

I miss the 2.0T TSI engine they use to offer in these. I just think the 2.5 would be a little underpowered and the V6 is almost $30,000.
