You should analyze the Liberty game. Many missed layups and own rebounds. I counted 3. Make a case for Harrison 30 minutes, Cardozo 30 minutes, Reese 20 minutes. Reese 29% shooting, 1 assist, 1 blocked shot. Maybe just a bad game. Would like to see a professional analysis of the game.
I noticed a story from an LA News station this morning--they listed five games and were claiming that in every game players were setting records. It all seemed manufactured and silly.

i was watching the sky vs liberty game... and man the whole reason the sky plays feels like its to help reese get her double double. 4 minutes left into the 4th quarter reese had 6 rebounds. she got 1 legit rebound and 3 egregious offensive rebounds. 2 out of her own misses right under the basket and one after harisson with 1.5 minute left throws a weird airball directly to reeses hands, she then turned it over but she had her double double! then she got benched for the remaining time.
We the people know. We will remember if Reece gets ROTY over CC. Reece will always be remembered as the DEI winner. And In a mostly black league. This new world just can't be normal anymore.

If her team could rebound, her run the floor Showtime Magic Lakers style, whether she shoots or passes, would theoretically at least, lead to more possessions per game, which in addition to the sheer number of assists per game she is racking up of late, easily offset her TOV’s. Let’s take a recent low number, 10 assists minus 5 TOV’s = net 5 assists, more than most guards pure assists per game numbers, now add the seven seconds or less style of play, and add the number of extra possessions, and you now have an advanced stat that I just made up, but is real, and a more effective measurement to add to the rest of her game, including the eye test. ☑️👌😎 JP
Ha! Absolutely! I touched on the more possessions somewhere when I was saying CC needs at least 18-22 shots per game. I said it wouldn't really take away any shots from others because they need to run more, which means more possessions (and no more of those ridiculous shot clock violations). Question: What is up with the rampant traveling in the WNBA? The first fever game I watched earlier this year it was almost unwatchable. Run and travel, miss the shot rinse and repeat. CC still managed to light it up but was hamstrung by her coach all game till the 4th quarter when she broke loose. That kept me watching. But the traveling still is unbearable. If you watch highlights half of them are traveling to the lay up. Do they give women 3 step more? Seriously it is driving me nuts. Grade school kids don't travel that much and they don't get paid to play.
Angel is a hustle work hard player and every team needs one. But hustle players do whatever they can to make up for their lack of talent in areas of Angel's game! Question: What is up with the rampant traveling in the WNBA? The first fever game I watched earlier this year it was almost unwatchable. Run and travel, miss the shot rinse and repeat. CC still managed to light it up but was hamstrung by her coach all game till the 4th quarter when she broke loose. That kept me watching. But the traveling still is unbearable. If you watch highlights half of them are traveling to the lay up. Do they give women 3 step more? Seriously it is driving me nuts. Grade school kids don't travel that much and they don't get paid to play.

Angel is a hustle work hard player and every team needs one. But hustle players do whatever they can to make up for their lack of talent in areas of Angel's game! She needs to keep working and playing hard to help her team, for her it's also to stay relevant. This is why ESPN always say Angel plays so hard and she has this double double streaks still going! Because that's all she has but I do think she will get better but Clark is just on another level but for some reason they think WNBA's new fans will stick around if they give the ROTY to Reese. Which I think Clark fans will have seen enough if that happens!

The people who vote for Rookie of the Year are a group of 60 sportswriters (media). Pretty sure their other friends in the media have blown this ROTY race out of proportion, hyping Reese, in order to try and lessen the backlash for when they actually vote Angel Reese as ROTY. It has become to big a story with too many pundits doing statistical gymnastics in order to justify their blatant bias, all at the same time. This story is already written and they are just trying to figure out how to minimize the blowback.
I don't know.....there are people who have already put a good deal of money down and Clark is so far ahead...there would be a lot of people not happy with losing money based on media BS. There's no comparison except they're both clutch and game. Boston is lacking fundamentals similar to Reese. They got by with size and athleticism and it's more obvious now that gap has narrowed playing with and versus pros. I hope they all team up to bust up the haters in the All-Star game.
Rickea Jackson is better than Reese..by far. She just goes about business like Clark and doesn't say anything. She's a great SG.....but because she's not a self promoter you don't hear much about her......I wish Indiana would trade Mitchell, Smith and Wheeler as a package deal for just her.

Finally recovering a blocked shot is not a rebound like she was credited with in the Minnesota game. How many others has she been given under the radar?
