- Join me as I dive deep into the Melbourne Cup, waking up in the wee hours of the morning here in the UK to bet and trade on a race happening 10,000 miles away in Australia.
Ever wondered why? Every market is an opportunity, and once I cracked the UK racing scene, it was only natural to expand my horizons to global races. The Melbourne Cup is not just any race; it turns over massive amounts in betting, making it a hotspot for traders like me. Despite being so far away, I've become one of the largest bettors on this race, both from a UK and Australian perspective.
Curious about my strategies? I don't merely bet on race outcomes. Instead, I focus on price movements, seeking out biases, both behavioural and market-driven. I scout for stories around particular horses, weather conditions, track types, and more, while largely ignoring pundit opinions. It's all about predicting where the money will flow. I also delve into 'trading order flow', analysing where money is entering the market and how it affects prices.
Whether you're an enthusiast or a fellow trader, join me as I share my trading tactics, strategies, and insights. If you're aiming to master the art of betting exchange markets, this might just be the video for you. Remember, whether it's the UK, France, US, or Australia, big races mean big opportunities. Let's explore them together!"

For the record, I made £950 from the 2023 Melbourne Cup.
Breeders Cup this weekend as well. These can also pose as a good opportunity!
Y, I should have mention that. It does appear in the video.
Nice one, Pete 👍
Thanks 👍
Hello, I recently came across bet angel and downloaded the software and tried to watch the videos but I find it difficult to understand your videos,I feel you explain like you are explaining to someone who is already a pro. Can you please help me?I have been doing shop betting and online betting for a year but I find it difficult to understand you
Thank you so much for your feedback. I truly appreciate your honesty and I apologise if my explanations have been a bit too technical. I'll work on breaking things down into simpler terms and provide more context in my future videos. You may want to visit the forum or academy where you can learn more.
How'd you go? Did you lay the fav?
I managed to get £950 in total this year - twitter.com/betangel/status/1721755030204633427
Can we join your service
We don’t offer a service as such, we provide software that allows you to do the same thing, with practice.
Something tells me you aren't actually in the UK getting up in the middle of the night when you trade this meeting.... 9:40 - The daylight and weather in the UK for the middle of night doesn't quite seem right 🤣 Going off previous posts and videos I'd say it looks awfully like the west coast of the USA
Generally speaking, for a number of reasons, for most of my career I’ve had to trade this in the middle of the night.
Even outside of this week I’ll get up to trade Aussie racing.
But every now and again I get the chance to shift locations. Which is what I did when I recorded that little snippet at the end.
So someone in retirement age who claims to be ridiculously successful in the financial and betting markets for decades is getting up at 3:30 in the morning to vlog about betting on one horse race. Doesn't quite add up.
If you are ever successful you will understand why. But it looks like you are still getting ready for that moment.
@@betangeltv Spending years rehashing the same old videos and tweets to advertise your subscription software doesn't come across as "successful".
@@betangeltv Nice restraint Peter.
Jealously comes in all forms, doesn't it? But where you are completely wrong here is that I've been hugely successful at betting. If you don't believe me then have a bet with me. Are you prepared to put your money where your mouth is?
@@betangeltv Ok, so back to my original point...Why is someone in retirement age who is amazing at financial and betting markets ruining their health and social life by waking up at 3:30am to bet on horses? Why are they constantly making videos on the same topics? Why are they seemingly always on the computer tweeting about their betting? Why the constant need to push a subscription software? You don't even seem to have answers other than calling those who question you as jealous haters.
Sure I accept your betting challenge for whatever it's worth.
