This is Tegen Robert's game from Deal or No Deal, first broadcast back in 22 September 2011. All rights belong to Channel 4 and Cheetah Television West.
Tegen is probably one of the most courageous girls, diagnosed with lymphoma at such a young age. It's tough to bear that sort of news when you're diagnosed with something so harsh, but her courage certainly does not falter. Congrats to her, and God bless her!
@@mariesahota1478 Thank you for sharing that with us in your response, Marie. I'm very happy to hear that your niece recovered, and may she continue to be happy, healthy and blessed
I come back every few years to watch this incredible performance by one of the most humble and courageous young ladies I have ever seen. I dont cry for many things in life.... but this gets me every time. Please dont ever take this video down.
🎉again Thku thku thku how I love this show.last time I saw it was so long ago.had to get rid of tv and a dear friend, many years later, have me this phone. I'm finding so many old shows that have been taken off our South African tv years ago. Thks for the memories
One of the most emotional insane underdog stores i ever heard in a game show and for her to end up winning the big one definitely had me in tears CONGRATS SIS!!!!
she's such a sweetheart, really happy for her. quarter of a million is a great gift, but most importantly, she's cancer-free - that's a gift money can't buy. may God bless her further
It's the most American thing ever that the diverse group of people with boxes got changed to a stage of super models. 😂😂😂 this version is so much more wholesome! ❤❤❤❤
1000% agree the host is outstanding and everyone supports each other like family and so much emotional with their life stories I cry for every single story that hit the big one
I used to see this while in UK in the early 2000s. Lucky you even have a US and Egyptian version. We in India don't ! And can anyone beat Noel Edmonds in presentation ?
Well man I'd take that over the shitty new version of this show we have in France rn. He takes 1h30 mins to open 24 boxes, last monday's episode was "special" it lasted 5h and in the end the guy only won 1.5k quids.
I just love this program..Ussually my favourite player is the banker and i hope they will have the worst possible game..But for this game i am on Tegens side :D I just love the mistery revolving the banker.. Like an unseen evil villain :D
77k offer at the end with 250k left. Hahaha, omg. It's unbelievable. Even when she has the safety net left. No clear-minded person takes that stupid offer.
How does the contestant know what amount of money is inside the box even though they're looking behind it? Is there like a camera facing the box and the contestant looks on the screen maybe because the camera video transmits to the screen? I have no idea...
Wow, I've watched a few episodes of the American version of this show, and just wanted to see how the UK version is - could it be any more different?! This has a borderline sad atmosphere, and is so calm and slow. The American version is so high energy, loud and crazy. I normally prefer calmer versions of most shows, but maybe the US version of this show is a bit more watchable than this one. I don't really need all the sob stories and crying, and I don't really get all the friends/family holding the boxes there.
They're not friends/family really, they are future contestants. Each day a new person from the box-holders was chosen to play and that person was replaced with someone else. So everyone on there on stage has been there for about 26 episodes and will get their turn.
The people in the wings are all the future contestants, which helps create a real family atmosphere as by the time you get your go the others have got to know you very well. Maybe seems a bit slow but it was always such a great show and Noel created a real family environment.
This one is more profitable because they don't have to payoff fancy models and a giant set and the banker is actually smart in offering a number much lower than the avarage of the 2 boxes
I do hope you're joking. ¥5,000,000 is a little more than £34,300. Nowhere near the £250,000 the UK version offered, or the $1,000,000 the US version offered.
@@spncrbriggs At today's exchange rate, it's ¥129 in the pound. That makes the ¥5,000,000 equivalent to £38,785. I haven't missed anything. What you've pointed out is a decimal point. For comparison (at today's exchange rates): £250,000 = ¥32,221,600 $1,000,000 = ¥105,737,000
It was an easy option....Tegan stood to lose 57k if the box was 20K....or win an extra 173K.....over 3times as much...on an even chance call. That was a maths obvious good risk.
I keep thinking that every once in a while they let someone win on purpose to keep it interesting. I keep thinking that Tegen knew she had 250.000. I really really hope Im wrong.
THIS IS ALL OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST REWARDS. THANK YOU HEAVENLY FATHER FOR HEALING HER AND BLESSING YOUR DAUGHTER. GLORY TO GOD. IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST AMEN. GOOD CREATED GOOD AND LOVE. PRAISE THE LORD.

My niece had IT AT 27...SHE recovered...stay POSITIVE
Yeah she is and I agree, but this damn game show host desperately needs a haircut. It's like a unkempt mullet that is receding and electrocuted.
@@mariesahota1478 Thank you for sharing that with us in your response, Marie. I'm very happy to hear that your niece recovered, and may she continue to be happy, healthy and blessed
the most underrated part of her game was taking out the 1p in the FIRST BOX which is something that NO 250,000 winner has ever done before

probably just from a rich family that's why she doesnt care about saying bye to 77k
Its great when you see an everyday person win an incredible amount like that.
I have watched this SO MANY times, and i still get emotional, Thank you Tegan, Hope your doing well..
My, my, Tegen. You truly are a humble young lady. I am so glad you won the £250,000! Only 8 other players besides you ever did this.
Wow! Well done Tegen! I miss this show since I moved from Uk to Australia!
Welcome to Australia

Me too so much better
It’s much more human in scale. It’s nicer, slower, less glitz, more substance.
@Ethan Morrill I prefer the UK and the US (NBC Version) more. I am also from America.
Im so happy this beautiful girl won xxx
Thanx switart for being a humble and sweet player...😍😍 beautiful soul
God bless you Tegen. Lots of love and good wishes for you from Bangladesh.
one of the best tv shows ever!
Trash Taste Podcast brought me here, and wow... This version of Deal or No Deal is so small and chill compared to the US version.

Absolutely thrilled that Tegan won. Good for her! Courageous or what?!
Courageous and brave.....
Very important, wishful and lovely advise from Duane......
My favourite UK game show!!
everything's very formal yet funny with a dash of sass which I LIKE
Literally the definition of British haha
so emotional n such bold girl well done girl 😘
can't believe the last offer is only 77k, the banker is so mean! no wonder they lose 250k!
Bro there was one game where the last two boxes were the 1p and 100,000 and the bank literally offered 5,000 I AM NOT KIDDING
the expected value of that box (20k+250k)/2 is 135K so 77k is half that.
if they had 1 dollar instead of 1 pent it would be 500k then
@@wwemario12345what happened did they deal
Defiantly prefer this to the American version !!
1000% agree the host is outstanding and everyone supports each other like family and so much emotional with their life stories I cry for every single story that hit the big one
with a background like she had she was more than worthy of winnin the 250 grand
"Do you want me to open it?" NO OF COURSE NOT THIS IS UK DEAL OR NO DEAL WHERE WE HAVE TO SPEND HAVE AN HOUR TALKING AND GETTING TO KNOW PEOPLE

I realized Tegen had created the exact same finish as Bunney from 2007.........
I completely forgot Morris from May 2006 (date of his game was my birthday too)
The ‘Morris Finish’. £20,000 & £250,000.
It's also the Bunney finish because he created the same finish as Morris.....
@@kennethaninon6913 Unlike Morris, Bunney dealt and could have won the £250k.

Some people who are scared of losing 55k would.
Sten Hard maybe if you had a debt from the maffia for 60k or something, and they'd come to cut your head off if you didn't pay them the next day ;-)

£20.000 and £250.000 the last final

Her greed payed off. Most people would've taken the $77,000. But she was young and greedy. But it payed off. So good for her.
Hopefully she gave the guy who encouraged her a bit of her money
His good advice did get him a VERY generous offer of £23,000 in his own game which he dealt for a spanking.
I like this version a lot better than the US version!! People are so friendly and the host is hot! lol

You should probably change the title of the video since it’s a spoiler
Anyone Who Can Eliminate The 1p In The First Box Is A Good Player.
she deserved the quater mil
It feels that she is the girl in the movie " a walk to rember"
77k is a ridiculous offer when the lowest case is 20k
Wonder where she is NOW
The 1st male £250,000 winner also has Roberts as his surname, like Tegen's surname.........
Why do you guys has to spoilered the show on the inizial screenshot and thet title?

She knew that she will be pick so the picture on the top of the box is ready🤔🤔🤔
Based on math alone, you have to go. 77,000 is lowball as hell, especially considering the 20k safety net.

whats her full name?
11.000£ on first offer was crap, he shud have said ATLEAST 20.000£. She might had taken it if he had said 25.000£
I think the first offer is designed to be bad. If everyone took the first offer, the game would be quite boring.
22 boxes 📦
After tax and fees, she won exactly £2535.45
No taxes or fees in Great Britain!!
Horray!!!!
77 000 offer when you have 50 - 50 to get 250k and also keep 20k is shitty offer , ofcourse you want to continue
77 grand when there's 270 in play and only two boxes left? That offer should have been at LEAST 100,000. Banker is clearly a cheapskate.
