As an avid rhythm game lover, my biggest advice for rhythm games is to mostly ignore the on screen visuals and just try to listen to and sync up with the music itself. A lot of people try to just match the visual prompts when playing rhythm games, and thus get tripped up when there's too many prompts too fast or when an unusual prompt appears. But if you're in time with the music, you'll stay right on beat. (though I will admit that Miku games tend to put the button prompts on the lyrics rather than the instruments, so knowing the song ahead or repeatedly playing it and learning the song by heart really helps) Miku games also tend to force you to use both hands, especially on higher difficulties, because the games let you use multiple different inputs for the same notes (such as using the arrow pad inputs as the same as face button inputs), with things like having you hold one or two face buttons but then also having more of that same input mid-hold, or even having inputs so fast you literally cannot button mash them fast enough and you'll have to use both sides of the same input to match them all. A big thing in Miku games is extreme customization. Not just in terms of the characters and their outfits, but you can customize the button prompt appearance, the sound that plays when you hit a button (or even silence it), etc. Most of the game's sound effects and visuals can be altered or even disabled, even the UI itself. @@mikeyunderstars ohhhh thats what you mean by THE miku song, gotcha lol. personally id say miku or odds&ends is the one for me but i see why you chose 39 music as well, really good song that describes miku culture extremely well
Okay, so first off the Leek is Miku's favorite food., all the Crypton Vocaloids have one, RIn likes Oranges, Len likes Banana's, KAITO likes Ice Cream, MEIKO likes sake, and Luka likes fish. Second, Rolling Girl isn't about Miku specifically having a bad day in music class, XD it is about someone struggling through daily life and debating ending it all by ceasing her breathing, but at the very end she finds one person who will hold her and help her through the bad times and she allows herself to keep rolling on for another day. Also I love how someone in chat warned how intense these get, and he said that it wasn't complicated and it seemed pretty straightforward, this man obviously has never played KAITO's Urotander song in Project Diva X. Also, chat always seems so chaotic no matter who is the new player of the game, they always want to see the streamer start on higher BPM songs and higher star difficulty songs, which is so unfair to the new players, XD. Worse yet, he himself said that he didn't need to worry about mapping the 4 buttons to any of the other buttons, even though he keeps missing the hit all 4 at once targets. XD Beginning players usually map 2 of the buttons to L and the other 2 to R or even all 4 to one of the trigger buttons when they are just starting out. Project Diva does not generally do covers. Usually if a Vocaloid has a song in the game, it is because it is their song. Some songs however will allow you to swap who sings them, like Snowman, which is originally a KAITO song, but Len can be swapped in to sing it instead. Or how Piano x Forte x Scandal is originally MEIKO but you could change it to Rin, Miku, or KAITO. LOL, it isn't really the Miku universe, but it sure gets treated like it nowadays. See, MEIKO came out first in Japan, then KAITO, then Miku. And even then there were English Vocaloids that came out in America before MEIKO, KAITO and Miku. Crypton made MEIKO, KAITO, Miku, Rin, Len, & Luka. But there are SO many more Vocaloids out there, English ones, Korean ones, Chinese ones, Spanish ones, etc. So yeah, plenty of other Vocaloid's out there made by plenty of other companies. KAITO's birthday is February 17th, MEIKO's birthday is November 5th, Miku is August 31st, Rin & Len are twins so they share December 27th. Almost every Vocaloid's out there has a birthday attached to their character, it is usually just the day that their first ever voicebank first released. XD So its pretty simple. Just like how almost all Vocaloids out there have canonical ages. Miku is 16, Rin & Len are 14, Luka is 21, KAITO & MEIKO do not have a specific age, but they are said to be somewhere around their early and mid 20's but a bit older than Luka, so most people assume they are somewhere around 23-25. This game truly is good at making you use BOTH hands, dominant and nondominant, it is much easier to handle the tougher modes with both hands, so if you ever aim to perfect any songs, using both hands will make that much simpler to do. XD YES! XD We really do get more excited when we see anyone other than Miku, because Miku is the poster child who always gets everything. All the games and concerts and merch deals and everything have her on them and are named after her. So it is rarer when we get to see someone other than her. LMAO, well....KAITO was actually gonna canonically die in that song at the end either way, even if you DID pass it, so that is actually really funny that YOU died and failed the song, that actually kinda saved him from bleeding out all of his blue blood. XD Well, I always looked at it as Miku is 1 of the 6 Crypton Vocaloids, so if she is out of the gravity but the others in the group are not, then it is 1/6 out of the gravity. But I'm sure that wasn't why that song was named that. XD See, most Vocaloid songs have deeper meanings, sometimes they are SUPER serious like talking about abuse or ending it all or being bullied or how hard societal expectations are, etc. Oh, that song is named 39 because that number is considered to be similar to Miku, since 3 is read as San and 9 is Kyu, so together it would be SanKyu which is close to Miku, but also sounds close to English saying Thank You. LMAO, Luka is the pink haired one in Blackjack, KAITO is the blue haired one, MEIKO is the brunet in red, Rin is the blond girl twin and Len is the blond boy twin. Sadly MEIKO is the least used of them all. She is mostly just used for "sex appeal" and she hasn't sold as well as the other Cryptonloids, even though she was the first and has the strongest voice. She is such a queen, so it is a real shame you didnt get to experience her other than hearing a preview of Suicide Lovers Oblivion. LOl, if you think Unhappy Refrain is rough on NORMAL, then try perfecting it on Hard or Extreme. XD Those will REALLY hurt your hands. XD Honestly, I am so happy more people are getting into Vocaloid nowadays, even if only slightly, and giving the games a try.
I read this a long time ago so might not be completely correct, but I’m pretty sure the lyrics of out of the gravity talk about wanting to take someone going through a rough time to the moon. IVE BEEN WANTING HIM TO DO THISSSSS
the audio gets cut off at 1:04:00
As a Miku hyperfixator I immediately clicked on this video with the biggest smile on my face
I think it'd be cool if RT tried Project Diva X since that one has a story with progression depending on you clearing the songs.
okay but now i need dan to start exploring other rhythm games
we've opened the door with project diva. it's time for rtgame's rhythming gaming hell
WOOOO I love this game, I can't wait to watch Dan play it!!
Can't wait for the follow up stream of project sekai! Lol
I have been waiting for rt to play a diva game!!! They are my personal rhythm games of choice can't wait to see him struggle!!
i would love to see more of this as it was funny to watch the pain XD
It's absolutely amazing how RT managed to hover over some of my favourite songs and then choose something else lol. My luck is awful.
Damn IT I wish I WAS THERE WHEN IT WAS LIVE!
Good, good Daniel. Submit to our twintailed overlord. Because as you already know this world is her world, and no luka luka night fever could change that.
Nooooo how'd i miss my chance to ask for a cantarella
not even rhythm heaven could save this man😭
Did they DMCA Aikotoba?
Yep
At this point, i'm just gonna wait the moment until he plays OSU
oh man, if he enjoyed this, i wonder how much fun he would have playing project sekai!! 😈😈
that one lets you okay on expert right out of the gate…
Hope he plays the rhythm doctor update at some point.
He needs to play siinamota next stream
with love is war, did you mean the mwk remix ? because thats faster and generally more energetic than the original
On one hand, I’m happy to see more ppl playing Miku games
On the other hand, I’m upset that’s it the most inferior game of the series
why does she dance like Jerma
song timestamps?
Someone just posted them in the comments
oh aikotoba is muted here as well
So is it impossible to get a full unmuted vod now?
Probably the difference between a copyright claim and a copyright strike if I had to guess? Perhaps someone with more knowledge knows
Hello there RT!!!! :D
RT immediately quitting in the first few second of Disappearance made my say
Why is Aikotaba muted for most of the song?
Copyright prob
