i reccomend playing project sekai! That game is basically those tap, hold, sliding notes. Its very fun and very entertaining to play! Oh and some of the songs you listened to in the past videos are actually in the game. Their either covered or just normal. And when i mean covered, its covered by unti groups. The unit groups are mostly sorted out based on feelings and genres. Such as Rock, Pop, Rapping, Jazz, and even more. I would tell you the names, but ill let you figure it out! #projectsekai
Yes!! I really want to play project sekai but I don't have a device that can play it 😭 so I'm saving up for one 😁 until then I'll be playing Diva

@@ImLJLIf you set your location to somewhere in Japan (on apple devices) then you can play the Japanese version of project sekai once you get it. Lagtrain recently got added to the Japanese version

You should listen to project sekai commissioned songs later. They’re basically songs commissioned from different creators to go along a specific group unit. And they have Vocaloids singing alongside real people. I think you‘d really like it!

I'm so happy you played Project Diva!! I started playing 4 years ago and I was HOOKED for a long while lol! I don't know if you found the character customization screen or not but I recommend changing the outfits for every song because it really improves the vibes and is just so silly! The way you do that is to press the X button on your controller before you start a song! I'm so in love with this game it's the best
Haha don’t worry, in the other streams we yelled at him to change costumes, the costumes will be changed now!
I got hounded into the costume designs in my later streams 😂 I'm starting to remember to switch to them before each song now! They do make a great difference. I've been wanting to play Tokyo Teddy Bear just for the name!! It just sounds so intriguing 😆

My favorite song in the game has to be "Unhappy refrain", it's so fun to play and Wowaka's music is so good 🎵🎶
I'm not sure if I've played that one yet but I've played Wowaka's other songs and absolutely found so much joy in them!! I'll def have to play that one next time 😁

@@ArteArt39honestly any song made by hinayukki with kaito as a vocal is amazing! my personal favorite is ‘time forgotten one’ it always reminded me of the legend of Zelda.
@@ImLJL Some KAITO (his name is officially written in full cap) producers you should really check out is Re:nG, 惑井 and SukoyaCathedral, literally every KAITO songs of theirs are so good
Tears of Garnet is also one of my fav KAITO songs, def recommend that one

glad you're playing Diva!, just for more insight on this whole thing, Diva started as a series of games in PSP, with the og Project Diva, then 2nd and then Extend, later being renewed for releases of new games for PS3/Vita, Project Diva F and F2nd (and also Dreamy Theater which is basically a port of the PSP games with better graphics for PS3 only), and then Future Tone and Project Diva X for PS4 (X also being on Vita), Future Tone is a port of the Arcade version of the game with most songs from past games with renewed graphics, what you've just played is Megamix + which is a PC port of Project Diva Megamix (a port of Future Tone from PS4 to Switch), Project Diva also had a spin-off series called Project Mirai released for Nintendo DS and 3Ds, with the og Project Mirai and Project Mirai 2nd, DX coming later (Project Mirai DX being the only being released outside of Japan but basically being a mix of the 2 Mirai games in one), the special thing about Mirai is that it includes Gumi!, so there's songs like Matryoshka or 1 2 Fanclub (1/2)
most songs from Mirai were ported to Arcade/Future Tone/Megamix while others didn't, meanwhile none of the X songs got ported to those games like ever, so it would be cool seeing other streams where you play Mirai or Diva X!, since their gameplays are also pretty different, but for now, hope you enjoy Megamix +! (2/2)

You have to play the wowaka songs in Project Diva, they're so good and so fun to play! (At least from the gameplays I've seen lol) Glad you're having so much fun, this video was a great start to my day🙌
I think I've played all of them except for unrefined love. They got me to appreciate his music even more and they were so much fun!!

Glad you enjoyed the game! You did really well honestly. I wish there were project diva cabinets in NZ, im not sure if there are rhythm game arcades there like round1 or time zone. You would enjoy it id think if they came
i really got hooked on this game a couple months ago, its incredible. it has changed my life, i highly recommend using one of the special controllers

I HAVE A RABBIT HOLE OF A RECOMEDATION, I'm not sure if you have heard yet of the Evillious Chronicles by Mothy.
To use a VERY simple summary it is a collection of over 50 songs that all form one giant story about every sin. However there are 8 songs that are the primary idea around each sin that i would recomend in this order:
Evil Food Eater Conchita
Madness/Lunacy of Duke Venomania
Daughter of Evil
Servant of Evil (must listen after Daughter of Evil)
Gift from the Princess who Brought Sleep
The Tailor of Enbizaka
Judgement of Corruption
Muzzle of Nemisis
There are other amazing additional songs to actually explain what happens during these stories but it's confusing even for the Fandom. However... nothing has altered my brain chemistry quite like this collection all together and each story they portray through song and PVs (I would recomend watching the ones by Mario GaGabriel on youtube!)
yesssss project diva video let’s go! a lot of people start on your level and i think you improved really fast! i think i’m a late-stage newbie to diva, i can play most songs on hard and not die lmao. a little tip is to try not to focus on holding buttons for as long as you can, and if you are holding a note and see a new note coming, you can either use the other hand or let go of the hold early. also slides are just naturally confusing and it takes a bit of practice to get used to them, because some songs don’t have them and others do lol. will try to watch your twitch streams btw :D hope this helped!

Hey just so you know, megamix has a really ugly filter on the character models by default for some reason and they can actually look way nicer. you just need to press down the L stick in the song selection menu once and it'll switch the graphics to "future Tone" mode and the characters will look much more detailed and prettier
OH MY GODS YES I’m so glad you tried the game!! I love the project diva/sekai games so much. These games hold such a special place in my heart im so glad you played mega mix it has some of the classics on it that you never got to but I’m so glad you played the game and are enjoying the experience so far

Hmm, favorite song in Arcade...honestly, I play Acute a lot, but that is technically from F. So if we are talking songs that are just in Arcade but not any other Diva games in the series, then I like Snowman, Piano x Forte x Scandal, Lovers Suicide Oblivion, and Embarrassment Hiding Adolescence.
Also, yes, you are doing just fine for a beginner. Honestly, I would have started with an easier game like X, F or F2nd first, but props to you for starting with the hardest Diva game.
Idk if I'd add F 2nd to that list of easier games, the normal charts in that one are pretty brutal for a beginner 💀

@@Sakachi18 yeah I'm not really complaining, they were fun to play but I really had to practice on X first, so I'd say it should be a little further down the list rather than equivalent is what I'm sayin (so nothing particularly important lmao)
@ArteArt39 I loved F 2nd the most out of them all. It was the most fun to me and best interface and look. But I enjoyed X a lot as well. F was pretty good for the time but has not aged as well as the other 2. And honestly, all 3 of those games are still easier than Arcade, so I'd still put them as good starters for the series. It really just depends on what consoles he has.
@@Sakachi18 fair enough, I haven't played any of the arcade ports, and F2nd is great! The controls for the star notes on the vita version is what kinda spoiled F for me💀

I recommended pjsk. I playnproject sekai and diva and pjsk has 20 original characters + crypton vocaloids. Also the events are cool, THOSE fans are kinda scary, and April fools updates are really cool! (If u have a phone/ipad) i think you can download it unless u can’t play it on that device
Yea I sadly can't play it on my device. I need to save up for a tablet/iPad before I can play project sekai 😭
@@ImLJLIMPORTANT TO NOTE, the game is really bad at explaining it's basic mechanics beyond the rhythm game and the ui is really confusing in general so you might need chat's help sometimes. There IS a tutorial for beginners but it's hidden *at the very bottom of the news section* which is itself part of a menu with 16 small buttons, and THAT menu is accessed by pressing a tiny button in the corner of the main screen/menu. Just a taste of what's to come lmao
try to get a iPad or tablet with high storage.mine has 32gb so it lags so much@@ImLJL

Also, you know how the vocals won't play when you miss notes? You can turn that off in the customization settings. I find it kinda annoying, and much easier to jam when it just plays normally.
if you wanna do a video on a vocaloid producer but hear a new vocaloid, listen to SEDO sounder! they mostly (if not only) make music using the vocaloid MAYU! one of my favorite producers that isn't as popular. if you've ever heard a song of SEDO sounder's it's probably Shiritakunai (AKA I don't wanna know)!!
