I watched this a few months ago and thought it was the hardest thing ever to play. Gave up after 1h of trying. Came back to it and now I learned how to play the whole thing in less than a day. Found it very easy and fun to play. Much love and thanks.
I am SO relieved to see that someone strums like me (I've only been playing for 3 months and I am needing a challenge) I thought I was just being an idiot....THANK you for this its amazing and one of my very fav songs!!!
What an amazing tutorial. I've been playing the Ukulele a short time but was able to follow along perfectly. Please keep up the good work covering my favorite songs!
Caleb Glover Thanks for the encouragement Caleb, really appreciate it :) Currently working on a tutorial for Avenged Sevenfold - Nightmare which is a fun challenge!
Wow I didnt realize you were a small youtuber! Best tutorials i've seen!!! Keep on the ahrd work! Btw the name of the channel is just perfect! You rock!! (Or better, you uke!!)
Thanks so much :) A while back I had fun learning to play this song (badly) on a drum kit as well and I think that helped me to adding in some of the drum 🥁 parts!
great tutorial, but there is a small mistake in the variation of the second bar in the second intro part in your Google doc tab. but that really is the only critique I have, the rest was absolutely great. I learned this within a day even though I never touched a ukulele before :). thank you so much!
It may seem difficult but with tons of practice and dedication you'll definitely get the hang of it! I hated bar chords, I could never nail them, my notes would always buzz or mute but I kept practicing and now my bar chords sound average lol, uke can do it!
I will certainly try, please can I check which part you mean exactly? e.g. which bit do you mean in this document: docs.google.com/document/d/1mqmFULcfpFXaVKePkdY6WB_UsfkOPr5KkWS01p5OlFk/edit
Thanks for your comment Todsel, it's probably because I haven't explained it very clearly - I will make a follow-up video for the chords and strumming =)
I want to be able to play this so bad, but im hung up on the intro., maybe I have the crappiest Uke in the world, or a weirdly sized one... My hand will NOT assume the fretboard positionaing for bar 4
@@ukecando Yep. The crease on my finger inhibits me from applying pressure on the first string during the bar... Thus its just muted. Im going to work on it as much as possible. I think I have a soprano Uke, so its a bit large and in charge, and my hands arent very dextrous seeing as I am a beginner. I love your videos though, and thank you so much for the tutorials!
@@trippietragedy9188 I'm sure this will improve with practice, one tip is to turn your first finger a little so you are pressing the strings down with the edge of your finger, not your pads - this video explains it well :) ruclips.net/video/inNM_0QRwKg/видео.html
@@ukecando I will definitely check into it. I want to learn a good bit of system of a down. They are my favorite band. Was hoping to move on to some videogame material, but finding good channels for tutorials is hard. So far your channel has been the best!
@@ggstone9 yes I agree that's much easier to follow, I've only recently figured out how to put the chords on screen so my more recent tutorials have this :^)
Muchas gracias!
Yes that's got to be the trickiest part, when I get stuck I find it helps to play really slowly - snail's pace - and sound out each individual note, then repeat. Hope this helps :)
Hi Jafbo, sorry to hear that. Here are some suggestions: - in the description under the video there's a link to the tab that tells you which fret to play - it's possible to slow the video down if you click/tap on the cog (Settings) icon on the screen and select Playback speed e.g. 0.75 / 0.5 Hope this helps :)

Suddenly was curious what System of a Down would sounds like on a ukalele. No way someone has done that though. Checked RUclips and here it is lol
Heh heh, I wonder what Metallica would sound like...
thank you for this tutorial I can't wait to bust this out in front of my family haha.
