    Great tutorial! Just downloaded BM3. I’ve never made a beat in my life but I wanna make background music for an upcoming project. Thanks for breaking it down for newbies like me!

    Wow! This was an amazing tutorial. You really explained everything so well. I am a total newbie wanting to make boom bap style of hip hop beats. I will be 100% sample-based. I am not a musician. I was thinking about purchasing the MPC Studio MK2 (second hand they're around $150-$175) in order to keep my costs down. However, I recently learned about Beatmaker 3 and it seems super cool. In the video you said you were using a MOC Studio Black as a midi controller. My question is: Would I have to use a midi controller, or could I just tap the pads on the actual iPad screen? A midi controller would be cool, but I wouldn't know how to connect or map any keys out, so I will probably just need to use the actual iPad. For a beginner, what would you recommend: Beatmaker 3 or the MPC Studio MK2, using the MPC Software? Thank you again. Blessings.

    I’ve been using bm3 for a few years now, you showed me something I didn’t realize, “keys mode “ to slice. I would always slice to pads and then mess with it. Thank you, great video. Just a suggestion for future videos, Maybe use a mouse to highlight the area you’re talking about..

    Hey, you are right, that the iPad is more capable than what people are giving it credit for and Bm3 is as stable a Daw as any on the marketplace , it more intuitive than native instruments and that’s coming for a seasoned machine user, great tutorial.

    I'm very confused as why there's u tube videos cover more territory of 10 min video.
    I am not sure I get this video. As compare to this video. Is there a way to redo this video? To reduce and give more.

    I have created a sample and I can hear it in editor mode when I hit preview but I cannot get it to sound when hitting a pad. The sample does sound in the piano key view. Any ideas?

    Hello I have a Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd gen connected to a powered usb hub and that's connected to my IPAD.
    BM3 is able use the Scarlett Solo as an input but how do I get audio from my computer to get a sample?
    Hope you can help

    • @SleepyEyezCarter
      @SleepyEyezCarter  2 года назад

      I have a Scarlett also and it’s set up the same way as yours. However, With the CPU I have that connected to a separate audio interface (a cheap $50 Behringer). I run an audio cord from the headphone jack of Behringer to the Scarlett’s mic input. That’s how I’m able to sample from my CPU into my BM3. Hope this made sense

    Why would you want to use BM3? They aren’t updating anymore and all the audio coming out sounds weak and needs too much processing
