Food for thought
How do you think Dmart is applying pricing strategies to compete in the market?
Let's connect on Twitter
twitter.com/Ganeshprasad999?s=09
first discounting strategy due to volumes, second dmart pays in cash with the purchase of its order as soon as the order is warehoused; cash discount, third dmart gets discount on the product to store in shelfs that are near to the entry of the stores or at convenient places lastly they open stores outside the city and mostly all stores are ownes by dmart itself some stores are still leased but they have very less rent as they are outside the city
Also majority of Dmart goods are local
MAKE A CASE STUDY ON DLF
They own the stores so they don't need to pay the rental which is one of the biggest cost of retailers like big bazaar.
Wow 😱 as usual got different perspective of thinking 🔥💯 Thankyou for your knowledge ✨🙌

You are right but if I put in this way Happy Employees -> Happy Customers -> Happy Business -> Happy Investors -> Happy Company

I'm so fortunate that I got to work with Walmart in the early stage of my career and had a huge impact of working with Fortune No.1 company in my life. Learnt so much and understood the value of Ethics and Integrity in business operations.
Near 2030 and forward children are gonna talk about a Teacher who taught to " See the worse as The Best" 🤩😘 Ganesh we love you
After seeing this video I got to know How I spent money in thousands in DMART just after went to buy daily needs like Pastes and Soaps😂. At the entrance of that MART, they kept discounts on what I needed, On seeing that discount I visited the whole mart to know discounts on other things and spent a lot of money.😂 OH MY GOD. And Coming to u Ganesh brother thanks for sharing valuable content all the time and sharing more knowledge with us. Thank u once again and waiting for the next video.😊
Thanks alot bro ♥️ :)
Great video! My husband came from India in 1992 to work for Walmart corporate. I am so thankful he did, because we have built a wonderful life together and he still works for Walmart today. I also worked for Walmart many years ago, and actually met Sam Walton. You hear so much in the media about how awful Walmart is, but I can tell you that Walmart has been a huge blessing not just to my husband and me, but to my entire extended family. I have seven close family Members also working for Walmart, and I can tell you that Walmart does reward their employees well if you work hard. Not only that, our community has been showered with gifts to our educational system, the arts, etc. by the Walton family. Great company.
Jeff Bejos identified an upcoming change in consumer behavoiur. He had the foresight of using internet in the shopping experiences. Thus he understood that people will become more comfortable on buying anything from their computers than physically visiting a general store
You are educating way better then others!! You are a legend bro..

Bro you can also upload your audios to Spotify as a short smart podcasts. Content is just 🔥🔥🔥
Yes bro.. working on it.
I have been following this channel for a while. Think School has really opened my eyes. I now believe rather than coding on platform such as leetcode, hacker rank, one should learn development and do something innovative and creative. Engineering has become a joke now.
As the world is moving towards digitalisation, coding is required to bring ideas into reality. Everyone can't become entrepreneurs, CEOs, leaders. A great company is run by quality employees who are selected wisely by the leader.
Engineering isn't a joke. The Indian engineering scene is a joke with outdated syllabus and huge numbers of low quality engineers with just the degree for namesake.

This case study gave me goosebumps
I really love the style you present the content, including the thumbnails that are very simple and straight topic related.... And the best thing that I like about your content is that, you don't advertise in between the videos/including the ads that other creators put to gain more money from ad sense. but that disturbs the focus of the video...….
*You are creating amazing content, and very knowledgeable. Keep going !!**
We do endorse brands Bro. No creator can survive without that.
This case study was goosebumps for me. Really amazing.
Loved the concept of Power of discounting, habit of collating best practices of all your competitors

In India, where In school students have not freedom to write answers by their understanding (and only by copying from books), to imagine a company owner to give freedom to his/her managers like Sam Walton is a fairy-tale. So, Thanks you for inspiring people to take risk and be courageous in situations like "fear of leaving land".
We need more frequent videos 💙
Wow, this is so powerful.
Decentralization of ideation and innovation is what has made America so rich in general.
Good one...nice to see such videos of this genre from you.the previous ones were pretty off track for me personally as a sub to your channel.
It inspire many and also check on course correction...many more to come.👍
PS: am doing my market survey now.🤐
hoping to see my study on your channel some years later😀.
I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment. I always tell myself you don't need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. That mindset helped me make more money investing. For example last year I invested 80k in stocks (with the help of my Financial Advisor of course) and made about 246k, but guess what? I put it all back and traded with her again and now I'm rounding up close to a million.
The pandemic came and taught everyone the importance of having multiple stream of income, unfortunately having a nice paying job doesn't mean you are financial secured anymore. So we all need to put in an extra-income earning chance, like investments.
Wow what a coincidence, you invested with Mrs Kathy lien also.? I also trade with her I get to earn a biweekly trading income of 43k pioneered by Mrs Kathy lien.
Love y'all 😍and the information given always learning and growing is the only way we can hone our skills and build ourselves. Most interesting thing is that the rich gets Richer because the poor thinks that every opportunity is a scam especially investment like bitcoin, dogecoin, safemoon, gold, silver, crude oil, ethereum, litecoin, bitcoin cash, cardano, polkadot, stellar, chainlink, binance coin, (BNB) etc has been able to represents legion of adventures and entrepreneur most especially risk taking, investors and problems solver.
When you hold, you stand the chance of losing it all, thanks to Mrs Kathy. I and my life partner are retired already but still derive funds as profits trading with her.
The way you explained all of the scenario it's too good and give a good vibe that how things works if you have the will to make it happen.
And you know what guys ?
This channel is a Gem
Man-management is the most important thing in a team rather than tactics.
Hey Ganesh...
First of all thanks a lot for educating us and for all your efforts in bringing out this wonderful content. Can you also make a video on how you research about a company, how much time you devote, what kind of blogs you read so that it will be beneficial for us to do the same when need to know about any case study of a company . :)

Great insights into retail industry strategy of Walmart...Enjoyed this video...
It is always good to listen to you and the way you narrate it sounds simple and good to listen (I know it is not simple or easy ) lot of hard work and data collection goes in hats off
I worked in Walmart for a while in Canada. Another important point is employee growth is unlimited. Most of the people here worked for over 30 years which is uncommon in North America. Some one who started as a sales floor associate retired as a store manager and even as a Zonal head.
Hey Prasad, can you make a separate video on books that you have read and resources you have used to gain such understanding. ❤️🙏
This case study had given me some confidence ❤
Hey there
