Thank you SO much for posting this. The tip about making sure the tension is tight around the brush was game changer for me. I recently got the dyson as a gift for myself after eyeing it for so long and I've been trying to learn how to use it. My biggest struggle was trying to keep the curls to last 😭 I just tried this and wow such a subtle adjustment but it make my curls come out more bouncy and way more defined (and finally lasting longer). Honestly, wow what a difference. Combined with a good ol hair flip and it looks so perfect and voluminous 😭 You're best and thanks again for sharing this tip!
Holy crap your hair is insanely gorgeous 🤩 I love my air wrap! I have alopecia areata and during the pandemic I lost a lot of hair, sadly. The dyson gave me volume to help hide the losses and now after two years of zero episodes, my hair is healthier than ever. The dyson lets me curl my hair every day and without any guilt. I can use the low heat and cool shock and I’m good to go. No more sad burned hair smell. I get so many compliments when I use it too. To me, there are so little beauty tools that live up to the hype, but dyson does. I’m going to buy a second one for my daughter, she keeps stealing mine and I simply can’t share 😂
My mom is a hairstylist. Everyone has different hair types. A lot of us have fine hair, thick hair, and etc. So, don’t be too bummed if your hair doesn’t look like hers after one try. Focus on maintaining healthier hair first and then experiment. Don’t forget to put serum on your hair everyday even if you didn’t wash it yet. The will prevent dehydrated hair. Massage your hair by brushing your scalp by starting with the ends first to prevent any knots from dragging your scalp and hurting you. Then, brush from scalp to end for about 5 minutes each morning and night. This will increase blood flow in your scalp and will give your hair the nutrients it needs. At night, wrap your hair silk or tshirt, so it will prevent frizz the next day and prevent breakage. Every month, try to do a deep scalp wash by oiling your entire scalp for an hour and washing your hair with shampoo twice, to make sure all the all from your scalp are gone. Always use conditioner to the bottom half of your hair only. The remainder conditioner in your hand can be out on the upper part of your hair, making sure less products will be in contact with your scalp. Then try this. Your hair will look shiny and healthier and you’ll feel 100% more confident too.
I love this so much! I just recently bought that same airdrop and I am in heaven. I was able to use a 20% off coupon so I'm extremely happy with my purchase and saving money on a splurge. Definitely need to practice using it more as I'm getting married in a week and want to have gorgeous curls. I've been trying to find easier ways with curling my hair but everything I tried and used were just fails. I suck at styling my hair besides ponytails and straightening. So, I'm extremely happy with my Dyson airwrap. No regrets. Just gotta make sure I use it religiously now since I did spend a pretty penny on it.😄

Oh yeahhhhh & hell yessss! It's so beautiful! The only thing I haven't been doing is the bang with a roller. I'll try it out! Also, the Moroccanoil works well with your hair type!
Its easier and better if you dont rotate the dyson, you dont have to rotate it, just move it back and forth, the dyson itself will create the tension. When you rotate it you are the one who makes the tightness go away. Use my tioit really works 😊
TIPS FOR PEOPLE WHO TRIED THIS BUT UR HAIR WONT HOLD CURLS Hi! I watched this video and followed every step, but my hair just didnt look the same. This is because you have to adjust everything to your hair type. Mine will not hold curls, unless i put in moose and use less conditioner and no leave in conditioners (so do that). I also use duck bill clips to hold the curls and smaller velcro rollers for the top. I got the same results after making adjustments. Hope this helped! :)
Hey! Colleen I really love your hairs so so much and your hairs are too silky and I love your vlogs so so much and I wish you reach 50K Subscribers very very soon!💫💞☺️
This might be a silly question ... but is there a time limit or suggestion ? Like is there a specific amount of time I should leave the curler on heat mode? 😢😢 im super new

so i get it dyson is great for when you want to style your hair but it’s too damp to style it with regular and dyson is perfect for that quick go where as a regular heat curler you must wait til it’s fully dry which takes up more time

@@shine-1111 You can use a hair mousse after you applied a heat protectant. Make sure your hair is 90% dry. After making the curls. You may also use hair spray for longer holding your curls.

my exact issue at first too! I would suggest holding the dyson still and straight upward, let the dyson catch your hair from the ends and it’ll slowly wrap itself around! Also using the 90-95% dry hair method as well! :) hope this helps! ❤️
