VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
In this video we woke up early to catch the incredible sunrise in Bagan, definitely worth waking up early. We then went on a day trip to hike up Mount Popa nearby and then explored some more temples in Bagan before enjoying the sunset next to the Irrawaddy river. Bagan is easily the best sunrise & sunset place that we have ever been to.

Mingalaba. That last sunrise was beautiful. The sunset over the river was stunning! Aside from the beautiful temples, Bagan seems to have a very relaxed pace, as do the folks who live there, so I can see why you opted to extend your stay.
Yeah wasn't busy at all, surprised since its the biggest attraction in Myanmar... really laid back place :D

Yeah it seems every mountain in Myanmar has a monastery or pagoda of some sort on top :) As you are traveling around Myanmar you see them in the distance on all the hill tops

An amazing and untouched country. My wife and I got to experience Bagan and Mandalay in 2017 and was blown away pure everyone and everything was. It's unfortunate they were taken over by a military coup as they were on the way to being in the same category as a backpacker country like Thailand. Glad you got to experience this once beautiful nation!

yeah we are not morning people either but after the first sunrise we woke up at the same time 4 days in a row lol. Wish I had footage of the other days also
Stayed in a nice hotel that serve a beautiful breakfast on the rooftop. You are been awakened by the humming sound of the monks with there prayers lasting 4-5 hours.
I did ask if it was a CD 💿. Of course they where insulted.
The let me know its a monks morning prayer 🙏🏻 in real time.
Yes the air 🎈 are expensive plus there fully booked for a month.
I also thing they the served wonderful food there. If I have a chance I would definitely visit Myanmar again.👍

bagan is my home town. you inspired me to plan a trip to Vietnam in this april. you should go to TantKyiTaung pagoda. you can have spectacular views of bagan across river.

3;59 it is called htan nyet ..( jaggery) ..made from the juice from the plant @3;54 have you drink it yet ?? it is preety much like beer ...locals called sky beer .( it is collected from that plant which too high ) ...
Ceylon also Buddhist country but Myanmar is amazing lot of buddhist ruins I ever see

Yeah that place was a bit different. It’s more of a platform with a normal set of steps and then the temple is at the top. So wasn’t actually in the temple yet
