Fair play to WSW for coming back from 2-0 down, and fair play to the travelling WSW fans. They were going the whole match.. That is good for the league. I think the referee got both hand ball calls incorrect. If the Brisbane one had been given, the complexion of the game would have changed.
Not a handball. I'm happy with that decision because his arm is clearly at his side and the ball touches his body and hand. He didnt put his arm out to play at it. Handball is a stupid rule anyway the way it's interpreted at the moment.
Socceroos qualified for 5 straight world cups, the Matildas r flying, covid is over, the goals/play is terrific, but still the crowds look low to me. Seemed to b much larger crowds going back 5/10 even 15 years ago. Cut the season to 22 rounds like the AFL. These long 30 plus seasons r getting too expensive & a touch boring for fans to get to after a while.
How in any universe do 11 men run up and down a sporting field for more than ONE AND A HALF HOURS and score only twice? You want Aussie sports fans, who are spoilt with choice of football codes to support, to go and watch this crap? SCORE GOALS.
@publius1252 you obviously don't understand this sport...it's not about the scoreboard and goals e.g do you understand the training goalkeepers go through..you're talking like it should be easy to score goals in football😂
@@publius1252The rest of the world watches this sport, not like whatever pathetic regional egg ball sport you support with teams winning by such a big margin early you can go home at HT. Points, points, points even points for missing.
Hendrix wasn't a pen, hands by side and ball shot into his hands while he was standing still. Neville's was a deliberate handball as he jumped across to block the ball.
So in football, just dangle your arms out to the side, you know, natural positions when the player takes a shot, if it hits them, no worries, totally legal. What a joke.
They could have given tickets away for free and it wouldn't have done anything. The game got delayed by an hour because of a thunderstorm. It was lucky it didn't end up getting called off entirely.
Typical A-League refs, missed a blatant deliberate handball from Neville, he dove across to save it like he was peak Neuer.. how the refs missed that is beyond me. That would have been a penalty + red card. Hand position doesn't come into it when he's jumped over to block the ball from being scored. Absolutely terrible call. To the Roar complainers about Hendrix, that one isn't a handball. It wasn't deliberate and his hands were by his sides in the legally required position. It was also hit straight into his hand from a meter away while he was standing still. It's no pen.
How on earth did VAR miss that handball
Because the VAR is corrupt
What handball? His arm was in a natural position
Which one? Both teams basically replicated each other, arms in natural positions.
Never ever handball. The fact you think its handball says a lot about your lack of knowledge.
@@BigCarso thats the problem, there are games where that is given. blow all or none. they have given that in previous games this year

Do the extended highlights show the Brisbane handball?
I missed the match because, well, sadly it kicked off at 2:45 AM U.S. time haha
Great Match
Classic match!

Also you realise that was offside at the end? People would watch this and think it ended 3-2 to the Roar lol.
Glad you posted that. I thought Roar had won.
harps said it is going to be rubbed out, pretty clear and obvious
Legend has it Brownlee is still celebrating

People left this game due to rain delay, there’s other reasons why not that many people come.
It's never a handball against Roar. It happened earlier
Love that they aren't showing the obvious handball by wsw

How in any universe are you not aware on how handball rule works before posting
@@cijj84 the ball was going in the net if it didn’t hit his hand which wasn’t really beside him either.
Great comeback wsw
The highlights show Neville's close call but don't show the one at the other end 20 minutes earlier? Care to comment?
You think the person editing this video gives a rats arse about A-League? Check their history man their editing is garbage.

Aleague might have some of the worst defending in the world
Why? Because 4 goals were scored in a really entertaining game? Not flukey goals either.

Miserable crowd attendance. Pathetic. Lower the prices. $5 for a ticket would sellout and make more money surely
How much were they going for?? 💸
It wouldn’t do much, as most people don’t know about the A-league.

Prices are a joke correct should be $15 & sit where ever like the old nsl days.
