You're just another bruce Lee's worshiper. Bruce Lee's achievements weren't big at 32. It became big by worshipers like you right after his death and Internet in the 21 st century. Because all Bruce Lee's worshipers say that there will no another genius like bruce lee and so on so forth it is truth and no one is really come with the new ideas and martial arts. Although now martial artists are better than bruce lee and know more in the martial arts...For example, Jackie chan did more movies than bruce lee as well as others...then you can say that there will be no man like Jackie chan too ))) such worshipers like you create gods out of people who could reach big success. As for Bruce lee he didnt enjoy his success and achievements mostly popped up after his death at 32. So his success was big. But It became bigger and phenomenon after his death. Death makes you bigger and immortal.

Wow, that brought back so, many memories.
I was overseas in the Army and got to see this movie around 1973ish.
All the soldiers went nuts during the movie and afterwards.
This IS the movie that got me into the martial arts. I bought sometime later the book Tao of jeet kun do. The pages finally fell out of the book.
That how many times I had read it.
I was constantly comparing the system I studied to wing Chun. There were several articles that compared in various karate magazines wing Chun to isshinryu.
I finally got to study wing Chun many years ago and incorporated it into my skills
Now, I'm 69, years old and retired due to open heart surgery and overcoming cancer. Made it to 4th degree. I'm happy what I accomplished, as well as when I taught.
Thanks for all these pictures and allowing me th stroll down memory lane.
Bruce Lee, really effected me. He's a hero, to many of us, as we attempted to gain his prowess and skills. Glad I was alive during his short time on earth. He made the martial arts as people looked for good instructors to train during that era! I was one of them!

While there was no internet, Bruce Lee movies were really spreading around the world in the 70s and 80s and watched by all ages from 12 year old up to over 50 years. Amazing to achieve such popularity in that time.

I'm sorry that time has passed. We looked at films as something magical. There was nothing like it before. Actors for us were like gods. I sometimes cry, I would give anything to be at that time again.

Hi Charles! Makes you wonder how this movie would've been made without Bruce Lee. These behind the scenes shows Bruce lee's dedication to making his costars look just as good as him. Giving him the green light to control every fight scene, made everyone shine in their roles. Villain or hero, you looked good thanks to Bruce lee's visuals on how he saw the fights scenes should play out. This movie was the milestone for future Martial Arts movies to evolve. I don't think Bruce Lee knew how much of an impact his dream would effect the way we see martial arts movies today. Great pictures Charles,thanks brother. Another awesome series of photos, Charles, thanks for sharing! I've always gotten the feeling from the photos of Bruce & John that these guys genuinely liked each other & would have remained friends after the making of Enter The Dragon, too. I think Bruce enjoyed having people from The States around in Hong Kong, he felt as much like an American as he did a Hong Kong Chinese person, and with John there wouldn't have been the competitiveness there was with the martial arts guys.

Bruce Lee did most of the fight coordination and directing of the fight scenes. He had a stunt double for backflips and the tumbles he did in the opening scene of enterthedragon enjoy Sundays new action, packed short and another new enter the dragon episode this Tuesday. ETD was the first MA movie I ever saw. I was 21, and soon after, I wanted to create my own MA system, without ever having studied one form - that's how much I was inspired by BL. Beautiful photographs.

It's hard to believe that most the people in Enter The Dragon is no longer with us. Bruce Lee, Anha Capri, Jim Kelly, John Saxon, Shiek Kien and very recently Bob Wall(O'Hara). Very few people are left such as Bolo Yeung and Nora Mao. This summer will mark 50 Years since the passing of Bruce Lee and the premier of Enter The Dragon. They should release it in the theater to commemorate and honor the memories of those who starred in the film.
Carl it certainly is...Jackie Chan and Angela Mao as well are around, still very sad but we have the Greatest MA movie of all time to look forward to and cherish every time we watch it. Bruce had what is called " it ". Style, grace, balletic elegance, a panther like pounce, flashness, other-wordly charisma. Only seen Elvis Presley, Muhammad Ali, Michael Jackson, Sugar Ray Leonard, have all that. Tyson had a more brutal, hoodlum style.
