You sound just like me right now haha. I've been watching motorcycle videos all week and really want to take a course now to see if I'd actually be into it.
That was basically me man! I'm not sure if I mention it in this vid. I pretty much was like "I should get a bike". Talked to a few friends and then 4-5 days later I was going for my course. Same day right after I passed, I went out and test rode an MT-03. Deff was so worth doing. I love the bike so much.
Same start with me brother, started watching RUclips videos and then did my Ls and loved the freedom on being on a motorcycle. If you are still on your Ls, shouldn’t you have another fully licensed rider with you whilst riding?
Yeah its the best feeling bro, best decision I have ever made for sure. What do you mean a fully licensed rider with you? You don't need someone with you? Where did you get your Ls where that's the requirement?
I hope I heard that right-but did you say that you are wearing your dad’s old motorcycle jacket? If so that, that is one of the coolest things I have heard.
Yep! My dad used to ride around 13-15 years ago. The jacket I have tho is from like 20 years ago when he had a BMW K1200LT. Kinda crazy how it goes full circle hey?
@@EMTOHyt Yeah, it is. My dad used to ride a Triumph back in the 60-70s. But he stopped riding really when he got married and had kids. I remember he used to buy a used bike and ride it for like two weeks and take us out on it-and then sell it. Now that I have the MT-07 and a Sportster in the garage I told him we should ride together. Oh-I took your advice and got on the MT-07 today. It was the best ride I have had in years, I absolutely love this bike and giving serious thought to selling my Harley, except I may keep it so I can ride with my Dad.
@@HandOvDoom2112 That's so sick, those memories never go away. I remember almost every time my dad took me out on his bikes too. The sportster is beautiful too. I thought I would want a super sport but love the nakeds too much. Did you buy an MT-07 because of what I said? If so, that's really flattering, I am really glad I made a positive influence on someone. Deff keep the bike so you can ride with your dad. I am trying to get my dad to get a bike, but he has some other priorities atm. I would kill to have a cruise with my dad tbh
Nice ride. I only start in 2nd gear. The only time I use 1st is on very slow moving traffic where the 2nd would pull too much for the traffic speed.
Yeah 2nd feels very smooth compared to 1st. But I've managed to learn, so I'm chillin now :)

@@EMTOHyt I just researched it’s only in Queensland to have a full licensed motorcycle rider supervising for the first 3 months.
