      If you watched the video has nothing to do with style. The stick has massive problems everywhere compared to other low kick sticks. Durability, grip, worksmen ship, whipped out very quickly. I always tests sticks objectively on how they do and this one was blah

    One man's opinion. I actually work in a hockey shop and have seen True grow from nothing into a company that is now #3 in the industry. They didn't do that by building horrible sticks. The HZRDUS PX is jumping off our racks and we have already re-ordered. The brand is growing quickly in the NHL as well. They have had some quality issues but likely because they have opened another manufacturing facility in Mexico - all of which they own. The big two outsource all their sticks and they all come from China. As for the weight, you should probably learn something about composite manufacturing and review their website where they state that the weight is without the end plug and standard manufacturing tolerances apply. All the sticks in my store hover around 350 with a 6 gram end plug - so the sticks are about 344 without the plug. In our store we sell more True junior sticks than any other brand. Kids love them. It's a solid company and their products keep improving - though your personal preference may vary. Perhaps you have loyalties to another brand, or perhaps you're just upset about the price of the sticks (I agree they've gotten too high). That said, a high end stick 5 years ago was around 420g and $259 US. You can now buy a 395g HZRDUS 7X for $229. Nobody is forcing you to buy the PX. If you've watched this review I suggest only one thing: try every stick for yourself. What you love, another player will hate. True sticks have a unique manufacturing process and different feel. It's worked for them. If you're a fanboy of another company you may not like them. Search the internet for reviews on Apple products. Plenty of Android fanboys trash them frequently. But they've done pretty well as a company. Terrible review - you can't be taken seriously. But thanks for your opinion.

      everything you said is based on marketing and not actual wieght. In the review i weigh it. I also test EVERY stick in the top end catagory and can compare all of them on ice in games. No one can say that. so in the end I post these to help those avoid what you just said. TEST every stick. come on mate I spent over 6000$ on gear for this channel, no one is doing that and they want reviews against other sticks. I dont have any loyalties, i test all sticks because I want the best. Seems people are pretty butt hurt this 450$ stick doesnt hold a candle to others.

      You do know I don’t base any review on sticks on my game? I can judge a sticks recoil vs hyperlite, trigger and Rekker and determine this stick is junk. I also then have tried every mid kick stick as well to compare those to it too and determine how this stick performs overall. If you have tried all of those sticks you would also be able to make such judgements. I have many mid kick sticks a bad review and I’m a mid kick stick guy so doesn’t make such sense your comment. Add In The fact most only try one or two sticks and have little to compare and yeah you may Think it’s good when standing alone. Throw in one more thing how everyone that goes and gets an Lxpro, ft4, ft5, or tMP says they couldn’t believe they were sleeping on those sticks and you have a pretty good rating system. You like it and it works bonus but If you picked up the sticks I rank higher back to back same ice session you would change your opinion all day

      trigger line seems to do everything well. Could be how low the kick point is etc, however when speaking with one of the guys at the store before I bought it, the guy said there is some massive differences in the px, 9x, 7x. So could be the px is just way to low and focused only on quick release but makes it a pretty limited stick as the odds you’re always getting a long wristers off full load is low. Appreciate the info

    • @beerleaguebumhockeyreviews
      @beerleaguebumhockeyreviews  2 года назад

      Well Bauer sticks are terrible right now. Sling, hyperlite, ultrasonic have been some of the worst releases in recent memory. The hzrdus I’m comparing to the two best low kick sticks in the Qr5 pro and trigger doesn’t compare. Both the latter sticks are capable of working for any shot where for whatever reason the hzrdus kick point is so low it’s completely unversatile for anything other than a dragging wrist shot. As soon as you ask the stick to recoil by hitting the ice snap/slap it completely loses power

    Opinions are like assholes. Everybody has one. I just bought this stick and while I can't speak to durability yet I absolutely love it. We can agree the price is out of control, but that is not unique to True. Dude, you're some random beer leaguer on the internet. Your opinion is no more valid than mine. I particularly like your first video where you talk about how unbiased you will be while wearing a Bauer shirt. And you buy all these sticks with your own money? Yeah right.

      you dont think I buy all these with my own money... interesting you are sorely mistaken. what a wierd comment how would I get all these for free, please enlighten me. I would have to do sponsored posts, have specific links, and have some sort of marketing somewhere by a company. How could that be possible for every brand? Add in the fact I completely shit on some products and you think I could do that if I was given it for free from companies? Use your head. I like bauer shirts.

    First of all TRUE doesn’t make sticks based off a beer leaguer’s specs , I love grip but a lot of players don’t. I have two Hzrdus px sticks, and they both are unbelievable. Just because it doesn’t work for you (blame yourself) doesn’t mean it’s a shit stick. You have to try the stick before you buy it. You just went with the marketing hype and bought it. Stick to low end sticks buddy!

    • @beerleaguebumhockeyreviews
      @beerleaguebumhockeyreviews  Год назад

      L.o.L triggered much. Retail sticks are for retail players so first statement wrong. They don’t make builds for pros that’s what customs are pro builds to their specs. Grip blows make a stick that doesn’t have grip and one grip then bam problem solved. Next I use every top end stick and compare them so you’re hilarious attempt at me sticking to low end sticks is funny because I can actually compare you cannot. Try the stick? Dude I bought this used it and laughed how bad it was compared to a trigger. If a stick review triggers you this much you have massive life problems

That price tag though, ouch 😣…. The most annoying thing for us is actually the advertising gimmicks companies seem to be using surrounding weight. Dang man, I’m sorry to hear the HZRDUS was such a disappointment for you. I absolutely love mine BUT… True really does have a massive quality control issue and I’m not speaking about durability. I’ve had 4 Project X’s (two pro stock 2-packs) and each pack had one absolutely killer stick while the other stick in the pack was so bad that in a blind test I would’ve thought it was a fake. The good stick would load so effortlessly and absolutely rocket the puck while the bad one would feel as if it was made with materials that weren’t meant to be in a hockey stick. I honestly don’t know how a company can have such polarizing reviews on their products, specifically sticks. At least CCM/Bauer can explain their hate by saying “well product X didn’t fit that customer” or “it’s a negative review from a BAUER/CCM fanboy” …but something is definitely off with True. Perhaps you might’ve been one of the unlucky bunch who got a dud.

    Now that I've been using this weekly as a beer leaguer...I couldn't disagree with this more. Puck feel of course is incredible as is with most True sticks, but I find this to be scary accurate. My snap shots feel fast, maybe slightly less pop than the trigger 6 I also regularly use, but I feel the handling, accuracy, and speed is better on this Hzrdous. I'm also heavily involved with fashion and design and i think this is one of the best designed sticks from a graphic standpoint.
    Also, I took a shooting class where I took a bunch of one timers in stride on the off wing and I really felt like the shot was deadly and easy to hit targets. I'm using the 9x to provide specifics to anyone curious

    Man i wish i would have seen this before i bought one. Worst stick i have used in years. Feel is horrible and the shot was just weird. I dont know how to describe it. I used it for 20 mins and had to go back to my rekker e1. Hoping someone will buy this piece of hot garbage from me.

I have and all those reviews are on my channel. So despite it having durability issues, no grip, terrible shot power, terrible blade feel and not actually weighing it’s marketed weight while also losing pop very quickly in testing, yeah it’s dog shit while Costing 450$ a stick that’s 200$ can do. Throw in the fact no pros actually use this build and my review stands pretty good over your practice you just had

    Beer League Bum hockey reviews, thanks for the video. I don`t play HZRDUS PX yet, but soon сan try 9X, 7X and 3X. And then PX.
    1. Weight. From True catalog
    *The stated weight of the stick is not intended to, and should not be relied upon to, calculate the actual weight of the stick. Variances may
    result in the actual weight of the stick for numerous reasons, including, and without limitation: manufacturing tolerances, the endcap weight,
    the length of the stick, the blade pattern and stiffness of the stick, performance considerations, cosmetics, packaging, any post-manufacturing
    modifications / additions (such as the grip, knob sticker, or consumer packaging), and/or other reasons.
    2. Grip for weight loss also i think.
    3. You like Alpha,Trigger 6 Pro and Sherwood Code, but its not a same, that HZRDUS
    Ribcor. Alpha, Code - it`s classic low kick point or mid-low. They are more versatile.
    Vapor, Covert, Rekker, HZRDUS - it`s ultralow kick point and all about quick release.
    If talking about True, A6.0 HT and A4.5 HT - first low kick stick from True and it`s mid-low like a AX series.
    in HZRDUS more dna Project X, which have ultralow kick point.

      Hey hey, I have followed you on instragm for a long time. Nice to hear from you. Always enjoy your content.
      I understand on the weight on variances, my issue with it is posting the 345 gram video when clearly they aren’t showing the whole stick or specs. If they say 345 it should take everything you just said into consideration. Or just say it’s 357 grams. Problem solved. I weighed a few since I have some friends at the store and not one of them was actually 345 grams, one was 365!. So why bother using it as marketing. It isn’t true.
      Yep I’m very versed in sticks, have used everyone high end stick that ever comes out, and although mid and low are very different in performance it’s the sticks ability to recoil and generate power on different shots that goes into my ratings. Not if I would use it or not. My gamer is specific to my shot style. Doesn’t mean I can’t tell a good stick from a bad stick. For example I like the ribcore but would never use it and not this because the ribcore as a low kick stick recoils on all shots enough to show puck velocity no matter the shot. The Px does not. The px doesn’t recoil for shot velocity well unless it’s a dragging wrist shot, which means it’s recoil isn’t set up well for energy transfer across the stick. Which means it wasn’t engineered well or put against other sticks to be like ok we missed something. In the end I test all sticks and understand what and how they should be used in real
      World situations. If I try and take a one timer and lose velocity because how a stick is built that means the sticks tech and ability is lacking. Hence the low rating on the px. If you want a good low kick stick that enhances your game no matter the situation the ribcore is it.

      @@beerleaguebumhockeyreviews, hey! Thank you for your feedback!🙂
      1. I agree. It is better to write the real weight. But all brands can be blamed for this. I have already stopped counting on official weight and wait when can weigh by myself.
      2. I came to the conclusion that the same flex point does not guarantee a similar game experience. Rather, it is necessary to look at the desired properties - weight, balance, shaft work and geometry, blade properties. Combination of this moments really help get a right choice. Therefore, it is always interesting to choose a new stick!
      I also try to watch your videos, it's interesting to compare my impressions on different models.👍
