There really _aren't_ many conservative young women in their 20s _who are married_ who are making really high-quality content like hers! And it's SUCH encouraging and affirming content for us married-young Christian conservative women out here! Also... my husband and I met on an app! 💯 agree about the apps. I tried dating apps at 3 different times in my life and only when I had learned what I wanted and learned how to communicate it and I was intentionally dating for marriage, was I able to meet my husband. I had met many wonderful men before him, but I didn't know what I wanted, and I wasn't open enough or ready to be with them or ready to make healthy relationship choices.

There is no such thing as a conservative woman. You are still pro women voting and probably think you're equal to your husband. You are not a conservative. You are a progressive feminist just to a lesser degree cause you know it will not attract the men you want to marry and divorce. Women don't have the capacity to love men as human beings. They only care about resources and status. This is why before the modern world women didn't have rights. Men built the modern world and women having rights are destroying it piece by piece.
As a man I’m aware of the previous lack of male role models and rise of more recently. I didn’t think of the lack of female role models but I’m happy for Brett to be that for the upcoming generation
The only thing I don’t like about this interview is that it wasn’t longer. Brett Cooper is an amazing young woman. I pray that many young girls in their teens will be inspired by her story, which is you don’t have to become your childhood traumas. God bless you, Brett ❤😊
I've known about most of Brett's history since she first started sharing her life stories in her off the clock segments on her channel but her bubbly personality makes it easy to forget how much she has been through at such a young age and hasn't allowed herself to become bitter and resentful. I'm about fifteen years her senior but it gives me hope that at least one woman as strong and mature as her is there setting an example for younger women about what it means to be an actual strong woman, which has nothing to do with l
This young lady absolutely oozes charisma. Such a sparkling personality, the camera just loves her, DW scored a huge hit scooping her up when she was still an undiscovered diamond in the wilderness.

While I'm not American, nor English in general, I was an English major in university, and I can tell you classics like the ones Brett mentioned, in particular Beowulf, were not just a must-read, but a determining factor in whether you pass your lit. courses or not. I still remember our professor almost drilling us on both the reading and understanding of these pieces. And this was primarily during the freshman year, when many students barely had any experience with classical literature in English. It was hell for many, but an obligatory study for all of us. It makes zero sense to me that Americans are no longer required to read these.
I loved English class and all of my English teachers, but I absolutely abhored Beowulf...it was a struggle that semester but I can say I am so much better for having those classes.
Yeah, I remember watching Brett for the first time and then she started talking about her family life and it was insane! What she's done and how she has let all of her experiences impact her yet grow in spite of them, is quite inspiring to me :)

@GGGGorilla That could be nice, though I personally enjoy more of her pop culture stuff. She's more interested in culture and trends and what principles or ideas can be pulled from that. I think she covered the debates and then the harris interviews because there's been a lot of buzz about it on social media.
42:33 when I was in high school and before, I never had anyone reaching out interested to me. I grew up with the mindset of be friendly and smile at people. You might be the only smile they get that day. I would smile and make eye contact to people when I passed and I didn’t know that was a cue to men of interest. I was so confused when people I had never spoken to would come up and flirt with me, and it made me uncomfortable and feel awkward. I stopped looking at people since I had no experience or many previous relationships to guys. There is a balance I definitely think.
I go back and forth on the issue of adult children living with their parents. I’m 34 and when I was growing up my mom was hard on us and strict. I’m grateful she pushed me and my siblings to get jobs. It taught us to be independent and responsible. However I do wish I could afford my own place but rent is too high these days. I recently moved back in with my parents after 8 years of living in LA during my 20’s . And even then I barely scraping by.
So I moved back in with my parents twice after Uni due to getting broke and so needing a place. I also made it clear I would be paying my rent to them, having my own life and wanted to move out as soon as I was financially stable. I actually argued twice to increase my rent payments. We all went in knowing it was a temporary solution and that I was aiming to get back on my feet. I moved out again 4 years ago and it has been good since. I live frugally but I got lucky deal on my flat as I moved in during Covid. All in all though the key was I had a plan to move out and worked towards it, even if it took me a couple of years each time.

First of all I loved the interview, I love both of you and you both had a very awesome honest conversation of where we are at in society. The biggest thing as a young man myself that is almost never spoken of is the disparity between men and women in social media, and I do think that is at the core of the dating disproportions. Most of my friends don't want to use dating apps (men and women) and those same friends get wildly different attention through Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat. It is literally not a who is at fault, its just too many man are giving endless attention to too many random women online and not getting their own life together, and too many women not realizing that they are getting free attention without any actual follow through, meaning you may need to be a bit more forward in today's dating market. Basically dating apps are dying and with social media being so insanely tilted towards women just getting more followers and attention we just won't see a market correction any time soon, it might be a long time before we see major changes imo.
1:08:00 When you guys were talking about "normal" and the healthier and more sound lifestyle that that meant, I couldn't help but think that that wasn't necessarily normal so much as the goal. It was always difficult to do and not achieved by many or even most, but it was normal to seek that. Now I would say that the very idea of seeking out a healthy, thought provoking and and truly comfortable life isn't even allowed to be pursued without backlash.
40:30 it's not a cope. There is so much evidence of the trigger happy need to oust online and run complaining. It's a clear awareness of a trend. Practical to weigh your options and the cost.
@tjbroussard3524 women record dates even to try and make men look bad. With edits and however they frame the narrative to push the issue that women have a right to be wary of men or that we're just terrible to be around.
The biggest reason why people “depend” on the government to take care of elderly family members is because women joined the workforce so they could not afford to stay at home later to take care of their parents.
The discussion around marrying too young always baffled me, in part cos my parents were 18 and 19 respectively (50 years next year) I mean I get the "you are young to really decide this" a bit. But people talk like getting married means your life is over. Literally the only thing you cannot do if you get married is date and sleep around. Thats it. Going to university? Totally doable. Travelling? Completely possible. Dream career? How does a wife stop that? Is it just that you have to think about another person when you are making those decisions? As my dad once said/quoted "I can't think of anything I have ever done that would have been better without your mother being there"
Brett how does it feel to be able to give a kind of guidance to young girls in areas you needed guidance in at the same age? How does it feel to be looked to as a role model for them?
@@conservative_bts_army6801 I think you can do it, the great thing about homeschooling is that how flexible and personalized it is. You make the curriculum/schedule. Brett mentioned that she got all her schoolwork done in 2 hours and then the rest of the day was doing other things. You could break up the work into smaller chunks and sprinkle other fun things in between. There are homeschooling groups you could join and get together with other parents to see how they do things and get support I think if you really want to, you can make it work:)

It’s the most beautiful thing I that has happened to me. We are home owners, we have our 3 Dogs. We are excited for everything in the future.
Life was crazy. I was poor from the city, but going to a school deep in the country because my mom worked there. I didn’t get a flip phone till I was in junior high and I didn’t buy my first smart phone until I was in high school. Nobody ever bought me a phone or a computer. I didn’t have a computer in my house and I didn’t know that that was a thing people did until I was in high school. I join Facebook a few years prior to high school. I’m 25 years old and I had a brother six years older than me and a brother three years younger than me, but none of that matter he kind of pulled us into a millennial childhood and a millennial mindset despite us being younger
Absolutely love her I was raised with good morals but absolutely no women to look up to. I’ve always been called opinionated bc my beliefs were always opposite to what was around me😅
@@Rinajungcassie because he knows. She doesnt love her husband. As she explained she looks at him as tool and to gain resources. Not as a man she respects or wants his leadership. It wasnt an emotional decision, it was a business decision
The question is asked… where are all the good men. Then I find myself asking… do I possess the qualities and character traits Brett said about her husband. Am I right now able to be a solid leader, a firm foundation (with Jesus as my cornerstone), to be a source of security and comfort while also knowing when it’s time to be tough, to take the opportunities to grow as they come. …..if I say no does that mean I’m not any of those things. …..if I say yes does that make it true that I am all of those things. I have not felt the intimate touch of a woman in 15 years. I’m tired of giving, risking, trying… and getting minimal effort in return from women. I don’t know how much longer I can go on before I just give up entirely.
Intersectionality is such a load of hogwash. So grateful I didn't have to deal with that in my college literature classes. Milton, Beowulf, and Shakespeare were all required reading, too! There are still a few good schools left.
Zuby. You don't get the fear of the "me too" accusations because you are good looking. You aren't an average guy. A guy who is actually average, or below average, runs a very real risk of catching a case because modern women are taught that being asked out by a man they aren't interested in, is SA. The difference between a man who is smooth and has game, and a man who is weird and a creep, is just whether or not the woman finds him attractive. The men can do and say the exact same thing in the exact same way, but if he's attractive it's OK, and if he's not attractive it's creepy or even some sort of assault. And no, it isn't because the guys are actually being creeps. Yes they exist, but they are the very small minority. It seems to be only very attractive men or older men who got married 15 years ago who don't understand this.
Exactly this. We've had women report the most innocuous things about male co-workers. Any man who doesn't fit their clique is someone they "don't feel safe" around. Sometimes women will openly talk very sexual around guys, but if the wrong guy chimes in with the wrong joke she's suddenly a blushing maiden and he's the horrible ogre.
I think having to check all the boxes for the Oscars is only 1/2 the problem. With or without it, there is no originality. How many Transformer, Fast and the Furious. or Iron Man movies can you take until they make something half decent?

@@littylit444 Uh, she did it because some of her personal opinions got out and she lost all her hosting gigs and potential hosting gigs. She started the social/political commentary because she made comments that were conservative and lost all her potential jobs. She would probably make more money and followers if she calmed some of her opinions down a bit, but she won't. I don't really watch Melonie anymore because she goes a bit overboard on some subjects, but those are tied to her faith. Pretty sure when she lost everything professionally she fell back on her religion, and got very devout. If men should date women 7 years or plus younger, then they should spect to stay single from 18 to 26 or so. But that’s the time to build ourselves too in every way
You know, what is ironic for me is that all of the guys that I have met in person and got asked out by ended up being total jerks or it was a disaster. The same goes for guys online, I met a lot of awful men online, but I have met multiple guys online that were actually nice guys, it just didn’t work out because we didn’t click. And that’s how I met my husband, we met through Fb dating. While I would rather have a more romantic story of how we met, it is also kind of a bummer that a lot of people look down on online dating. When people ask me how we met & I say fb dating some people seem to act like it’s weird or something so it just bums me out. I think online dating can be great if people do it the right way and actually take it seriously! The problem is people don’t. But of course if you can meet the one in person, definitely go that route!
23M. Me no like beer because it taste like piss. I don't mind hard liquor (vodka, tequila, etc.) but I just honestly don't like drinking. I will smoke mary jane occasionally
Is it really fair to say that dating apps are gamified? I feel like the opposite interpretation could be true as well, just as you can say the app gives you bad matches you stay on it, getting enough people to have no success with it is just as detrimental to it right?
Marriage is a Waste of time for Guys like myself, so much at risk via: Divorce, Financial Theft By Child Support Laws, Deprived Of Child Custody and several other Criminal Activities that are for whatever reason Legalized.
@@JaredAdams-v9q Jared no offense but this seems to be a cop out and a poor excuse. Men your father, grandfather, and great grandfather’s ages dealt with a whole hell of a lot more than you and they still managed to carry on, get married, have families, and build for their communities. Yes there are some issues that you listed. However there are things you can take responsibility for as a man. The majority of the women most likely engaging in the behavior you’ve listed are liberal. So rather than throw in the towel change how you date and vet women. Find women that have values. They’re out there. They won’t be at a club or a seedy place. Be a man. Stop making excuses. Unless you’re making the high six figures or your Elon Musk I don’t think you should use financial theft as an excuse.
30:50 - 31:11 For Brett not in the know, Gen Z (my generation) is the generation born between 1997 - 2012 so the age range is around 12 - 27
AHHH THIS IS AWESOME
A podcast with the gain at a reasonable level? Zuby for president.
Brett, God bless you. I'm sorry for the pain in your life. Thank you for showing us the Holy Spirit.
You both are awesome! 💜💜
The thing with kicking your kids out at 18 or making them pay rent is a very boomer thing.
Interesting how different the outcomes are for the boys and the girl from having a single mother.
I’m only 43 minutes in but I’m going the great conversations 👌🏾
She is just lovely.
My only criticism of this interview was the lip smacking but other than that really loved listening ❤
I don't recognize Brett without her white earmuffs
She’s so amazing
Need Amala and Misha next. The holy trinity of based ladies.
I love Brett ❤️
The biggest reason why people “depend” on the government to take care of elderly family members is because women joined the workforce so they could not afford to stay at home later to take care of their parents.
Brett Cooper is based for sure
The discussion around marrying too young always baffled me, in part cos my parents were 18 and 19 respectively (50 years next year)
I mean I get the "you are young to really decide this" a bit.
As my dad once said/quoted "I can't think of anything I have ever done that would have been better without your mother being there"
@@neodigremo that's awesome! And agree, with a supportive spouse, that's doable!
I do understand why Ben Shapiro loves her. She speaks even faster than Ben😂❤ I love Brett.
Brett is sharp 😊❤
Brett how does it feel to be able to give a kind of guidance to young girls in areas you needed guidance in at the same age? How does it feel to be looked to as a role model for them?
Good video
I’ve thought about homeschooling my kids but I have bad adhd so I don’t think I’d be able to keep up on it. Tho I think I’d love doing it.
There are homeschooling groups you could join and get together with other parents to see how they do things and get support
I think if you really want to, you can make it work:)
1:05:00 I got lucky, I went to college a few years before her when teachers were still thinking
Turning 22 on Friday, got married in April, currently wife is pregnant and expecting baby in April. God is our priority, so many of my friends think I ruined my life but man are they wrong.
I’ve always been called opinionated bc my beliefs were always opposite to what was around me😅
1:38:42 I know you cringed when she said “partner”, Zuby😂
@@Jayar_ sadly, that's All her generation knows.....it's honestly not her fault.
@@Jayar_ yh brett just your normal modern girl. She just sees her man as a tool. Shes not in his frame. I give it 3 years
O
why he would cringed tho? i dont understand.
@@Rinajungcassie because he knows. She doesnt love her husband. As she explained she looks at him as tool and to gain resources. Not as a man she respects or wants his leadership. It wasnt an emotional decision, it was a business decision
1:06 “See you here in (Nasheville or Asheville?)
I'm only here for Brett. She's my best friend 😍🥰.
I love her!!!!
Yes exactly. There are so many untold stories out there and historical movies that can be made. It is a shame that there are only reruns now.
You should get Melonie Mac on here
Nah, she's way too self-righteous, and I doubt Zuby has ever played a video game in his life.
@@305Independent All the more reason to get her on. Zuby could use a good introduction to the most sophisticated and complex form of entertainment (so far)
@@paradisecityX0 Hell no..... Melonie is a sellout. She tries too hard to get into the whole rightwing social circle and isn't a genuine conservative. I've been a follower of hers ever since the old days when she was in the gaming industry. The only reason why she changed to rightwing topics is to grift and because she's lost her appeal with gamers.
@littylit444 Her appeal with gamers is pretty high. Yeah l know the right-leaning sentiment is kinda grifty but she's genuine in her faith
That's probably what makes her seem like she "tires to hard", since she's a bit over the top on anything related to faith.
Bring on Andrew Wilson

I'm at 150%. 1x is just too slow.
Why are younger people like this? How do you talk to each other in real life?

If men should date women 7 years or plus younger, then they should spect to stay single from 18 to 26 or so. But that’s the time to build ourselves too in every way
Brett Cooper, her producer Reagan, and Amala Ekpunobi give me hope for Gen Z.
👍
I believe Gen Alpha is from late 2010 to 2024, to give you the general age range💗 So 14 at the most, which is insane that they are already that old.
What about church groups?

Is it really fair to say that dating apps are gamified? I feel like the opposite interpretation could be true as well, just as you can say the app gives you bad matches you stay on it, getting enough people to have no success with it is just as detrimental to it right?
She looks cute here than on her show 😂
Marriage is a Waste of time for Guys like myself, so much at risk via: Divorce, Financial Theft By Child Support Laws, Deprived Of Child Custody and several other Criminal Activities that are for whatever reason Legalized.
Go to church, go to a bookstore, get a hobby, change up your hobbies and your friend group. That’s a more solid plan that having a defeatist attitude.
