Boston, Mitchell and Smith will probably have historic seasons because of all of the wide open shots and layups she's feeding them. They are the fantastic 4; CC, AB, Mitchell (Kyrie Irving) and my girl Smith. Think this game just showed them that Lexie Hull can be that 5th player starting role for them to give the defense they need, plus she can hit the 3 and make layups making her a good player for that role over Katie Lou who isn’t quite yet at her full potential since giving birth so it’s still hit and miss and should play just as a bench back up role, same goes for Temi, Dantas. Wheeler should only be playing when Clark is off the floor and Wallace as little minutes as possible. Coach needs to decide if she is going to start developing Grace because she could easily be a backup point guard or at least a good backup for a PG while Clark isn’t playing but she needs to be developed but isn’t going to happen if she never sees the floor. Same goes now as well for Victoria who has been riding the bench. If she is never going to play she should be let go so she can play for a team that will develop and play her instead of letting her rot at the end of the bench and that just there for her friendships with AB.

    The first eight games for Indiana were not good. The team was still focus on Boston while on the floor as their leader and offensive power. When Boston started to look to CC to feed her the ball by playing back to the basket and eyes on Caitlin things started to change for Indiana and Caitlin too. Caitlin is the leader on the floor in the way Magic was and Jokic is today. More and more she is playing a pass first game, drawing her team mate into scoring position, which also give her more open looks as the defense needs to start playing her straight up instead of doubling on her. Let the haters hate. As long as they don't break her, Clark is going reek havoc on the WNBA for the next decade.

    Truly a MAJOR improvement for the WNBA, so scrambled with silly players that don't even know their nature and act as ignorant gang bullies or stupid street scum. An abomination / aberration type of player that mars the sport and spills such a detriment in front of so many young people. Hence, again, the difference that a player like CC makes to clean up the WNBA act, creating a hope for a real role model, especially for the kids and fans in general. MAJOR impact.

    This is an awesome video and I'm watching the WNBA due to the college finals and the rookies coming in, especially Caitlin. Just a suggestion though, no person is a "one person team". The whole idea of a triple double being so great is one person can be a team enabler, bringing everyone up. As a Denver fan, that has been the joy of watching Nikola, and the entire team prospering from his abilities. My apologies if I seem hyperbolic, but it's a great thing to experience the "attitude's" of players like Caitlin and Nikola. Fierce competitors who bring the team up. To me, the statement: a one person team, infers the rest of the team is not worth noting. I'm sure both of these competitors are thankful for the work and relationships of their teammates. That said, it's great to be a new WNBA fan, and to watch a lot of the games, in addition to the Fever. The over all game of basketball is going to be richer for the many events/improvements you listed here.

The woman on her the first half just couldn't handle her, but L-H did a great job. CC managed to finally get a little going against her well into that half, but when CC learns how to get around great defense like that, she'll be even better. Also, gotta wonder what CC's season numbers would look like if the Fever hadn't started out with 11 games in 20 days. Had no time to develop timing with her teammates. So much better now!

  • @philip6927
    @philip6927 Месяц назад

    Caitlin's great court IQ and ability to see the entire court, like a chess grandmaster can see the chessboard, will help her shotmaking. Her pinpoint passing is getting her teammates to hustle down the court and get open more, knowing that the reward will come when Caitlin hits them with the pass. As her teammates score more, opponents can't double team and triple team her. If she gets any opening she can let fly. It's win/win/win. CC/teammates/team will win.
    Caitlin is such a smart, generous team leader. Her teammates are realizing that CC is giving up the opportunity to take a shot, to set up her teammates to go for it.

    I've never been a basketball fan but Caitlin has me glued to the screen when she's playing.

    I am not saying this as a sleight to anyone else. I honestly wouldn't know an of these other ladies if it wasn't for Caitlin. Not only her ball skills, but the grace and humility she approaches everything with. True professional.

    What is impressive is how she excels at every aspect of the game. She is a complete player and just comprehends and plays faster than everybody else, which in turn makes her two steps ahead of everyone. She sees plays before they develop. She understands spacing and passing angles and positioning. This is the stuff that most fans don't notice or acknowledge. She's just different. Refreshing!

    Basketball is a team sport Caitlin Clark is amazing and her game is probably going to get better for as long as she puts in the time and effort but they are winning because they are playing together and everyone is upping their game

    I know Clark is prime time, but I have noticed Boston and the other players have stepped their game up too. I mean Clark’s assists are points being scored by other teammates. At first, I really wasn’t paying attention to anyone but Clark in the highlights I watch, but I think Clark’s bringing the best out of all of them. Like many of you, this is the first time I’ve watched the WNBA, and watching highlights has made me realize there are some damn good players in that league. That makes Clark’s development all the more impressive. Magic made a good point, he said she’s not the best in the league right now, but she’ll get there soon enough. I had never heard of Caitlin Clark a few months ago..now she’s my favorite professional athlete. Go figure! 😅

    Caitlan has been nothing but respectful to her haters. And Ionescu was very respectful to Caitlan after the Fever win. It seems that many observers are going out of the way to drag Caitlan into the very ugly manners that she has been suffering. But, even that seems to be abating during the latest games. I detect the force of the WMBA commissioner in this by his pointing out how the whole league is benefitting by the attentions that Caitlan is receiving, including the other players.

    A good way to always win at basketball is to congratulate other players and cheer on great plays. When you cheer on someone then you rise up with them when they win.
    It's when you learn to say good play and really mean it because it was and you like that move that you win too. It's more for the love of the game.
    And if you know deep down inside that you did your best then that's a win too.
    And when you can live this way in life then you truly love yourself find yourself until then you're upset about something that you can't be and that's too bad.
