I am a fan of basketball, as well as one who was once much better than average on the court. Caitlin's breaking records in only her first year shows it is you (not the gentleman from a city I once lived in) who cannot see greatness unfolding. That you cannot see what the vast majority hails means you are either biased against her for some reason, or you know little of the sport. And, please do not tell me you said she was a marvelous player - backhanded compliments are not compliments, at all. In your attempt to slap the person from Amsterdam down, you look asurdly petty.

@@dansavoie5087 Stats would disagree. It goes both ways though. According to some stats Lebron is better than MJ, but 9/10 would prefer MJ any day of the week. Attitudes matter and are what make a team. You can be an all-star, but if you're a dick then no one wants to play with you or watch you. I think the #'s increasing says more about the girls who don't like CC more than it does CC (since the stats speak for themselves). There were many decent players, in manner of speaking, but they weren't fun to watch. When CC busts a layup, it is fast and accurate. Any good player can appreciate that. Being humble and admitting that there are better players out there goes a long way too.

She was player of the year in college and first pick of the draft but so was her teammate Aliyah Boston the year before. I believe CC will win Rookie of the Year
but so did Aliyah Boston the year before. The two top stars from college past two years and the Indiana Fever still has a losing record. But they will make the playoffs. That's one female B-ball player who won't need an agent. She just needs to find the salary of the highest paid player and negotiate for theirs plus the difference between that and the second highest.

One thing I see more and more each game I watch is the things refs aren’t calling. (TRAVELING). Come on refs do your darn job. 8, 9, 10 times a game. Ridiculous.

It's not hype!! Caitlin is so good, people are wondering how she's so much better than the veteran WNBA players. Caitlin Clark is doing for the WNBA what Taylor Swift (and her boyfriend) has done for the NFL. SELLING TICKETS, GETTING NEW FANS....
