I wonder if some of it is that it goes against your natural instincts and perceptions. But they want us to swallow hard and fully accept that this is normal and natural.

Definitions are always problematic. As you say the dictionary defines female as 'denoting the sex that can bear offspring', yet this in itself arguably excludes of lot of those people around you who you would regard as 'women' as they find themselves unable to do so for reasons of biology.
I'm from Thailand we have many transwomen/lady boy here. They never call themselves women. That's why I'm okay here but seeing the west it's the total opposite.

I hate to throw more confusion into the mix, but the terms, even for rational people who acknowledge that there are only two genders, are deeply flawed and already cause confusion - even without the benefit of deluded leftists throwing made-up identities into the mix. My main point is that "female" and "woman" has been used interchangeably to the detriment of clarity for as long as I can remember. The way that I personally define those terms (and that I try to always keep in mind when speaking or writing) is that female = the definition for female that Rebecca showed in this clip. However, I define "woman" as a concept - one that represents the long established hallmarks of womanhood, such as femininity, traditional values, a nurturing nature, having and raising children, etc. In my view "women" are of course females as well, but the word is defining the characteristics and ideals of womanhood rather than biological gender. In other words, if you hate traditional social roles, roll your eyes at the thought of child rearing, and/or think that males should be subservient, walking wallets, then you're not a woman.
At any rate, leftist wokies are aggressively redefining terms and altering language in order to alter thought and to dismantle a rational status quo. Normal people and we woke-adverse types need to start moving on our own push. We need to start reaching consensus on terms, and maybe create new words if necessary that re-affirm inherent truths and/or long-held values.
As Rebecca covered, the situation with sex, gender, etc. is already completely convoluted to the point where leftists don't even have consensus with each other. The normal non-woke side needs to seize the opportunity to have consensus from our side - this will give us a big advantage in terms of public discourse and staying on topic in debate and providing clarity amongst us.

i would have to disagree on one point. you claim "woman" doesn't specify sex as female does. this is incorrect. the word woman merely adds an additional requriement in order to fulfill that of "being an adult" similar to girl in addition of denoting being of female sex denotes being "not an adult". you did also use the similar opposing word "man" in that way "the organization is still led by a man" denoting that the owner is male and an adult.
