ohhh dear, this was a job and a half, the toilet was fitted like something you would find in a shed, come on these people paid good money and the aesthetics where terrible.
setting aside the way the water was piped, the 4" soil had zero fall. This install is not fit for purpose.
I am quoting to fit a macerator to pump the sewage to the outside.
That was really interesting Tony. I like the way you work, never fazed, just get the job done. Well nearly! Look forward to part 2. Thanks.
Thanks 👍
Tony
In all my days of plumbing, I've never seen a pipe so compacted with toilet paper. Wow!
Yes that was sureal mate
Tony that just shows you how important fall in a drain pipe is , never expected to see that , tim from good old west virgina , us.
Shocking isn't it
Nice change of pace Tony! That pipe was crazy! Definitely needs help soon!
Cheers mate
Hi Tony(s). Nice neat job. I changed all the taps in a friend's house for more modern type. Started in bathroom. Isolated HW in airing cupboard. ( not a combi) . Sent him off to change some taps for a low pressure type. Turned cold water off at mains and drained downstairs. Cold never stopped in bath taps or vanity unit 😳 . Went in loft and found huge header tank with several outputs. Had to tie up float valve and wait half hour for cold to stop in bath taps. Then had to vac head of water in cold taps . What a game. Told his wife not to fill her night cup of water from bathroom taps. They were the only cold taps fed from the loft tank !!,
Can see that whole scenario mate, bloody worrying to think people have been drinking it.
2 cups of tea and chocolate hob nobs, I think you hit the jackpot with this one, lol. I get the Lidl's own chocolate hobnobs, only about 77p for a 300g pack, and taste really good. Certainly a great deal of unclogging to be done on this one so will be looking forward to seeing that get done on the next gripping instalment. Could do with a bit of plastering and filling on the hole left next to the pan, but I'm sure you'll be sorting it out for the nice lady.
Cheers mate, we also got a lovely bacon batch 👍
JG Speedfit...can't beat them Tony....best plastic fittings on the market...work first time, every time and you don't need a demount tool.
Tried and tested arnt they Howard. Never had a problem.
Wow that pipe was a shocker 😮
Great job as usual lads 👌can’t wait for the follow up.
Wow Tony very nice work on the the water lines. Can't wait for part two toilet paper removal from the drain. Keep up the good work i enjoyed it
Cheers mate
Wow can’t wait for part two,so very interesting Thank you🌺🍍🌴🇺🇸✝️🇬🇧🤙🏽
Glad you enjoyed it thank you Margaret 😊 🙏
See that original plumbing Tony? That was either a job and knock.on a Friday...or...some clown who didn't think things through beforehand and couldn't be bothered to change things around. Damn good job putting it right.
Cheers mate, I think they had no idea.
Yes Tony, you are right Scooby Doo and Scrappy Doo, 💜
Thanks Catherine
Keep Tony on every job, good job boys 👌
Cheers
Great vid this very informative
Cheers
Just curious to know if you have Sharkbite plumbing fittings in the UK ? I've been using them for years in Canada and they are amazing. Push on , no solder, no Compression nuts, and best of all no leaks, Ever ! They aren't cheap ,but save hours of messing around on little re-fit jobs like this one.
Hi mate, I have heard of them but not sure if available here. I think the ones I used are on the same lines, they have a seated metal washer that holds the. In place.

Wow wow wow L T!
You be careful........Nearly bitten your fingers off eating that Hobnob 😂😂
😄😄😄
I’m surprised you didn’t install a shutoff below the toilet as you were in there. Can be very useful in an emergency.
I did
Ahh yes, I see that now. I spoke too soon! 😊
@garethgoodchild2643 yes but u was right to say its a good idea mate
U should of gone to spec savers 😂
Very good looks like you deserve a holiday
Cheers mate 👍
Hi Tony x2, I really enjoyed learning and watching this. Oh my goodness. So much paper..Is that 1 of the new toilets with the little to no water used to flush? I think they are useless. You need a good flush of water to push everything along. I took my half button off my toilet..Hope there is a part 2 to this video.. Stay Safe have a great weekend from a Tassie Fan ❤️🙏👍🤗
Hi Cheryle thanks for your question, the main problem here is that the 110mm pipe is not laid to fall, it's acting more like a collection pipe.
@@drain-unblocker Thank you 👍
Evening Tony
Hi mate
The name is Wright your giving your age away😊😊 I'm up there in age watch them when I was a kid
If the soil pipe was installed by the same person who piped the cistern anything could happen.
Never have a good fall on running 100m pipes under floor, ceilings see it many times not enough room to get a good fall, part 2 should be entertaining, good job Scooby scrappy Doo🤣🤣🤣
Cheers mate 👍
All those fittings, better to just use a pipe bender and pull the bends.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yep there is a Scrappy Doo 😮
1979 he was created by
A lovely Hanna-Barbera productions 😂

Greetings from Germany. Found out about Yorkshire Tea on a travel to the UK, having to import it ever since. (We get Twinings here but well….) Still haven’t decided if I like Original or Gold better. Nice job fixing that mess!
Hi Niki thanks and hello Germany 🇩🇪
Saniflo!
What pipe was that which clogged up with toilet paper? And can I ask Tony why don't you use the Picote on many jobs,I thought there would of been a good couple of opportunities to use it on this job, 1, downwards from top of stack, 2, from manhole up the stack if worm wouldn't climb .
Hi Steve, problem with this job is the pipe running alongside and between the joists has zero fall so the picote will cut it up ok but it's just thick mashed up bog paper, coagulant which has no flow. Somehow we need to get a plunger in and push it out. Time to fit a macerator.
Wtf thought young tony was in traning 😛 NO HOBB NOBBS 😛 Old tony can scoff the goddies 😛
I was lucky I turned around there was 4 on that plate lol
Tony, no escutcheon plate against the wall??? Hope you patched that monster hole, but I'm sure you did.
Pipe was hidden from view so no cover plate, cold supply so when it's filled and re painted, no expansion. Yes the job is on going I think I will be fitting a macerator
get back to a 6- 10 litre flush guys
Your right enough Tony scrappy do was the puppy 🏴🏴John W
Cheers John 🍻
What is the correct drop for a drain pipe ? One inch every three to four foot length ?
Hi 1:40 so 1 inch to 40 inches. To be fair there's no way they could get it to work over the distance they covered (8 meters)
My dear Lord...that is one bad installation...no one bothered to work the falls out on that one eh?
Yup for sure
Happy day's ❤
