10:40 The best line of dialogue from Clone Wars in my opinion. "Ahsoka it's all of us. The entire Grand Army of the Republic has been ordered to hunt down and destroy the Jedi Knights."
It it figuratively and literally the biggest impact in all of Star Wars. The order, the feels, the ship, and finally the conclusion. The republic is dead, and the clone wars are finished. *Long live the empire*
Also, can I say that in the scene where Ahsoka defends from all of the blaster shots around her while she's on top of the navigation panel, not ONCE while she's redirecting the blasters were the cameras ever eye level or above her. She was always above the camera, which, as a reminder, is a cinema technique to showcase power and magnitude in a character. However, her expressions were tense, pained, shocked, and her actions were rushed. Even while she's surrounded by soldiers who want to murder her, she was always in power over them. At any point, she could cut them all down; however, she's also trying so desperately not to kill them because she sees them as family. It's such a short but sweet showcase of Ahsoka's restraint of power SOLELY through the use of camera technique. Literally incredible
In case you didn't know already: Disney took over Star Wars in 2013 (I think) and cancelled this show after its 5th season. The show's creators were able to release the remaining episodes, which they had already finished, on Netflix, so these episodes became CW season 6. That's also the reason why season 6 only has 13 episodes and not 20 or more, because they were cancelled mid-production. Dave and his team finished 12 out of the (about) 52 unfinished Clone Wars episodes in season 7, but there still exist (around) 40 unfinished episodes aka 10 unfinished arcs to this day. The scripts of the 40 still unfinished episodes were already finished, as far as I know. You can look up these stories which we still could have gotten before the finale of season 7. I really hope that they will finish more of or all of the 10 arcs/ 40 unfinished CW episodes and release them on screen, one day. We would have seen on screen what happened with Maul and Sidious, Mother Talzin and with Ventress after the season 5 finale, for example, not "just" in comic or book form. We would have also seen more of the affects that Ahsoka leaving had on Anakin and even a very short encounter between Sidious and Ahsoka.
There is SO much more clone wars that could have been and never was ;(. It's actually incredible to think of what could have been if Dave and the team could have finished!
@@ItsCappyReacts Indeed. There was supposed to be an episode that showcased why the Jedi were clouded by the dark side. Apparently the Jedi temple was built on top of a Sith temple, and Palpatine would go down there to practice Sith sorcery. And Ahsoka finds it and battles him. Would be have been awesome if it was produced. That and a ton of other episodes
Something to be mentioned here is that some of these Episodes were meant to teaser plotpoints that are now part of Legends (the old canon). I dont know how far in production they were but they at least had concept arts for the Yuzahng Vong (The main atagnoist of a 19 novel long 5-year war) in legends that starts 20 years after Endor. Giving that this doenst work at all anymore you can say some of these Idea are no longer pheasable.
The music is Anakin's Dark Deeds, which makes it even more emotional as the clones are now attacking Ahsoka as a result of what Anakin has become. woof
No it was I'm so sorry Which in my opinion kind of shows that rex doesn't want to do this which we saw, and he's so sorry for trying to kill ahsoka but he can't stop Not until the chip is out
I did not watch TCW for a long time, only after my mum (my last parent to leave forever) dies in 2020. I could not bring myself to watch the whole series in one go. During the final episodes, knowing exactly what was finally going to happen, I cried so hard. I just went through the loss of my family (my dad passed away in 2018), and now Ahsoka watching loosing her family was just too much. But it also was somewhat therapeutic.
2 points i wanna make. 1. Watching Rex receive order 66 and struggling and failing to fight it was heartbreaking. You could tell he was willing himself not to do it but the chip took over. 2. The last few episodes really showed how powerful Maul was, outside his lightsaber abilities which were apparent since A Phantom Menace. He completely figured out Sidious' plan despite being removed from the sith for over a decade, and only ever being treated as an assassin with no true trust being placed in him by Sidious. He also sensed that Order 66 was about to happen, before the order was given. Not even Yoda felt it coming, he only knew something was awry once he sensed the death of his fellow Jedi. There were very few Jedi at the time that had a deep enough connection with the force to have premonitions like Maul did. Yoda, Anakin and previously Qui-Gon Jinn are the only ones that come to mind.
I will probably never get over this ending. Even knowing what's coming, it's so, so devastating. And it adds even more depth to Ahsoka and Vader's showdown in Rebels. Ahsoka really was the person who came the closest to saving Anakin, but I like to believe that she helped enough for Luke to be able to, even if he was the only one who could truly bring Anakin back. But just seeing Vader stare at the lightsaber. . . it's awful and amazing. Also, for anyone who didn't notice - there's an owl flying around in the final scene. That specific owl is a representation of The Daughter, and is seen around Ahsoka due to her connection with The Daughter. To me it's just the nail in the (my) coffin of emotions for the symbolism.
Also as I remember most clone commanders recieved the Order 66 through messages but some specific commanders recieved direct orders from palps via transmitions like Cody/The ones with Yoda and Rex in this case. I think these special orders were made for key characters sidious saw as the most valuable threats to his ultimate rise. So its very interesting to think about how Rex recieved a live briefing from sidious and even intuitively called him by that name to kill probably both ahsoka and maul. So sidious was aware of ahsoka capturing maul and both force users heading back to coruscant and ahsoka, obviously was an essential must kill cause of anakins downfall and I guess palpatine knew how much of a threat maul could be so he was also appointed to be killed even as a dark side user
I wouldn't mind seeing Bo Katan in the Ahsoka show I would have preferred if they finished the clonewars before starting starwars rebels as you would feel more tensed up by not being sure who lives and who dies. The mustafar music is also known as anakins dark deeds 5:16 Also when you see the shot of the venator star destroyer crashing symbolises the fall of the Republic where as the Y-wing flying away symbolises the eventual rise of the rebellion. And the closeup of Vader's mask you can just make out his eyes and they don't seem to be sith red and yellow but blue as if holding Ahsokas lightsaber brought him back even for just a moment.
You should react to the tribute video "Ahsoka Tano: Faith". It's absolutely amazing. If this episode arc gave you chills, this tribute video will make you shiver to the bone.
“I’m sorry, citizen!” This is further proof that Mace Windu is the worst Jedi. He’s arrogant, makes dumb decisions and thinks he’s smarter than he actually is. Hell, even Jar Jar is more competent than him.
Hello just finished watching the Final season for the first time, late Monday night. Wow what a series! I loved it all. But that last scene, has me sad. That Ashoka didn't get to see Anakin once more before he changed. I felt like a part of me died in that final scene. Just so many emotions. I just started to watch The Rebels, also for the first time! That's also good show. Thanks for sharing this video 😊
Ok so I'm weeks late but to explain The clone who had his chip malfunction was Tup in late season 5 or early season 6 Five was the clone Rex was talking about as Fives was the clobe who found it. Also he's the second to last member of Domino squad who's left. However. Before he could tell anyone Fox killed Fives I'm new here so if you already know this sorry😅
The clones were discarded after order 66 you can see this in the bad batch series which starts at the moment that order 66 happens. Good show to watch especially the first episode of the show is like clone wars season 7 episode 11,5 in the feels...
Order 66 : “Fearless Three Fight !” Zack.F Reran : “You Sure we need to fight the-Gets shot-“ Kai.F Reran : No Zack ! -gets shot in the leg- “ Kale.F reran the guy that who said something first : no !! -Gets Shot- “ Kai.F Reran : no………..
No matter how many times I see it, these two episodes always make me cry. They also make me dislike the Jedi a little more. As much as the other jedi talked about the clones like they were people, in the end Ashoka was the only one that refused to kill the clones because she knew it was wrong.
8:20 So, we've already seen Maul redirect blaster shots. I think that he is using that to redirect the shots from hitting him The reason he uses a shield is because its just easier and less shots to redirect My headcanon at least. Otherwise its lore inconsistent
Unless you read the books, you wouldn’t know who’s the new Cpt of the 501st. You actually see Cpt Appo in EP3, he’s the clone that gets slashed in the chest by the padawan….doesn’t die tho
Stop talking and let the episode play. You can comment before / after but it’s like sitting in a room with the ‘’chatty’ pain in da’ ass viewer - ENOUGH!
Appreciate the feedback! However I'm reacting to this in my natural way of watching shows/movies and I like to be very analytical of them. If that's not your cup of tea I totally understand and respect that! But I'll keep striving to better my content in my own way :)
The clone wars started with Anakin, and it ended with Vader
No it started with yoda

Ahsoka: uses the force on the shuttle
Cappy: compares it to Rey instead of Starkiller
Me: Filth, you will pay for your insolence
16:22 that’s an insult to ahsoka. Not only did doing this put a good deal of strain on ahsoka but it also required Rex to keep her balanced.
Don’t ever compare my girl Ashoka Tano to stinky Rey
16:18
You did not just call ahsoka… rey…
Truly some of the best Star Wars content is from TCW. This final season just felt like a love letter to the fans, and I couldn't be happier with it.
Satine is no longer Deathwatch, while Rook. the female Maul supporter becomes the Armorer in the Mandalorian ( theory)
