An aside... My friends and I created 'Parkour' in NYC. At the time, we did not know it. (We didn't have a name for it. True story.) Oh my gosh I did something almost similar. I work at a vet clinic and after we euthanize a pet we sign a sympathy card and send it to the owner. Well, on the same day as a euth., my coworker was talking about sending out her graduation cards soon and in the midst of talking about her graduation, I completely boggled my sympathy card note and wrote "Congratulations! You'll go far in life!" forgetting this is a sympathy card and NOT a graduation card. But thankfully I wasn't the last person to sign it and someone caught it and came up to me and asked "Are you sure you want to/meant to write this..?" I would have felt SO horrible had that gotten sent.

It's not all puppies and kittens as many people think. You have to be strong enough to handle and restrain large powerful dogs, get blood from pissed off angry cats, you get pooed on and peed on all the time, you get bit and scratched by scared animals. And I make less money than my local grocery store bagger after enduring all that. However, you get to help save innocent animals' lives so it's hard to beat that great feeling.
