Thanks again for showing the work that is done by courageous CID teams around Johannesburg, it shows that we dont need to run away from our country, but stay put and make it great and better. Thanks again David for your good work, keep going strong my brother.

In all your videos, this is the best video that directly talk to me. It shows that simple activities and involvement of ordinary community, can make a huge difference. If we wait for government, we will leave in an undesirable environment. Thank you for this video and I wish it can be seen by as many communities as possible. I love this community.

Great video! Along with all your others ones on CID's in Johannesburg.
As a comment, I believe it shows how we cannot rely on big, centralised governments. They tax people and businesses to the hilt, but give very little in return.
Bringing development back to the local level, is not just a great move, but it necessary to survival. Not just in Joburg, but other cities around the world.

Bravo! I have heard that there is some similar effort going on in Springs initiated by their new mayor coincidently also a white woman I hope that other community leaders from all races follow this example However for this to happen the corruption of the ANC has to be voted out of the Cities ( or they have to change from within)

Is it possible for normal residents to be part of these CID projects, this is such an amazing initiative that I'd encourage people to join🙂

Oh gosh!I have so many questions for her! 1) What are the challenges that women face when they're trying to head up a project like this?
Thanks for such a thought=provoking interview!

Clayton's point about how the new families are integrating into the community is very interesting,This is not always the case in CBD areas. I believe that this sense of integration and belonging has helped to keep it cleaner than other CBDs

I've got a question which I would love to ask Clayton and other members of the CID. How have loadshedding and the water cuts impacted on the progress of their plans? and 2) How have they impacted the businesses in the area?

@@Livinginsatv Any information on CID's in Johannesburg would be appreciated, such as names, locations, maps, both existing and proposed. We have a vested interest in Joburg and want it to survive and prosper.

don't say it is goverment building it is private bissiness

  • @keletsoify

Again if we try to address the issues of drag infested areas we are labeled xenopho. My only plea is for these people doing wrong things in our country, go back to their countries and allow us to rebuild. Gov. also is to blame for this as many areas were left unattended and South Africans end up leaving those spaces for foreigners.

Do you what she’s doing exactly this here my friend is the right way we fix our country along with proper government leadership not by hooliganisms and criminality being masked as a good thing in the name of chasing foreigners away.
