I am buying a new car and as part of the process was getting the insurance done. The dealer mentioned NCB as zero. After watching this video i got to know that i can transfer my NCB from old car to new. Based on whixh inhave asked them to do it. By doing this i have got 45% NCB accumulated from old car which i sold earlier this year. This was an excellent point explained in detail in this podcast which has opened my eyes. Thanks for getting this covered fantastically by the expert.
This is the best Moto cast team. Very minute and well prepared questions, that covered all aspects about insurance. And answers are well explained in detail. Kudos to Cover Nest CEO 👍. 1000 hugs and wishes moto team 👏 for this beautiful contend. Thanks team 🙏🙂
🤍💚🤗
The speaker was brilliant and on point while explaining each and everything. It would have been complete if he had mentioned about a few more things like:
1. Policy excess
2. Key replacement
3. Return to invoice
4. Road tax coverage
5. Premium loading for high risk customers
This was a great episode sir. Covered most of our doubts on Car insurance. Thank you so much for the effort to both Motowagon and CoverNest:)👍
As usual a great video. More informative.
Just one correction.
@ 41:20: While discussing about health insurance from two insurers, we can claim from one insurer first and if the insured amount is exhausted, we can go ahead and claim from second insurer for the rest of the amount. In real life example, insurance specialists press to have personal health insurance even if we have company group health insurance to have max coverage.
I think same will apply for motor insurance claim also.
Fantastic podcast, very informative one. My vehicle OD is expiring next month and ended up with motowagon podcast. Mr.Rajasekaran thanks for sharing your valuables knowledge with us. My entire idea about insurance industry have changed after watching this. Thanks Motowagon 😊

Asir Anna asking question (common man doubts) thank you so much
Very clearly explained sir, CoverNest is the right competitor of POLICYBAZAAR. Very good solo achievement by CoverNest MD
Even if you sell the car you can transfer the NCB TO new vehical
மிக முக்கியமான விசயம் அருமையான வேலை...... வாழ்த்துக்கள்
Rajasekar anna Excellent clarification about motor Insurance... super
Thoroughly educative, well done; he has good knowledge about insurance, thanks.
Great Content!
Few Questions.
1. Will NCB be applicable for a transfer even when I purchase a used vehicle as a secondary vehicle?
2. Return to Invoice was not covered. Kindly help clarify on how useful it is.
3. How long can we have a Bumper to Bumper insurance
No NCB is non tranferable if you transfer insurance to your name old NCB will void so your insurance NCB will become 0% and bumber to bumber or no depreciation policies can be avilled for maximium two year (previously some insurer have 3yr)
*these info are gathered from my knowledge
@@grmconstruction419 Thanks for the response. But I'm asking in terms of continuation. Let's say that I already have a car and have an NCB of 50%. Here they spoke about availing NCB benefits for a new car. I asking if it's applicable even if I buy a used car as my secondary car. I understand it's a change of ownership, however this is not my first car and i already have a good track record in my existing car with zero claims
@@ragz89 in my case even i have good ncb value in previous car the insurence company rejects to provide it
Lets say you have a car which is 2 years old, Incase of total loss (which means totally damaged during any accident), or car theft the usual own damage insurance covers only the current IDV of the vehicle, excluding the road tax. If you have RTI (Return to Invoice) you can get totala invoiced amount. (Including the road tax). So that you can purchase the new vehicle without extra cost.
The condition is RTI applicable only for the car which is less than 3 years old.

Wonderful video... By MotoBeam team ...
We missed 1 more question, I have a Car which is 16 years old , renewed RC for next 5years , but the Insurance company don't have a policy to cover my own damage or owner , Only we are restricted to take 3rd party coverage. I think this is not good , if some one make a clarification here it will be great.
The worst thing is I faced terrible accident after renewal of RC as there is only a 3rd party coverage. I paid all the amount from my account. During the past 15 years I have claimed insurance only once .
All the best to cover nest…..actually it is cover best he covered all….kudos to MW 🎉team
End of the day.. It is WIN WIN for Insurance Company
Informative and we'll explained thank you sir
clear explanation. I got the information needed
Thank you so much.. wonderful and very useful.. keep this good work... Good luck 👍
ஐயா... பயனூள்ள தகவல்... எலி , பெருச்சாளி போன்றை உண்டாக்கும் சேதங்களுக்கு பாலிசி பயன் உண்டா?
Excellent video, very confusion clear , keep doing like this video 📷👍🏼
Protip.
If your car has a smartkey
Add insurance add on with your b2b could save 5k to 9k in the event of a lost key
Actually there is one important question that is missed to ask,
When taking insurance, what all a car owner should keep in mind,
Like you said add-ons like passenger cover owner plus 1,4 ,
idv value,
ncb,
claim percentage
like what are all important to have as add on and things like that should have been asked
Even in nill depreciation plastic parts wont be covered or something like that is there, is there any policy which covers that, if its there is it worthy to take that one as such
There is an insurance for Return to invoice value which can be covered when buying a new car. Nationalised insurance companys are doing only for one year or two year. Pvt insurance they do for up to 5 years. You may inform the customers.
Very useful message sir Thankyou very much
very good Episode.Right selection Asir bro.Very informative.
Very useful interview, appreciate both of u
Thanks to MotoWagon for idea of bringing up this episode. It answers most of the questions which I had regarding insurance. I have a question....
In which cases FIR is required for claiming the insurance and in which scenarios it is not required ?
When we buy a new car the selling co quotes some insurance premium. Some suggest that we can bargain or we can take policy, ourselves. Selling co may reduces premium, for example. Why the difference in premium. Or they reduse the risk coverage. Clarity all about the insurance at sellers of car point of view.
Very very useful information. Thank you MW....
Excellent teaching 👌👌
Very useful video. thank you
Very informative, well explained with crystal clear
When we buy a new car, is there any disadvantages if we don't take the insurance from dealership? If so what is the difference as we can see significant difference b/w dealership & outside offerings.
very useful info and clear explanations.Great...
Really a helpful video..❤️ thanks motowagon team🙏🏾
Cover nest is a best platform for insurance premium multiple choice...with many companies....

Thank you
Most valuable concept.👍👍👍👍👍
@MotoWagon Team,
If Harness/ Rubber parts had damaged on the engine bay due to Rat bite.
Whether it will cover under Comprehensive plan ?
Thanks in advance...
I own 2013 model i10. I am upgrading to Carens and waiting for my delivery. Test drove twice. And I drove Venue and i20 recently. Coming to the point now, my 9y old i10 IRVM doesn't vibrate unless the car hits a big bump. I closely noticed, i20, Venue and Carens all car's IRVM vibrates on low speed and even on a flat road. Since you have been driving many cars, what is your view on my observation?
Very useful. Thanks Moto
Is driving school car will cover under insurance policy? Because driving school car need some alteration to add additional pedal control for brake and clutch
Thanks for your valuable effort
super awareness video thank you bro
Great episode
Great reviews thala ☺️
Sir, enaku oru doubt.. na skoda slavia car ku bumper to bumper insurance eduthu iruken,.40 days la oru chinna incident la front left tyre burst agidichi, and alloy wheel damage agidichi and disk bend achi... Edhuku insurance claim aguma ?? ICICI lambord insurance esuthu iruken
1. IDV value eppayume last year vida 10% depreciation la dhan irukkanuma?
2.Namma claim nu poi ketta... Insurance kudukravanga Namma previous insurance history laam paapangala? Adhula Idv 2 lakhs irukku.. Ipo neenga current la 1.8 lakhs dhan irukkanum(due to 10% depreciation) nu edhachum rules irukku nu solluvaangala?
And a question prompted is in case of total loss, should we use the coverage amount only to buy a new model of the same car or can we buy any car (different OEM) using the money
It is not at all related to buying another car. So, one can buy any car
Very informative video 🙌🙌🙌👏👏👏
Dear MW team, very informative podcast
Clear explanation and good content bro
Useful video thank you sir
Very much appreciable video..
Glad you liked it
Sir, I am asking this question for name transfer used car.Already you told ownership don't want to claim for own damage, he can skip for own damage policy, but for third party can claim.
Then is it necessary for name transfer?, why cant we leave insurance in previous owner name?
Very excellent details 👌 👏 👍 😀 ✨
But Mr. CoverNest.. re 14:00 to 15:00 still Insurance should value the damage part age by the time of insurance right..? not the time of accident. ex. I pay insurance on 2000 as 5 yrs old car then i met accident on 2005. So insurance company should calculate value for 5yr old car not 10 yr old car. Because i hv paid insurance for 5 yr old car. Your thoughts?
Very useful and informative....
Bro.. As you said. after getting total loss claim, how will u get NCB carry over for new vehicle? I think it's not possible... Once you got claim from insurance company NCB will get zero....
Very Useful Brother 👌👌👏👏👍👍
During insurance claim, there is a term called salvage charges. Can you explain what it is and how that charge is calculated.
Own scenario: for a year old car with zero dep cover, they charged 3000rs during claim. Total claim amount is 65000rs.
✨ Thank you sir very usefull video ✨
I have one question. Vehicle is my wife name but I am driving. So as per the insurance company I am driver or owner?
Very informative
Sir 2013 verna 1.6 cc க்கும்
city 2013 1.5 cc க்கும் பிரிமியம் வித்தியாசம் வருமா?
1500cc ku kammiya iruntha premium kammi.
SUPER USEFUL Video....!
When we buy new car, Is it necessary that to take insurance policy from show room recommend insurance company or shall we take a policy from outside insurance companies( which means other than show room recommend) insurance companies)
Bro one question ❓
3 years back car product nu solluraru but namma 3years ku pay panna amount matum mature aagamaliya irukum.
Super sir very answer
