Part of the reason Hurts got so many TDs last year is because swift would fall down at the 2 or 3 yard line every time. He got a ton of opportunities he was just terrible around the goal line. Barkley won’t have that problem. I think Barkley will have double digit TDs and Hurts rushing TDs will go down a bit.
Also the impact of Kelce's absence. I have him in a keeper league and I'm going to try and deal him to improve my first round pick
Not to mention Kellen Moore is the OC now and RBs thrive with him (Ekeler and Zeke).

@chandand001 rbs don't thrive w kellen. Ekler has his worse statistical season with kellen and in Dallas doing zeke was just a beast but kellen is known to get pass happy imo as a cowboys fan.

I prefer being at the end of round 1 and grabbing two elite RBs, then just taking whatever falls to me in 3-4

Remember Jamarr Chase his rookie year was 6-7 round pick. Feel like The prices are so inflated now
chase was also being drafted behind tee and boyd so it was understandable and he had drop problems so 6-7 was fair tbh
Saquon drafters fret not. Flock made decent points but missed the big picture.
Swift was more than decent at times in fantasy last year. He had 26 points week 1. His lack of TD’s last year was due to Brian Johnson dumb playcalling rather than Jalen Hurts culturing touchdowns.
To even assume that Saquon will face a similar situation is laughable. The Eagles wouldn’t have got Barkley unless he was gonna be used extensively. Less Tush Pushing this year for sure.
Swift fell at the 2 yard line too many times to count. Jason Kelce was the biggest part of the tush push and is now retired. Its not a coincidence the team with the best center in the league was so successfully at this otherwise everyone would be doing it. Swift was able to get up to 1200 yards on this offense and we are worried about Barkley??
Diggs adp at 26 is wild to me, I figured it would be around 40

Given how muddy the 1/2 turn and 2nd round is, is it best to have a early pick in drafts to get a certified stud to build around?
Your completly leaving the fact out when discussing barkley that the reason philly had more rushing touchdowns last year then usually is because deandre swift was stoped at the 1 yard line more then any other rb by a mile. Saquan is a much better runningback then swift so he wont be stoped on the 1 yard line even close to the same amount as swift.
I’d argue bc of how much time Barkley has missed due to injury in his career, he might have some more tread on his tires compared to other RBs

I think one thing you’re overlooking when Barkley while trying to compare him to Swift with the eagles last year is the change in offensive coordinator which is a huge improvement. I think Barkley finishes significantly better than Swift did with Philly last year.
Not to mention, Swift was on a 1-year deal and 0 finacial commitment from the org. Saquon got paid, they're going to use him a lot...

I like your analysis and the show a lot, this is my favorite FF channel. I don’t remember you doing the historical player comps last year, I think they are useful as a brief snapshot to round out a player profile but really aren’t reliable outside of providing outlier player aging info.
I get the utility of using a historical player comp for Davante Adams, but I’m not really sure that it helps us in looking at Achane or Swift. But also, you are the expert here!
I’m waiting for June 1st. That’s when teams will possibly release players or trade players because their contracts are too much for their production.
Hey mason, just a thought but do you think they’ll use barkley more at the goal line since hurts is getting a bit older? I know he’s only 25 but Barkley is a damn bowling ball and maybe they don’t want hurts risking injury?

I dont think it will because hurts is getting older, as you said hes only 25. But i think they will use Barkley well in the red zone especially on goalline because kelce is gone so brotherly shove might not work as well

Drafting at pick 10/12 in a dynasty SF start 3RBs/3WRs/2TEs/3Flex. Are RBs more valuable to pick or what you think?
It’s all about price point relative to the player and production. I had jt and swift last year and won my league, granted my team was stacked around it but getting them both at the 10 11 turn was a steal in a zero rb build. Like I said I had cd armsb and deebo along with puca but still they were serviceable for the price I paid
I’ve lots of these round 2 guys on my dynasty squad… got Saquon and JT… and Swift and Javonte... Also have JJ, AJB, Aiyuk, DJM… and Pitts. Need help at QB… Have TLaw, Danny Dimes, Carr, Fields… Just a big aging house of cards…… hoping it holds up long enough to finally get the ship. Finished 2nd last two years…

Your info on achane is WAY off. He was 187 at the combine, hes 205-210 now. He did track in college so had to be low for sprinting. 2 football offseasons later, watch out

when he pulls up the adps for the individual teams players it makes me wonder why purdy has an adp of 100 but stroud has one of 50. purdy had more yards and touchdowns and they both had 39 carries for around 150 yards. yes stroud now has diggs while purdy has ricky, but does the addition of diggs really make stroud qb5 while purdy is qb12?

Ive been going TE/QB round 2 and its been working out perfect.. round 2 is a wash for WR/RB so im thinking get a top prospect in that position ill be happy.. cuz i have to fight the waiver for TE every year and sometimes QB too really.. im tired of it lol
I feel like the second round is always like this. Also I’m a Raider fan and proud signed Adams jersey owner-he’s a 3rd rd pick to me. Trey Tucker is an important part of the offense now, if Bowers is as good as people think he will get his, then there’s Meyers and Mayer. All of these guys on a run first team.
Trying to remember off the top of my head, but if Swift got half the tush push TDs he's RB10 last year, and if for some reason he got all of them he's RB4.

Got Marvin Harrison at pick 30 in my league. Puka was my round 2 pick. Followed Marvin up drafting JT middle round 4 and then JJ McCarthy. 12 team super flex PPR .5 TE premium. JJ pick one. Great core squad imo

Honestly, Marvin Harrison Jr should be drafted no higher than the 4th Round in 12-team redraft half-PPR leagues. Just based on my past experience with rookie WRs and looking at the offense he's in. And the 4th round is NOT some low round. Tons of great WRs go in that round with a lot of upside. He's just in that range in my estimation. I think people are massively overvaluing MHJ.

I'm pretty positive JT is a "IDK what the fuck to do" pick. You see Zack Moss last year? Zack Moss is not good at football. JT is a can't miss solid pick anywhere outside of the 1st.

Is it likely? nope. Could he be a big play maker for them when it comes to red zone conversions in general? I think so.
I think fortune will favor the brave to snag an elite QB arguably too early this year. I’m snagging an elite RB, WR, or LaPorta and then prob grabbing myself the QB I want and going from there. No one knows if drafting Aiyuk over someone like Zay Flowers will pay off. Having an elite QB will make or break teams this year no doubt.

I’m not even sure that Corum will hurt kyren that much. Kyren probably won’t keep up the same volume as last year but I’m hoping for a pollard situation where Kyren’s efficiency spikes because they have a bruiser in Corum. That’s hopeful but I’ve still got high hopes for kyren

because he shares a last name with a friend of mine.

Won't be in Rams OTA with foot issue. Rams front office took top 3 rb of draft class to help Willaims "not run down". Positive reports coming out of rams and corum camp especially with williams sidelined for now. He had CMC level production last year this most likely won't be repeated. As well as everything else mason mentioned @@rreeeekk

I’ll take Dusty Diggs overs shot up Tank. I don’t recall a 3rd option WR going so high in an Underdog draft before. Tank is so over priced he’s arguably the worst pick in all of BBM drafts
