Good Shooting, and yes the Avenge X .25 caliber is SUB MOA at 100 yards. Mine is one ragged hole at 50 yards and SUB MOA at 100 yards shooting the JSB 33.95 MK II at 850ish FPS. Thats the velocity that I found is the sweet spot for that pellet. Steve S in Florida does real in-depth airgun reviews and used my tune and had the same results. Nice video buddy.
Watch AEAC Steves channel hes a master pcp tuner, this guy is not the first to shoot at 100 yrs , steve does reviews out to 120yrds with this gun check it out!!
I have the umerex and marauder.25 and the predator pollymags shoot the best 2nd best is jsb exact kings. I also deer hunt with a big bore pcp rifles. I have the Texan 45 and the hasten 45 and cast my own 385gr pellets for them.
Wow. I don't own any PCP airguns, but I think I want this one. And of course if I get it I'll have to get the scope and the compressor as well. Thanks for the video review.
I was running JTS 29’s in my 25 cal. Reg was about the same in the video (150) … was right at 880 out the box. HS wasn’t touched then but i did adjust it after with my 177 kit. It was around 3-4 turns in (max 5 I believe)
I'm surprised more people don't strap the rifle down when first sighting in. If you hit paper have an okay group and the rifle is strapped you adjust the scope to the group then re adjust the point of aim and there you go bobs your uncle
Drops like a rock as it were. The regulator is adjustable ,so you can tailor your pressure for best accuracy . The design of pellets and relatively bad bc has them shedding lots of energy . As a rule pellets shoot best at 850 to 950 fps , typically 32 fpe or so in 22 cal.... That's not a bad thing when shooting at pest birds at high angles ,or iguanas for example . You don't want something carrying energy out 250 yards . Now if you want max energy on target at extended ranges , you switch over to slugs that can cause serious damage to people and property out to 500 yards . Even the 25 cal is running at around 56 fpe , or half the energy of a 22 lr . There are all kinds of fpe tables on taking small game , and with good shot placenta ,it takes surprisingly little , after all Europe is limited to 12fpe in their guns ,or they have to have a firearms license.
@@markmtbrider that was what others were saying while we watched your great video. Seems to me a call for some new pellet designs that can fill the spot. Might call for longer throats on the chamber cuts. Possibly bismuth for weight? I really have no idea of what I am talking about, however I am basing my thoughts on the new long range bullet designs. Just don't know how it'll relate to air rifles.
How is the synthetic stock? Is it really better than what was on the avenger? I’m seriously considering the synthetic over the wood stock because I don’t like the wood trigger guard. Thanks!!
@WHOTEEWHO as long as a regular air hose, or tank can be used it sounds like you don't have much expense beyond the rifle, sight, and pellets then. I'm going to have to really think about getting one. Thanks!
@@wheelchairhillbillyI fill my four Avenger airguns with a very affordable Chinese compressor that I bought from Amazon for only $179.00 dollars you don’t need to but any expensive compressor to fill this airguns…👍😊
But I see you appreciate good workmanship on rifles. When it comes to Air rifles . The Cadillac of Spring guns are the AIR Arms tx200 or the ProSport are just Beautiful. But it takes real skill to shoot a spring gun. But they are just amazing.
Air rifles are fun and plenty powerful. Best of all, no hassles with paperwork! The JSBs are really heavy at 34 grain for 100 yards . The .25 are much lighter so better performance. It's a pity that the cost of the air rifle plus the compressor makes them too expensive for many people.
Sweet !! I have the same exact one in .25 just adjusted velocity by the hs to 880 with the 25.39 JSBs but I have yet to shoot paper:)I had the original it’s a night and day difference
On the 22 you should have been shooting the JSB 18.13 grain. Might also try the 22 redesigned monsters from JSB but expect more drop. Have never found a rifle that shoots the beasts well.
I have two Avengers in .22 and two more in .25 cal, no matter what pellets you use with the .22 cal airguns the .25 are much more accurate than the smaller.22. I have had tested almost all the pellets that are available in the market with this airguns between 30 and 60 yards and only use high end scopes (Arkens) in all of them and this are my findings, this is why almost all the airgunners that compete in EBR tournaments choose the bigger and heavier .25 and .30 cal pellets over the .22 😉.
Shot my 25 today at 75 and 100. Destroyed the bull eye.. super accurate Didn’t touch my reg or HS.. reg is about 150 barr. I was shooting 29 gr Dead Centers at 890 fps. 25 grs we’re running a bit hot at 940 fps.
Jeeper I have two Avenge-X in .25 cal the pellets that this airguns like the most are the JSB 25, the air arms diabolo fields in 25 and the rebranded Hades/ FX Atomics in 26.6 grains and the tune that make them the most accurate is shooting them between 890 and 910 fps your, 940 fps tune is a little in the hot side for those pellets 😉. PS I am not a fan of those JTS pellets because they fit very tight in the barrels of our Avengers and because this the side level becomes to stiff as well, and they’re not the most accurate neither. When you can try the pellets that I told you, I can make one single hole 5 shots group’s with most if these pellets at 35 yards…😉
When changing the caliber from 177, 22 to 25 cal do you also change the hammer spring or use the same hammer spring that is use for 22 cal? I ask cuz with the same hammer spring I don’t see how it can get its true 25 cal power with a 22 cal hammer spring?
Would you be able to answer a couple of questions for me? I’m waiting on a .22 synthetic tube version. Will I be able do my first fill with my Nomad 2 or do I need a scuba fill for the first time? And how high (what bar level) do you fill it to? Thank you!!
@@michaelo6003I have four Avengers one first gen and three Avenge-X two .22 and two .25 cal, in complete confidence you can ask me any question related to any doubt you have with any of this airguns. Since I am bilingual you also can asked me in english or spanish as well 👍😊
And they become even more quieter with the Hugget snipe moderators, since I only do all my shooting in my backyard this are the ones I am using in all my four Avengers airguns 😉
Thing looks like my Gauntlet 1 .25 😂 i only spent 240 on mine and upgraded to larger bottle higher output and installed the hammer spring adjuster. This thing is a beast now 72+ fpe and thats on only one turn low power. Very accurate as well 👌 avenge x is so nice though, can swap the barrels and the side lever is very nice and interchangeable for lefty shooters 👌 🔥

Now time to get some squirrels!!!
I agree
Time to get squirrel's? he won't hit one of em shooting like that 😂
Explain the high low setting- no one has addressed this power setting.. thanks
Finally someone brought it out to 100 yards
Seems like a ballistic gel vs 22, 17 25acp etc is in order... thx for all the content
That .25 cal is very accurate, would love to see how many paper plates it goes though at 100 yards.

Great rifle! I’m getting my .25 out tomorrow again. Hoping the snow holds off.
Another thing with air guns. If you have it canted at 100 yards it will make a big difference. You need a bubble lever.
Nice system and puts em right in there !
Super cool I'm seriously considering getting one of those.
33.95gr beasts are a little heavy with that tune. 25.4gr JSb monsters are about the max in. 22 with that.

Damage and Balistic test Zeus 72 cal.?
dont change the gun just yet, just try different pellets until you find one in 22 that groups like the 25 then try fideling with the gun to fine tune
Do a five shot group.
Use the Jsb MarkII PELLETS. THE HEAVIER grains will help beat the wind. Going to PCP rifle is a whole new rabbit hole.
Id like to see just how far out it'll go and stay on target and look at drop. And how much pressure per shot to get there with a good group.

Good shooting air rifle. Thanks for the video and information.
Great video and air gun.
My question is if you need all the high dollar extra stuff to fill the air tanks on this style ilof rifles.
You need an air compressor and a tank. Otherwise a good amount of tine and a hand pump
