The warlock plunder set with the scarlet semblance shader makes you look like a blood thirsty pirate plundering whatever gets in your way. It gives the sword on the back blood stains in various locations making it look recently used. I might be the only one but I loved playing season of plunder wearing this set.
As someone who started d2 in season of the lost. All the ornaments from the previous season are a need!! Every piece muffin bandit said that was "bad" I need! I love the chonk and dumb .

The Siegebreak Titan set in my opinion is what I think of when I think of a Titan, the industrial look and heavy shoulder guards makes the whole set feel cyberpunk corporate guard Edit: Another things I love is how practical the whole set is, there aren't any bells and whistles like alot of other sets, it's just a set of heavy no nonsense armour that does what it needs to do, and that's why I think it's my personal favourite. The pragmatic imposing vibe matches the whole Sentinel Titan "I am a wall, and walls don't move" philosophy so well.
All three seem very cyberpunk-ey, especially once you start playing with the shaders. The warlock one makes for a really cool armored first responder/medic ala trauma team with the right shaders and the medical ship/sparrow/ghost combo.
Season of the undying was the season I played the least so I can't wait to complete the set, hopefully they'll add the crimson days items to eververse too 🙏.
The Epialos Following armor is one of my favorites. Combining the red skull with the cowboy hat from Spire on my hunter is a look I can’t give up easily. Channeling some Carter Slade Ghost Rider vibes. I only wish I could do more with the skull on Titan and Warlock.
I just would like a "CYBER" assassin set... CYBER-NINJA (hunter) CYBER-SHOGUN (titan) CYBER-RONIN (warlock) The cyber shogun for the titan ... could definitely be accomplished this season due to the new strand aspect.. with the banner... And if they did a RAIDEN/straw hat design for the warlock. then the cyber Ronin could easily be accomplished..... with how some of the warlock robes are.. that would look SICK!!!
We kinda of got a small taste of that with some of the Iron banner sets and the play station collab set for the warlocks. But I agree I would also like a full set of those

They've already been coming back for a while! Make sure to check on Ada-1 every week. I already got 4 seasonal shaders that i missed from season of dawn, worthy and arrivals.
I hate that I have to pay again for something that I already have bought I havent gotten all of the seasonal armor and I think we who bought the season earlier should either get a discount or get ONE or ALL for free.

Season of the deep is amazing for Hunters. Ugly on titans. And I love everything for warlocks except the chest. Almost all seasonal armor been pretty garbage. I can't say that I ever wear the entire set of any of it. Not really looking forward to the Groot armor this season around as well. Meh. Btw - really disagreeing with ur S tier... especially Saints armor - helmets just look like cooking buckets awkwardly fitted on your head. Ew.
So far, the current set is S or A tier for me, but that's mainly because I like the nature/bark & flowers look kinda like a druid it's a bit refreshing in a sea of metal plates and flashy lights
Glad some people are liking it. I'm not fully convinced by it yet, solely because i can't think of other pieces to mix it with, but i'm sure once more people get their hands on it, a lot of cool ideas will pop up, because the armor itself looks really good.

As a veteran player, I would be willing to step down for my high horse and be content with letting the newcomers spend silver for past armor sets & cosmetics. the titles however, those are for us elites.
Bro I absolutely do not agree with you about the season of defiance sets, its without a doubt an S tier in this game. The amount of details and the effort put into making it look good, also the amount of shaders that absolutely rock with it is outstanding. But no. you just had to put some furry set into S tier instead of it!
I just wish there were more cyber and robot esc armor fot hunter and warlock. Titans always get robot and cyber style armors. Back in d1 it was the only reason I picked titan as my main cuz they looked cool with the robot and tech themed armor. Now in d2 the overall playstyle I like hunter much more but damn all the armor is light weight skimpy cloth, if they do have armor it's all one one side...which looks stupid to me. People always say hunter has best fashion which yeah mabye if you wanna look like an edge lord. I get it hunters are supposed to be the rogues but damn it'd be nice to get more versatility. Same for warlocks too. I just want to look like a futuristic military operative. Not a guy wearing all black ragged and torn edgy clothing.

I think many players dipped out of the game to take a break during Season of the Worthy, so it's probably one of the seasons with the fewest people that actually finished the pass to get all the ornaments

That fact that the Seigebreak armor isn't in at least A Tier is jarring to me, maybe its just me but i like more pragmatic armors over flashy jellyfish cloaks and overall fantasy esque stuff like D1. I do agree that it reminds me of death stranding as well, but man I gotta get this for my Titan cause I didn't start buying season passes until beyond light came out. Also Bungie give us more chest pieces that actually give us backpacks or add them as a new armor slot to the game. I’m only missing Season of the Dawn set. When I looked at it during release I didn’t think the glows would change and I only made it to level 30 something on the Season Pass. So after that incident I always make sure to complete the Season Pass. I agree with your list but there’s a few changes I’d make.
No way virtuslis is higher then xenotype, the titan chest piece alone makes the xenotype also in S, I can’t go a week without someone gawking at it. Every time zones asks or regrets not playing. If I go off the whole set, it would be F tier because all it looks terrible except the titan chest lmfao.
I agree the Titan phenotype set is godly but since I was judging these all together the rest of the phenotype sets bring it down a bit. If I was judging alone the Titan set would be S tier
season of the undying and the saint are the only sets that i'm still wanting especially since i'm literally missing only the helmet and chest in undying and i only played for a little during saint, i pretty much got bastion and stopped playing for the rest of the season.

I would put season of dawn in the d section personal preferences. Season of the hunt for me is an C tier for me, the titan feel short but hunter and warlock was good. Chosen goes in c for me. Meridan was okay for me they go A they dont earn s for me. Risen i give them an S. Season of the haunted goes to S tier i agree. The plunder season i place in C tier is because a few piece can be used but most is hard to work with.
Yeah but also, if you paid for the season and didnt get the ornaments, that feels like you just didnt grind enough for smth you chose to buy to make it worth your money. Idk thats just imo but i also didnt get the psionic stalker stuff that i would like to have so i would like to get it for free after i bought the season. personally im only a fan of the new warlock set. I feel like its the cleanest in general BUT those titan legs are incredible. It almost reminds me of the ruin wings from d1. As for everything else... hard pass. warlock definitely takes the cake
Something tells me that, despite how goofy the hunter "mullet" cape looks, it's gonna have some very interesting uses with the right shaders. The titan helmet is going to be perfect for the abomination/monster style looks. Hard agree on the warlock, shade it dark gray and crimson red or purple and you have a deathsayer/cultist look down to boot.
Undying armor: pretty awesome Dawn armor: it looks pretty cool big ole MEH Arrivals: Makes you look like a tank Hunt: forgettable Chosen: forgettable. Splicer: NOOOOPE Lost: looks pretty good its different but good Risen: Both armors were questionable. Skull armor: its cool but its not for me Plunder: Hmmm... Eh? Seraph: pretty cool but i im not fond of the titan helm Defiance: Very elegant looking armor and actually pretty solid Deep...: Honestly i dont care for this armor at all. Witch: unknown so far
What really goes right up my ass is that I missed some of the battle pass ornaments because either A; Destiny was f-ing boring at the time and I didn't feel incentivized to play it over something better (even though I had _PAID_ for the seasons) or B; I literally forgot to claim some of the items and because Bungo doesn't autocollect them when the season turns over, the content I paid to have access to literally just doesn't exist anymore and I can't get it back. And now what, Bungie expect me to pay for it twice? From Eververse?

I don't think the season of plunder set should be blamed for lack of use. I can almost guarantee the lack of use comes from people not having the set. Since it was considered a really bad season it's very possible that people just played the main mission and logged out.
I was a hunter main at the time of season of the dawn and I only grabbed hunter arms legs and the warlock class item. At the time I never cared about fasion I just grabbed random things. I'm so mad I never collected any of the ornaments. I completed the pass I just have no clue why I never grabbed them all.
Season of the worthy was like the least popular season since shadowkeep, why start there? Lmao For me the season of Dawn set would be the only one in S tier. Since its the only set ive used on all three classes. A would be Hunt, and Lost. I used the lost arms and legs for the hunter for like a year, and i used the warlock robes a lot. And the lost chest piece for the hunter is my favorite piece over all.
I just need the undying sets to come back! They're the only ones im missing and that hunter cloak will do wonders for my fashion game!!

I missed season of the Undying, and I've lamented my loss on the armour ever since then. I will pay top top dollar if that set becomes available.

The warlock skull is great for any lich-like look, especially with a couple particular shaders, that turn the skull blue with blue flames.

2. Valkyrian Warlock
3. For hunters i'm really struggling to choose between the following:
- Phenotype Plasticity;
- Virtuous;
- Steeplechase (Female);
The titan mark for the virtuous set is amazing, i use it with everything because it fits so well with everything

I missed out on season of the haunted I came back to the game during plunder and I bought the deluxe edition of witch queen but couldn’t level old bp so hopefully they bring that armor back as well.
Can't wait for the Siegebreak and Steeplechase to come back, the only two sets I'm missing.
The only ornaments I'm missing is undying and dawn, nothing else just those 2 sets
I would put season of dawn in the d section personal preferences.
Season of the hunt for me is an C tier for me, the titan feel short but hunter and warlock was good.
Chosen goes in c for me.
Meridan was okay for me they go A they dont earn s for me.

The plunder season i place in C tier is because a few piece can be used but most is hard to work with.

Yeah but also, if you paid for the season and didnt get the ornaments, that feels like you just didnt grind enough for smth you chose to buy to make it worth your money. Idk thats just imo but i also didnt get the psionic stalker stuff that i would like to have so i would like to get it for free after i bought the season. I wouldnt be suprised if bungie makes u pay for it tho

Titan mini skirt, s tier
personally im only a fan of the new warlock set. I feel like its the cleanest in general BUT those titan legs are incredible. It almost reminds me of the ruin wings from d1. As for everything else... hard pass. warlock definitely takes the cake
Something tells me that, despite how goofy the hunter "mullet" cape looks, it's gonna have some very interesting uses with the right shaders.
The titan helmet is going to be perfect for the abomination/monster style looks.
Hard agree on the warlock, shade it dark gray and crimson red or purple and you have a deathsayer/cultist look down to boot.
Undying armor: pretty awesome
Dawn armor: it looks pretty cool

What really goes right up my ass is that I missed some of the battle pass ornaments because either A; Destiny was f-ing boring at the time and I didn't feel incentivized to play it over something better (even though I had _PAID_ for the seasons) or B; I literally forgot to claim some of the items and because Bungo doesn't autocollect them when the season turns over, the content I paid to have access to literally just doesn't exist anymore and I can't get it back. And now what, Bungie expect me to pay for it twice? From Eververse?
I'm not a fan of the sotw set. The chest piece for the male warlock looks too feminine. It looks like there's a bra or breast plate.

the only one who rlly worth money its the set from season of the haunted , that red skulls are beautiful and i use titan arms from this set for my taken titan theme . And for this season .. why titans have FLOWERS on sholder .. dude we are TITANS !!! you really have nothing to match these hands with.. I've tried almost everything , and for that pirates theme , helms are rlly rlly good especialty titan with SIVA syntoceps look rlly good for a red titan theme
i think destiny's community is so dumb. we complain "don't vault content, keep all content in the game, putting a time limit on content is so dumb!!" but then when they bring old, vaulted content back, we complain "oh i have nothing to show i played back then, ugh!"
The Season of The Witch armour is ugly as hell, and has no synergy with anything that I'd want. F tier. (Personal opinion, you are free to ignore, disregard and mock. I won't take offense).

I have an unhealthy need for the undying set, I played in vanilla a bit but quit until season of the splicer and seeing this vex themed set with a HOODLESS CLOAK has me foaming at the teeth

I want the season of the haunted ornaments so bad. It’s bullshit too because paid for/own season of the haunted, but I wasn’t able to play much then due to medical issues. It’s bs that j can’t get the armors/ornaments from the season that I PAID FOR due to not being able to grind much then. I’ve been wanting them so bad ever since so I hope they come back.

I don't think the season of plunder set should be blamed for lack of use. I can almost guarantee the lack of use comes from people not having the set. Since it was considered a really bad season it's very possible that people just played the main mission and logged out.
I was a hunter main at the time of season of the dawn and I only grabbed hunter arms legs and the warlock class item. At the time I never cared about fasion I just grabbed random things. I'm so mad I never collected any of the ornaments. I completed the pass I just have no clue why I never grabbed them all.

For me the season of Dawn set would be the only one in S tier. Since its the only set ive used on all three classes.
A would be Hunt, and Lost. I used the lost arms and legs for the hunter for like a year, and i used the warlock robes a lot. And the lost chest piece for the hunter is my favorite piece over all.
