Dealer wanted to charge me $200 to replace the cabin air filter and the engine air filter. Both parts cost me $35 on Amazon. Crazy. Thanks for the video :)
Nice, thank you!!! I just changed it today BUT when I pulled it out, there was a bunch of what I could only describe as cotton or couch fabric all above it that was hanging down. I pulled it all out because I wasn’t sure it should be there for something above the filter. Was that the right thing to do? 😅
I had the same exact situation, I initially thought it was from outside , but then I realized it was the insulation within the car , regardless Honda quality is going down , the insulation cotton just keeps falling on the filter!
Thanks, I had JiffyLube change the cabin air filter during an oil change and they left that filter cover in my door pocket. And they it in 90 degree off see 2:51 mins Now I can put it back, and next time DIY!
Good video but rather than pulling from the bottom of the housing, push on the two tabs on the sides of the cover inward and then the cover is going to come right off. Pulling from the bottom you'll end up snapping the tabs at some point.

Haha, I just did the same thing. Bought both on Amazon, less than 10 minutes to change both out.
Came back in from trying to get the filter out and I saw the mistake I was making, excellent video and vert clear instructions. Thanks 🎃
2020 model. The dealers asking price for the Hepa filter was 90CAD$ Toronto. Thanks for the video
Great vid, thanks for posting. The tabs on the fliter cover push in to release.
Thanks for the vid bro. I am an experienced mechanic but I like to see what I'm getting into before accepting a job.
Nice, thank you!!!

Oh good, it's an easy one. None of the bend-it-into-an-hourglass nonsense like my Nissan.
Family owns Honda and Nissan cars. Nissan one seems like a pain. Honda one seems easy.
Dealer in central Florida wanted $65.99 🤷♂️
Don't know where you live, my dealer wanted $100 !
Mine too!
$79 California
Dealer wanted $60 where I am.
The dealer wanna charge me $90 ..
MF is $20 now.
