Maybe you're A pioneer for your friends that you never expected to be. I'm a 55 year old wife and mother in a mixed race marriage with a man who's family is from Chihuahua. My lovely father in law knew how much I loved mariachi music and he and I went to concerts together, where he always introduced his pale, freckled Irish looking daughters in law as his daughter. In the beginning, at 22, I felt so fraudulent and self conscious and I did get stared at. Once we had kids I quit thinking about it so much. I wanted them to appreciate this rich, beautiful world and all the things that humanity has created. We went to every festival from Greek to Polynesian and everything in between. Life is short. Like what is beautiful and touching and joyful, and who cares what other people think. As my father in law would say, salut! And as the Irish would say, slainte! Cheers to you!

She ended the concert with something on the terms of how there are people who didn't appreciate her new album, and it sort of broke everyone's heart that how could that be possible. She's a queen, a legend and once in a lifetime artist.

Never mind, I'll find someone like you I wish nothing but the best for you "Don't forget me, " I beg I remember you said "Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead" Never mind, I'll find someone like you I wish nothing but the best for you, too "Don't forget me, " I begged I remember you said "Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead" "Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead"

This is what I like about her . She does not have to jump here and there and move hips . She just sings her heart out . That's how imo a performer should be rated .
I disagree. Imo, music/artists are different, and it is cool to have that variety. Some bring top-quality music, and some also bring a visual show which can also be fun to watch. :D As long as they are not complete trash music-wise, but I guess that depends on the audience. xD

man im 20 and black😂 adele my favorite artist. Ion care wat nobody think
Nothing to be ashamed of dude. I respect you for just saying it on here man. I hope you are doing well and blessed
@@ohmightywez thank you I love that blessings to you and your family
It was the best concert I've been at. She's funny, witty, extremely talented and entertaining...OMG I had the best time EVER!!!!
and stunningly beautiful as well
@@macaronblanc9522 OOOOMG how could I forget this: elegant, stunningly beautiful, kind and charismatic. I could spend the whole day....thanks for reminding me!
So jealous 😭😭😭
身边的人和每一份挚爱的气息永存! 爱你
Are we talking about the same person? Never heard her being funny or witty, unless saying Fuck every 2 sentences is funny to you.
Flew in all the way from India just to see her and attend this. I don't think I'll ever come into terms to what I have experienced, this was literally the best day of my life. A week later, I'm still watching the videos I took and others took. Everytime I think about being present there and she singing, I get instant goosebumps. And this moment this song was just surreal. She ended the concert with something on the terms of how there are people who didn't appreciate her new album, and it sort of broke everyone's heart that how could that be possible. She's a queen, a legend and once in a lifetime artist.
That is sad! It was a different vibe from what we've been used to but still great nonetheless!
I am so happy yet jealous of you lol . The feeling of admiration and respect for Adele from your side is something I can relate . This was a beautiful cmt
Music can move us, stir the spirit. The Lord I believe in, I feel him when music gets to my soul.
Her new album is a masterpiece. It's so deep and well done. It's a rounded álbum and perfection production. I say without fear that Hold On its the song of her career
Well said
"Don't forget me, I begged...". Adele, you will never be forgotten.
I was here and she was insane, the best concert I’ve probably ever been to. That moment was such a powerful and emotional moment for everyone ❤️

WOW! How fortunate...would be the opportunity of a lifetime for me. Maybe someday! I've also been to many concerts like you and while I enjoyed them, I feel certain that, for me, her's would be the most outstanding of them all.
She is such a gift to our lives. And shout out to her accompanist: he’s so in tune with her AND when the crowd sang it back to her. Love to watch him “work”. Makes me want to try the piano again. He makes it be the other “voice” when she sings. Bravo, sir.
she has become very boring
@Unknown same formula over and over. ridiculous how people just eat it up. they must be depressed too
her pianist is Kevonstage. he's also a comedian
@@OS-yg9fr you must be fun at parties
@@OS-yg9fr She has a great personality and a great sense of humor. She sings about her life experiences that the majority of listeners can relate to in some way...be it a little or a lot, sad or upbeat. Many times, very talented artists express themselves through the writing of songs and/or singing them; writing poems and reciting them; writing books and having them published and whatever outlet(s), the artists are great at expressing themselves through, usually resonates with the fans and that's why they enjoy the artist(s) as they can relate; however, many don't need to relate in order to enjoy and appreciate fine talent. I can think of a lot more artists who are less talented but can still be enjoyable.
Best part of the performance was the crowd singing every word so confidently and loudly
I don't think I've ever heard a performance that ended with my face as covered in tears as this one did. No words do it justice, she's incredible.
Thank you so much for your love care and support it's a pleasure meeting you here
How long have you been a fan of me?
If this blew you away I suggest you watch the Brit awards version where James Corden announced her. Yes she is flawless here but she is a goddess in that 2015 performance🎉
I love how she took her earbud out just to hear everyone sing it! She is such a wonderful artist!
Earbud ? 😂😂😂
Those are in ear monitor - to provide the singer with a direct source of sound and listen to things that the audience can’t hear , such as backing track.
@@yangtzeling7468 There’s no need to be condescending you understood what they meant

when she said “will you sing it for me?” and the crowd started singing, you can hear the producer say “don’t screw up your makeup!” cause you could see how moving that was for her. Damn I love Adele
The sad thing is most of these beautiful songs that touches everyone is born from so much pain and suffering.. It simply touches and pulls the string of millions of hearts
Greetings from Adele, thanks so much for your wonderful comment on my officer page... But where are you watching me from?
You can see Adele clearly choking up.... must have been so emotional for her to here 65,000 people singing your sing. She did well to keep her composure as not sure I would have been able too. She truly is 1 of the best female singers yo ever grace this world. So much raw power & always connects with every song she sings. Truly amazing!!
She was recently divorced. She relates to her own song.
Not just female singers she's one of the best singers in the world

It's 2024, who's here with me to idolize this best performance from the Queen Adele.

Adele - Someone Like You (Lyrics)
I heard that you're settled down
That you found a girl and you're married now
I heard that your dreams came true
Guess she gave you things, I didn't give to you
Old friend, why are you so shy?
Ain't like you to hold back or hide from the light
I hate to turn up out of the blue, uninvited
But I couldn't stay away, I couldn't fight it
I had hoped you'd see my face
And that you'd be reminded that for me, it isn't over
Never mind, I'll find someone like you
I wish nothing but the best for you, too
"Don't forget me, " I beg
I remember you said
"Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead"
"Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead"
You know how the time flies
Only yesterday was the time of our lives
We were born and raised in a summer haze
Bound by the surprise of our glory days
I hate to turn up out of the blue, uninvited
But I couldn't stay away, I couldn't fight it
I had hoped you'd see my face
And that you'd be reminded that for me, it isn't over
Never mind, I'll find someone like you
I wish nothing but the best for you, too
"Don't forget me, " I begged
I remember you said
"Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead"
Nothing compares, no worries or cares
Regrets and mistakes, they're memories made
Who would have known how bittersweet this would taste?
Never mind, I'll find someone like you
I wish nothing but the best for you
"Don't forget me, " I beg
I remember you said
"Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead"
Never mind, I'll find someone like you
I wish nothing but the best for you, too
"Don't forget me, " I begged
I remember you said
"Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead"
"Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead"

She doesn´t do live performances as much as I wish, but when she does, she really does! This is Adele
I think it's wonderful that she doesn't. Makes her performances so special.
I fight back tears every time I give this song a listen.

I can't get over how gifted and STUNNING this woman is.. I always said it.. she represents beauty inside out
Definitely she is a rare talent.
How she controls her voice even amid tears is what makes her stand out from the rest. Generational talent. Us millennials are proud of you Adele ❤❤
God I love this woman and her music. Its like she knows how I feel. She knows exactly how we all feel. And she sings it with all her heart and her powerful voice.

@@vincentruvo6988 I agree, RIP Adele!
I am 61, I have heard songs from the 60s to today. If you can name one singer that bests this lady I am listening. I would love to hear a better voice. if there is one I will listen. But after all this time time and thousands of songs heard, this old white guy has to say this lady makes me feel 20 again. No singer since Stevie Nicks or Ann Wilson has moved me like her, Adele is the voice from heaven. Angels are jealous of this ladies voice, I would bet my fortune on it. Small fortune LOL, but this lady reaches into the deepest part of my soul and brings back feelings I have not had in 40 yrs. Some good some good, some so sad it still hurts. But damn girl, you see though me like no one else.
Adele is one of those artists who you have to brace yourself for because she dredges up so many unexpected emotions and memories.

It's incredible to watch her journey, and how much she's grown as an artist, a woman, and a person. She raised the bar for the music industry forever, and I doubt that there will ever be another artist as genuine, and deserving of the title of role model. At least, not as much as I feel she does right now.

Adele has brought me out of so many times of i thought was the end for me. She brought me through a year of my spouse being locked up in prison and I was so depressed. But your music and lyrics gave me the strength to go on and fight for us to be back together. Here we are several years later still going strong. I would love to sit and talk with her and im a singer too. So I would love everything about it to hear her live. God bless you my dear
For someone that has reached near unattainable super star status, she is so incredibly human. A beautiful person inside and out. And can we hear a little commotion for that dress!! I mean...COME ON!! 🔥 Stunning!

Amazing
omg i have NEVER heard a crowd sing back like that, soooooo moving and Adele now knows how much she is loved if she didnt bafore!
I like metal, like old school metal and extreme metal, and also Adele! Her voice is so powerful, her songs so genuine and in every TV appearance she comes across as so down to earth and likeable. Really talented artist and this is a lovely, spine tingling performance 😊
A real class performance. this woman owns the stage wit such grace! what a special moment when everyone started singing
And all she is doing is standing there singing ... That's Rare and it's special. Esp being the best human on top of it and funny... It isn't fair lol
even the hardest of hearts can offer no defense against this emotional juggernaut of a performance... goosebumps from head to toe and complete surrender to this touchstone ballad. due credit to both Adele and also to the brilliant pianist for bringing me to tears.

This song can never die . It holds a lot of memories . This is 10 solid years ,but it's still fresh and new like the lilies of the valley
Thank you Adele ♥️
This is what I like about her . She does not have to jump here and there and move hips . She just sings her heart out . That's how imo a performer should be rated .
@My_name_is_Poetry M yeah and that is why I said * imo*
I disagree. Imo, music/artists are different, and it is cool to have that variety. Some bring top-quality music, and some also bring a visual show which can also be fun to watch. :D As long as they are not complete trash music-wise, but I guess that depends on the audience. xD
You don't know what you're talking about. Take your bias somewhere else, even Adele loves to enjoy a good hardcore dance routine and performance on stage. There are different feelings and different moments in life, sometimes you wanna enjoy a melodic sad moment while sometimes you just wanna get your hype up and shake that body.
Someone like you is a memorable song. Even having won that difficult phase of life there will always be a moment of remembrance and this song is a trait of respect to a lesson that has been learned.
listen to that! The crowd knows that whole song word for word and is singing it perfectly with her!
