@@PERTHWESTOZRC i got this with r7fg receiver along with sensorless castle motor and xlx2 esc. I cant calibrate endpoints unless i have TH(throttle) on "reverse". If i leave it on "normal" it wont let me calibrate at all. Ive even tried switching a and c motor wires to see if that would help and still nothing. Dont know what else to do to be able to run it on "normal"
Another great video Dave. I've had my RC4GS V1 for over 2yrs now and it's brilliant. Got it in my K6 (gyro off) and I just put another R6FG into my new Mojave EXB (gyro on), bound it, and it just works perfectly. I highly recommend them 100%. When I turned on the gyro for the Mojave, the gyro was in reverse, to change it, I had to press that tiny button twice. Cheers mate and we have to go for a bash one day now that the weather is cooling down.
I've been having range issue with this model. I've had v2 and now v3. I bought the v3 version thinking that the v2 was faulty... turned out it wasn't because the v3 does the same thing. No more than 100 meter range lol
That is very odd Anthony because I have not had issues with range at all on these transmitters, they have been very good with range, maybe you have interference of signal some how where you are running your RC’s perhaps? Thanks for watching 👍
@@PERTHWESTOZRC I thought it was an interference issue too but I've tried them both where there's nothing around me and in the city. It gets worse(not even 60-70 meters) outside of the city lol no one else seems to have any issues except for me 🤣 it's probably just my luck lol thank you for replying. 🙂 ***I also have the dumborc transmitter and no issue with it whatsoever lol
@PERTHWESTOZRC gotcha futaba I had was difficult to use the layout on the menu wasn't easy to figured out their only was one big button on the remote but hopefully this remote will be easy to understand but I like that radiolink transmitter seems simple to use
Good day. I’m very new to all things rc. Does this transmitter need to use the supplied radio link receiver or can it be programmed to other receivers? I have cheap rc cars and a couple of cars that I have no transmitter for. Any info would be appreciated thanks
Hi Keith thanks for watching, those 2 switches are for extra channels to control different options on your rc car like lights or what ever you choose them to be
Why don't you get some more info about one of the most important features the F/S and how to activate it ,,,this means Fail Safe to get full Brake when signal is lost .
Yeah i'll set up the Failsafe, at the time of this review i was still getting used to the settings, there are so many on this radiolink tx... thanks for watching Anton 👍
I bought this radio but i have problem with the GYRO, it seems to work backwards🤷♂️ no matter what i do... i drive forward the car just is all over the place, i reverse it goes straight line! I already sent the buyer on ebay but im still waiting for soulution.
@@PERTHWESTOZRC I already did that at the beginning, and then when i activated the GYRO its reverse. And i have tried to reverse it again, i have tried to have the motor turn both clockwise and counter clockwise 🤷♂️
Hi , Is there any THROTTLE GAIN on the RC4G that automatically reduces the speed ? I mean does the GYRO assist also the speed in turns or does it assist only the direction ? Is it possible to have an alarm on lipo voltage ? Thanks Regards Marc
@@PERTHWESTOZRC ahh I see, cause when I hit the accelerator on the hsp it just loses traction and goes out of control, I'm assuming that controller settings kinda helps to keep it in straight line
Hi I just got the controller delivered but I'm having some problems the forward throttle works no problem but there's no reverse available, tried to fix every settings but it wouldn't give me reverse unless I swapped the throttle
I got the same one from Amazon but I'm couroius if u have any run aways my 144001 hit a brick wall today I was with 40 feet of the car and the radio is only two weeks old but that's the second time it took off by itself.
I guess maybe folks that fly rc are more familiar with f/s? Fail Safe settings, tells it what to do if signal is lost so you don't get a car that just goes until the battery runs out or in the case of a plane/drone makes sure it doesn't fly off into the distance if signal is lost.
Yes fail safe is to stop the rc once it goes out of range, years ago I remember seeing a friend of mine was running his 1/8 Nitro truck and the batteries in his transmitter happened to be flat so he had poor range, he lost range and his nitro truck kept going at full throttle into a sports club building and slammed into the wall at full speed, had no fail safe
@@PERTHWESTOZRC No doubt that left it in some pieces! I just received my rc4gs today. Much nicer than the Spektrum Dx3 that came with my Vendetta. Build quality is nicer and setup was nice and easy. 👍
I have one of myself ,,nice radio but the range is only half of what they promise only 200 meters ,,,yes 200 meters away forward and 200 meters behind you ,,yeah that makes 400 but don't let it fool you and lose signal
You must have a faulty transmitter then mate, i got 260+ metres easy on my drive range test, only reason i didnt go further was because the field was too short and had to turn back
Not sure what you mean by falling apart, I have a few of these radiolink transmitters and they been nothing but great, i never had a transmitter fall apart even the cheap RTR ones taht come with the cheapest of RC's

No problem. Thanks for watching bro 👍
Thank you so much for this review! I've got my eye on this radio, love to run my fleet on one radio! Have a fantastic weekend 😀! 👍😎👍
i just got the Radiolink RC6GS v2 and im loving it! Radiolink is amazing bang for buck :) great video bro!
It sure is mate, best tx for the money I reckon, my RC6GS has been a great remote for range and features in the past year😂 Cheers for watching

I don't use the yellow connector maybe umi need to connect the yellow connector to the receiver bind?
Awesome video but one more thing if you want to reverse the gyro push it two more times !
Nice review and very helpful!!! 👌
Thanks for watching mate 👍
It seems like a good tx, nice job Dave.
Yes it’s a great tx, thanks Gregory
My receiver don't bind ? Is only flashing blue, red and green but don't bind ?
If i put rechargeable duracell batteries in it can i charge it from the usb port ?
sweet radio mate!
wheres the transbrake switch 4 the nitro dragracers lol!
would be nice if it could be done....
How do you know that the boat or car battery is weak?
Nice review, I had the rcg6 for a while... They're OK for the price.
Cheers for watching bro 👍
These are great transmitters 👍💯
Sure are, I’ve been using the RC6GS for the past year and it’s my favourite TX, and this 4GS is very similar. cheers for watching Dan
Nicely done bro, I really want to try one of these Controllers. Cheers !

Do you have to bind it to car or is it automatically done
the Remote and receiver bind automatically
Is this transmitter way easier then the futaba 3pv because i had that it was difficult to figured out
Can't say, cause I've never owned or used a futaba transmitter to compare. These radiolink ones though are easy to use

Does the RC4GS v3 have out of control protection
Yes pretty sure there is a fail safe feature in the setting menu
What do the two bittons on the handle do ? The (SWA) and (SWD)

You can if you want as it will correct the steering in a slide

Yes to all 3, throttle gain is via the throttle trim and the other 2 can be adjusted via the sub menus, thanks for watching
Hi.. question for you…. Does this remote have a fail safe for nitro engines?
It does have a failsafe option in the sub menus yes
Will this work on a hsp fly fish rc drift car?
Yes of course, just plug in the receiver in the hsp car and you can start driving it no problem 👍
@@PERTHWESTOZRC that's great I should get my controller next week, how does the abs or the gyro work on it? Is it sort of like traction control ?
I haven't used the abs function, only gyro.. You can change the sensitivity of the gyro on the side dial or turn it off completely.
