@@CookieMusic43 ok ill keep an eye out for it thanks, just got one of his on cd for 50p the last one that you said was rubbish, my listen on the way to work in the morning, cheers richard
Hi Richard!!! another cool episode seeing two of the biggest bands from the 60's/70's.... that's a lot of Stones, i think you're only missing on vinyl a couple of live ones i have on cd "Stripped", "The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus" and "Live Licks" another good ones seems to be "No Security". The only Who's album i have on vinyl is "The Who's Next". cheers and be well
Its great when you are so succinct and damming. Needless to say I am a big fan of down in the hole on Emotional Rescue but sometimes you are a little more warming to the blues Richard...
Songs like Love In Vain, Honest I Do and I Can't be Satisfied escape from the "Blues Bin" for me and I really like them. Down in the Hole doesn't I'm afraid.
Didn't expect you to be the kind of Stones fan to have all of their albums. I much prefer the Who's 70's albums to their 60's albums, but they did have excellent singles during the 60's not that they didn't have good albums too. My fave the Who album is Who By Numbers. Pasi
Yes, GHS is one of the best RS albums, does not get a lot of notice. Quadrophenia is best when one has the time and inclination to listen from start to finish....while Who's Next is one of my favourites from all bands....
OK....two bands I'm very selective about. Stones - I'm not sure why, but I've never fully gotten into their music. I love most of their classics from the 1960's, but my top three by them all come from the 70s and 80s - "Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker)", "Miss You", and "Waiting On A Friend" are my all time favorites by them. I also surprisingly loved "Angry" from the new album, I say that because what I heard from their last several albums just left me flat, so it was a nice surprise. The Who - allthough I don't have a lot of their albums (OK the only one I own is the one EVERYBODY owns - "Tommy" - heh heh), I have quite a few singles by them. I almost prefer Daltrey as a solo performer over his group stuff - "Free Me" from "McVicker" (which I see was noticeably absent from your collection...hmmm) is by far my favorite of his songs, with "Without Your Love" a close second. And I generally like Pete Townsend's solo stuff too, especially "Let My Love Open The Door", which is just one of my favorite early 80s songs overall. And being a "Tommy" fan, I loved the stage show they did (we've seen it three times), the movie, not so much - it's interesting once, but it's not really very good, and Kim LOATHES it...looking forward to the Kinks and Bee Gees....and looking forward to what you have to say about my takes on "Living Eyes" and "ESP", heh heh...cheers!

Thanks Stephen, I really do recommend Jagger's Wandering Spirit if you haven't heard it.

I started buying the Stones studio albums in 1982 when I was 16. Aftermath was the first followed by Between the Buttons.
Awesome video have a wonderful day ❤😊
Thanks!

Glad you also appreciate GHS Bill
At least we can agree that Who by Numbers is very underrated 😉 👍.
More Solo Roger than I was expecting
The solo Roger albums were all extremely cheap although still no really worth it.
Someday I'm gonna change your mind about "Think" even though it may take a long, long while.
I'd add a few more Longs in there Jeff
