Awesome ranking video. My favourite by the Stones is Exile On Main St.
Thank you!
Love it man, you should do Led Zeppelin next!
Thanks! I’ll do Led Zeppelin when I’m done with The Doors! Been looking forward to Led Zeppelin!
Great list!

Very nice video on a quiet challenging task. Sticky Fingers is my all time Stones favorite, especially with the fantastic Doug Sax master THX Chris
That's a pretty solid list my man. My biggest issue is Undercover being second to last. Undercover is more than solid, take another listen or two. I love that freaking album. It's better than Voodoo Lounge and Steel Wheels. Hackney Diamonds is amazing but you have it slightly too high probably. Goat's Head Soup gotta be in their top ten as well.
Thanks! I really don’t seem to get into Undercover really…
My Top 20 Stoners:
20. Out of Our Heads
19. Dirty Work
18. Black and Blue
17. A Bigger Bang
16. Aftermath
15. It’s Only Rock and Roll
14. Bridges to Babylon
13. Hackney Diamonds
12. Emotional Rescue
11. Their Satanic Majesties Request
10. Between the Buttons
9. Undercover
8. Voodoo Lounge
7. Goats Head Soup
6. Some Girls
5. Tattoo You
4. Beggars Banquet
3. Let It Bleed
2. Stick Fingers
1. Exile on Main Street
Awesome! Exile on 1!
Sticky
Love that! Quote of the year
“What is going on here”?
LMAO
Thank you!
I'll back you up on 'Hackney Diamonds' and 'Black & Blue', they are mercilessly discriminated by purists simply because they have shinier production values but IMHO they have some of Rolling Stone's best songs on them. 'Bite My Head Off', 'Sweet Sounds of Heaven', 'Memory Hotel' etc... ;)
Memory Motel
Great list!! Exile on #1 for me for sure.
Btw around the 10:30 mark you said "sam cooke is one of the greatest vocalists alive " so i looked him up and it says he was killed in 1964 actually lol
Did I say alive? Not that ever lived? Damn that would be a mistake, I actually saw the documentary about his murder.
Excellent list. Good choices. For the most part I agree with you. Exile is my number 1, but I won’t argue with anyone that has any order of Exile, Sticky, and Let It Bleed in their top three. Beggar’s banquet too. I will say that Undercover is a criminally underrated record. I’d put that much higher. My biggest contention, however, would be Goats Head Soup, which I consider their most underrated. In fact, I’d include it in their top five with the string of great records from 68-73. It’s simply incredible. I have a couple of US pressings, a UK pressing, and the Giles Martin remix. The UK was very muddy and veiled. The U.S. pressings aren’t as bad as everyone says they are. The best one is the Giles Martin….much more dynamic and punchy.
From Beggars Banquet to Tattoo are all great albums
Tattoo You is top 10 for starters.
Top 10? I think that’s really high. Why would you put it there?
@@top5records796Why’s it high? It’s really good. Some of those earlier albums you ranked ahead of it are definitely weaker in my opinion
@@JCStorm76 interesting! Why do you think they are weaker?
@@top5records796 The first 4 or 5 albums aren’t anything special. After that they obviously get much better. They’re just not as memorable as Tattoo You to my ears but we all hear things differently
The name of the album ranked #14 is "It's Only Rock 'n Roll"!
Satanic majesties and between the buttons are my favourites
Very good ranking! Of course we have our little differences, I tend to prefer Out of Our Heads over RS2, I'd rank Undercover higher than Voodoo and Emotional/Tattoo probably a bit higher too but the rest is quite close! I can put either Sticky or Let It Bleed on top. I did love Hackney, didn't rank it yet but it deserves a good position, maybe below all the classics including Goat and Black and Blue though. You surprised with Blue and Lonesome, didn't pay much attention to it.. Need to play it again!
Just found your channel. I quite enjoyed this video and I can't say I disagree with it. There are a couple of albums which I don't think of quite as highly. I wonder if you plan on reviewing any of The Stones live albums?
Thanks! I actually am planning on doing that. But first I need to get a lot more of them.
I would like to include the leftover album Metamorphosis with a seering side two.
dirty work > Undercover
In my opinion first 10 albums more or less OK. But the next 15 albums ex-aequo on number 11.👌👌👌👌👌
Thanks!
You lost me when you had Tattoo You at #17 and Emotional Rescue at #18. That's when I stopped watching.
No, perfect spot for these albums. Where else to put them?
He lost me as soon as I saw Dirty Work last. I’ll never understand the hate for the album ever
Agree.@@JCStorm76
@@JCStorm76 interesting! What is it about Dirty Work that appeals to you so much?
@@top5records796 The hard rocking sound
I don't like all the albums after Tattoo You. They are useless
Berggers banquet IS number One or two not more
