- In this video I explored an abandoned hospital named St. Joseph Riverside Hospital. This hospital was very dark and creepy, and as usual I explored it all alone. The city of Warren, Ohio has plans on demolishing the building very soon, and after you watch this video, you will see why. This hospital has sat completely abandoned for 13 years although it looks like it's been abandoned for decades.
Definitely was the one of the creepiest places I've explored!
And yes I have a respirator.

At 7:58 you can see what looks like a very dark hand or something move away as I get closer!!
At 27:37 I heard a strange noise idk if it was a animal or what!
At 29:18 I heard a terrifying deep voice in the room im in, this noise was definitely supernatural y'all the room was empty.
At 29:35 you can hear whispering listening very carefully! Enhance the audio if you can!

Yo, Urbex. I don't know if you will see this comment but, I hope when doing these you're wearing like a respirator or a really good mask. Breathing in all that mold and espestus, bat droppings and who knows what else isn't good for your health. Keep up the amazing work. You deserve so much more recognition.

But yeah, he definitely should. Some of the places he goes to are mad rotten, like one of his other videos with the moldy shelves (if you've seen that one). The worse the water damage, the worse the mold is gonna be.

My mom used to work here after the hospital closed in 96. In like 2004 she was a cook for the offices and she let me and my sister come and she accidentally left me in the basement and down there I had a few ghost encounters. I remember seeing a man hanging on a pipe and then a man smiling at me then chasing me back up the stairs. I also remember seeing an old lady in a wheelchair in one of the hallways.

That hospital also has a morgue so lots of people died there.

@jamiecurran3544 lol that's more than likely, I grew up and live a mile from this place and I'm more than educated on its history.
My mom worked there for 27 years and took the buyout in 1995. It's soo sad to see the destruction, it was a beautiful hospital back in it's day
I definitely heard what sounded like a voice saying something like “bay-ho” at 27:36 and a heavy sigh at 29:17. I listened at 9:08 and heard “hey”. I had trouble hearing the tap at the 10:09 mark. I marked the time stamps a second or two earlier so as no to miss the noises. 7:55 there’s a shadow to your left at the lower right side of the door frame that quickly darts away. That place IS a dump.
7:55 could be this "imps" or what there demons called, that can take form different shapes and sounds
27:36 and 29:17 sounds like metal objects being moved like chair being dragged or something.
I heard the Hey! And I saw the hand on that blue door at 7:58, so creepy! The creepiest part was he was looking at the flooded part and the room with the hand was right behind him.
OK, that black arm that reaches around the door at 7:58 freaked me out. I rewatched it 3 times to make sure I saw what I thought I saw and YEP, super creepy. How do you do this ALONE!!

I saw that too. I kept slowing it down and couldn’t figure out what it was but it was black and scared the shit out of me. I’m definitely not feeling the basement cause I get certain vibes. So creepy.
Definetly gave me chills knowing he didn't see it and then he was standing right in front of that room not knowing the creepiness behind him, omg cringe lol

Hey Mr Hill ... I saw a shadow type of hand at time stamp 7:57 and at 7:59 it goes back into that room it was in ... you can clearly see it grasping the frame of the door. Scary spooky stuff and no wonder it was the creepiest place you been to. You capture stuff what paranonormal people don't. This place was nasty ... 27:36 sounded like a man sneezing ... 29:17 a weird noise sounded like someone breathiing down a pipe now that was scary. I could hear someone walking over the debris so someone was there with you maybe more than 2 people. what a strange creepy scary place. Take care Mr Hill xx

CHRIS FIRST SHADOW TIME STAMP 7:59 HOLY CRAP BROTHA..... YOU HAD TO HAVE SEEN THIS ONE AS IT WAS RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU. I replayed it frame by frame to see if I could identify it and it was a hand. I saw fingers and as it moved away a thumb. PITCH BLACK SHADOW... Creepy man I mean you walked right by it within 5 ft... Would love a collab one day

@@steelgranny9027 did you slow it down and actually I couldn't tell with normal video speed but I slowed it down and I can see the fingers and in the thumb. It's one of the clearest shadows I've ever seen is usually blurry but holy cow

I know you made this 3 yrs ago... but I just watched it for the first time today. Anyway, at about the 8 min mark, when you come up to the hall intersection, there is a blue room to your left. In the bottom right of that doorway is a quick moving shadow.

I kept thinking about the lives of people that both began here and ended here. Really eerie. The heavy breathing while you walk through adds to the creepy vibes. This should be shown nationwide as a documentary so people can see what kind of deterioration can happen in depressed areas when industry shuts down and moves away. There are two big factories that left Warren, too. The whole city is in decay. I grew up near here and am happy to live in San Francisco now. We have nothing like this anywhere. Reminds me of Chernobyl. I saw this from the outside when I was there a few weeks ago. You are brave!

I think those things you were looking at were capacitors for the HVAC. I used to do residential HVAC. Never big industrial stuff. Best guess. Great content btw!

Hey Urbex, I’m actually from the area and I’ve gone into that hospital countless times since I was in 9th grade (I graduated last year and my senior pictures were taken in from of the hospital lolol). Dawg uh, the hand at 7:58 on the doorway is exactly why we refuse to go down to the basement 😭

I lived in Warren Ohio for years and I had been to that hospital numerous times. Sad to see it in such dispare!!! It was a nice building in its hay day!!! Time takes a toll on everything!!!! What a sad end!!

@@mairajalikhan5522 go to like 7:45 and then watch. As soon as those doorways appear on the right, look carefully at the one on the right. It almost looks like a piece of someones clothing or something, ducks back into the room quickly.
@@cmcproductions26 it’s actually on the left.. as he is walking down the hallway there is a big window area to his right at that intersection right before he is about to turn left.. so the black thing that’s at the door way and creeps back in fast is gonna be on his left side right before he turns down that same hallway.. the black thing is in the room with the light blue tiles on the wall.. which will be on his left.. I’m pretty sure it’s not an animal because it’s half way up the door way.. there is no animal that talk lol now unless the thing was at the bottom of the door way then ya could be an animal but this thing was mid door way 😳 look like a black shadow hand to me

Nice quiet exploring, not screaming or yelling or acting childish. This is what I like to watch.
Okay, here goes. I live 1 mile from this hospital. 3 of my children were born there in '88, '91 & '92. This was a good hospital at one time. Every time I go past it I really want to explore it but there's a pretty bad apt. complex across the street and you never know who could wander in. I've heard that it's haunted and that makes me want to go even more lol. I was born in Cleveland and from what I've seen you seem to be based there so I'm really enjoying your videos. I've seen other videos on St. Joe's (that's what we call it) where I've heard something here or there but yours by far captured some awesome stuff. It's so sad to see what's happened to this place. You do a great job and I'm hooked on your videos because this was the first one that caught my eye when I was looking for something else. I just watched the video on the old Westinghouse factory and that was something from my childhood. We had friends in Euclid and when we'd come back at night from visiting (we'd come home on the Shoreway, the Westinghouse sign was always lit up and we were almost home. I've only been watching your stuff for about a week but I love it and thank you for sharing and sometimes scaring the hell out of me lol like the church where the piano played 1 note and the chairs fell over. You have a new fan and subscriber. 👍

Reminds me of this place I went to in Tallahassee called Sunnyland. It was this old tuberculosis hospital that got torn down a few years back.

10:01: I am sure that I saw a dark shadowy figure at the end of the room. It moved away as you got closer and pointed the flash at it. This figure previously covered the power box, then you could see it in its entirety.
You said it would be demolished later in 2021...so it's probably gone now.
It's a little sad that something built as late as the 60s already is _expired_ ─Thanks for documenting it (although I missed some narration when you were inside the hospital).

Funny thing Is this was around a year ago. Now there's barley nothing left. It's all demolished. Aside from the original building and that's half gone. But it's still got an uneasy feeling. I wonder what the residents see around the half demolished site at night now. It's probably still creepy and I bet the dark spirits from the basement will roam the grass and fill dirt plot when it's done due to the basement getting filled in. Only reason I know this is because am hauling pieces of this hospital away as a dump truck driver. We're just hauling out the steel girders now next week will be the remainder of the girders then all the debris and stuff left. Then then parking lot then fill dirt time and that's it.
We was up there and had cops everywhere so we went on to the land have to get there soon great video man keep it up BE SAFE

Slowing the video down to .25 speed you can still see that blank figure move quickly out of the frame. Then has his back turned to it as he checks the flooded room. Just a few moments after that at 8:25 i hear a instrument strung twice or like a chime noise

Watching so many of your videos, makes me wanna go explore abandoned buildings in my town, and film it. Pretty sure there's a lot here. There's this old 2 story house, down in the ghetto, where I used to live 11 years ago, all boarded up, and old, and spooky looking. I used to walk back, and fourth to my friends house, and back home, and a lot of the times it would be night time. I used to cut through the houses yard, and would end up hearing some pretty scary stuff coming from the house. One time I saw a man standing in the old shed that sits right by the house, and he was just peeking out at me from behind the wall. I figured he was just some homeless guy, and didn't do or say anything. But I'm not so sure about that. That house is STILL there. Maybe I should explore it. What kind of camera do you use? Also, thanks for uploading this yesterday on my birthday.

@@katelynngleason680 I can't find any info online, about possible abandoned buildings in my town. Ill use my phone camera until I can get an actual camera/light setup. But I don't think theres anywhere abandoned here.

Here’s some things I caught with headphones on: 16:22 possibly “hey”; 22:44 something says “I do” or “got you”; 29:35 breathes or whispers over your voice; 30:39 a soft “here” or “hey”; 39:18 eager whispering sounds like “watch him walk away”; 31:25 another “hey”; 31:29 sounds like a dog barking. Voices from people nearby can’t be ruled out, as we see when you step out into the courtyard. But in most of these captures you are deep inside the belly of the beast, so we can’t discount them as being actual EVPs. Considering that this would be extremely difficult for you to fake - it would be almost impossible not to hear if someone else was around in that environment - I have to say you’re collecting some good evidence of possible paranormal activity. The “deep voice” is the only capture that sounds like it could be from a person hiding out in there somewhere, but as with the shadowy hand at 7:58-ish, it would be a hard fake. And that hand! It’s made creepier by the fact that it’s not the typical fake shadow person head peeking around corners, and the thing just doesn’t look as if it’s attached to anything human. URBEX-ers always catch the best evidence because typically they’re not going in there actually looking for something paranormal to occur. They’re also usually skeptical of the supernatural, and so when they do catch stuff, it generally merits a good review. Great work! I hope you’re using respirators and carrying some kind of protection, and also that you’re letting someone know when you go off on these explorations. Stay safe, and remember, you have more to fear from the living than from ghosts of the dead or spirits ... usually. 😉
Hey thanks for that I really appreciate that!!! Im not faking anything but what people need to also realize is homeless people literally live in abandoned places so they can never be rule out. How do we know that wasn't just a homeless person in the dark?
@@URBEXHILL right! It could have been someone who knows the place in and out. I just feel that it’s so dark inside, especially where you were, that someone without a flashlight or even a lighter wouldn’t be able to move around easily. That’s why I know you definitely aren’t setting any of this up! It would be a logistical challenge - not to mention extremely eerie - to “plant” someone at just the right spot to stage something. That’s also why I worry for you while I’m watching lol! I love your videos and the historic places you go; so glad I caught you on Nuke’s! Please stay safe, though! Wouldn’t want your health to suffer, or you to encounter some creepy people - and definitely don’t want anything supernatural to follow you home! 😉🖤
@@alyneorleans5018 yeah your right it would be extremely hard to navigate in the dark but the more I watch this video the more I feel like it was a homeless person in that room that probably saw my light coming down the hallway so he was peaking around the corner and ducked back in the room as I got closer and the only part of the person we saw was there black hand.
And maybe the noise were just animals. Idk I need to rationalize this or ima stop going in abandoned places for good..

I saw bits of this video on another channel that gathered clips but I cannot remember what channel it was but I think it was last year. I had no idea it was your video. They showed the part where the hand was in the beginning.
Anyway, I grew up with my family using this hospital. My grandparents home is just 2 streets over. My grandmother died in the emergency room here in Dec 1989. 3 of my 4 kids were born here (1990, 92 & 94). The section you showed last on the outside, the top floor was maternity & the last window towards the front was my room with my 1st & 3rd stay. My 2nd stay was a few rooms down in the front, 2nd to last window. My aunt was a candy striper here too. It is so sad to see it like this & it is so bad, I could not even tell what parts you were in. I had my 7th grade scoliosis xrays done here (& man am I glad I kept them) & I had stitches in my hand in the emergency room. My 2nd born stayed 2 nights here when he was 3 weeks old in the pediatric department when he was sick. We passed the front of the hospital 2 times every week to visit my grandparents & all our Christmas Eve's were at their house so I saw this hospital all the time growing up. I have so many memories & it is just so sad, it is gone now, they started demo in the end of 2022. I havent lived in Ohio for the past 8 years so everything still looks the same as it used to when I think about it. I dont think I want to see it all gone or something else there & luckily, I have no reason any more to be in that area since both my grandparents are gone.
How dare it be called a "cancer." This could still be a functional hospital, helping the people of Warren. How fickle and heartless people can be.

Я заметил несколько странных явлений в этом видео, первое явление уже проявляется в начале видео как только он заходит в здание, камера начинает сама по себе терять фокус и мутнеет буквально на секунду, второе явление это рука на дверном проёме, рука необычная и не похоже на человеческую руку, рука довольно длинная и массивная, длинные пальцы как будто с огромным когтями как у зверя или снежного человека, как только он приближается к двери рука исчезает и уходит прочь, это существо чтобы то ни было не хочет засветиться на камеру, третье явления опять тот же фокус камеры теряется, как будто на стекло камеры повлияло атмосферное изменения, стекло помутнело это явно не хорошо в таком месте, это говорит о том что здесь есть паранормальная активность.
