At 12:49 - 13:05 you can hear walking on the floor above me. And you can hear it again at 13:14 - 13:18 .
28:02 - 28:16 you can see the door moving on is own (maybe the wind) and then you can hear a strange voice and what sounds like keys jingling near by.

I visited this place in 2016, but sadly I didn't get to go inside. My grandfather at the time was actually living at the retirement home down the road from Molly Stark. Before we started off for home we stopped to look at the old hospital and to hunt down a geocach. I actually found an old glass syringe and a few other things from under an old tree that had falling over. Still have them. Glad to see Molly Stark is still standing and thanks for posting these videos. The creepy stuff is definitely interesting, especially when you factor in all the death this place has witnessed.

I love that you don't talk a lot in your videos! The one thing that annoys the ever love out of me is when people explore and talk loudly through the entire thing. It adds a certain creepy factor to your videos but also let's the viewers really experience what you are to hear anything out of the ordinary. Props to you cause wholly crap some of the things you've come across are terrifying!

      What films do you make?

    • @afwalker1921
      @afwalker1921 2 года назад +6

@@URBEXHILL I specialize in low-budget horror. My first (write/produce/direct) was a thing called BURNING, filmed in 2015, about a fire demon in a school like MIT on the East Coast. The monster came out of one student's lust for a girl, and it burned up every male in the dorm whom this young man would have considered competition for him until it went after the girl. He got in between and was incinerated. The monster came from him, and with him gone it disappeared too.
My second was an attempt to film a remake of Day of the Triffids in England, in 2017. Islamist terrorist attacks (do you remember the Ariana Grande bombing in Manchester?) put an end to my location work as the London municipal police didn't have enough people to protect the city and also supervise my efforts, and I lost all my filming permits. We have four months of beautiful studio work in the can, but the movie remains uncompleted. I could finish it with CGI, but it would be expensive to do so.
Were it not for the persistence of this damned pandemic, I should have already filmed a remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street, shooting Wes Craven's 1984 epic with the better camera technology that's available now. Right now it's still expected that everyone who comes on set be tested for COVID-19 before they're allowed in, and the cost of insurance would blow your mind! Having spent two years on hold, I have used the time to write a screenplay for a horrible little treat about an island in the Caribbean that's invaded by giant spiders. Everybody dies! One of my actress friends insists it's the kind of movie where theatergoers will demand their money back twenty minutes in, not because it's stupid but because it's too scary to sit through. It will have an all-black cast and I intend to film it in French with English subtitles. I love my job...
Seriously, you have some mad skills with your focus and lighting and you have a steady hand. I'd hate to take you away from what you're doing, but if you could get into a film school somewhere you could become a necessary part of someone's operation, particularly in television production. Go watch some TV! Handheld is more common today, and the people who can do it well make big bucks, but you need a technical education in the high-dollar cameras to pursue this. Everything changes month-to-month on set, and even I struggle to keep up with the latest machines. I'm also into ghosthunting, and the footage you got in the Molly Stark facility is (with enhancement) about the best image of a physical manifestation I have seen. I know you're an urban explorer, but this also belongs on TV, before a wider audience. I don't doubt that it's genuine, and that's important...

@@afwalker1921 wow thats awesome!!! That sucks it cost so much money though.

What''s more, someplace you visit might inspire one of my stories, the way Stephen King's stay at the Stanley Hotel gave us THE SHINING. Who knows? Documenting the decaying properties of the old days is valuable. You go places I wouldn't dare to go. Keep up the good work, and remember that your videos are your resume, whatever future you choose to pursue. Break a leg!

I just came across, and watched it, but they react to the Molly Stark video, and then the video where you explore the church, and in the end the piano plays by itself, and the chair slams down on its own. It's pretty interesting to watch them talk about certain energy's that they are feeling, and they said they could feel a presence at the Molly Stark place as well. I worked in the medical field my entire career; not a doctor, but worked for and with doctors and nurses. And you can really tell the age of the equipment in this hospital. Something struck me as interesting--upon going into rooms which have rebar hanging and ceiling tiles hanging and just totally delapidated, you will see a perfectly clean light bulb or light fixture in place. The contrast is a trip in itself, lol. Interesting how even the lab cabinets and medical cabinets are sooo old. But this was a brilliant hospital in it's day I think. The architecture is beautiful. Imagine taking that TV and taking out the guts and put in an aquarium.... Another bloody brilliant vid, my friend.

      EKG machines. Glass thermometers
      We had to sterilize
      Metal
Bed pans. Hand crank beds. Ah. The good old

Wow, what a beautiful place that must have been. The foyer, arched windows, and the balconies are just stunning. I don’t understand why in the US these places are not listed as historical, and therefore have to be saved. In my country a lot of the old hospitals are converted into beautiful flats or they separate the property into four bedroom homes. Can you imagine how lovely it would be to live in that hospital. There were definitely some noises, I suppose with a high percentage of people dying there will be residual or spirit energy. How strange for a hospital to have ceiling fans in the rooms. I love how the rooms have that entry area with the drawers & big closets but I suppose many patients lived there so it had to have something like that. I also noticed how the toilets were 2 or 3 together with no dividers, was one a bidet or did you just poop with a friend next to you? Very weird, lol. I would love to have some of those doors & light fixtures, plus all that railing. So much can still be salvaged from there but these places will rather it fall in then just bulldoze it when there are things that could be given away or sold. Architectural salvage is a big business.

The scary part about TB is that it's still a huge issue in the US prison system and then down here where I live along the Mexican border. It's almost assumed that if you've been in prison or in jail long enough here, you'll have a good chance of having TB, whether dormant or not (my former partner's was dormant).
In my area, the Department of Health gives free testing and treatment for TB without the need for payment or ID. So, even people from Mexico in need of TB treatment can get it without feeling like they're risking something somehow. I find that's a huge deal considering how bad it is down here. Way too many infected people going back and forth across the border, in public, coughing on everything.... It's not even a joke. Before COVID came along, TB was my biggest consistent illness fear in public down here. It's worse than people think. It's even scarier, as I was saying, because TB is one of those things that becoming resistant to antibiotics.... We'll be back where we were 100 years ago at this rate.

I used to work at the Washington State DOH public health laboratory. It is located right next to an abandoned TB asylum (Firland Sanitorium). I was always curious about the place but never explored it, even though it was located on the same state owned plot of land. I was working on some newer informatics projects and they really had no place for us, and so the plan was to move our team into part of the old asylum after renovation. It never happened because reasons, but that would have been the coolest office space ever.
EDIT: Don't try to go there. The health lab contains some...uh...dangerous specimens, and they don't fk around about security.
