The difference between Oliver Glasner and Roy Hodgson is like night and day. The current manager is full of positivity, the team is playing great football and you can see the confidence flowing through the team. If Palace can keep the current squad of players at Selhurst Park, I see great potential for next season!
Glasner is a good coach. Took Eintracht Frankfurt to the Europa league final. Im starting see why and how. He plays good pressing attacking football and has gotten the most out of players like Munoz, Olise, Eze, Mateta who I previously considered hopeless, and Adam Wharton, a guy who no one had heard of before this season.
@ryanoh7212 Matteta was never hopeless , he was superb before us , that's why we bought him . Adam has gone from England U 18 to U 21 to Prem to verge of senior England side in 18 months but YOU have only just heard of him . His brother is nearly as good
He kinda reminds me of Wegner for some reason. His personality and mentality are signs of a great manager! His positivity, compassion and gentle demeanor mixed with a brilliant mind and focused game plan is key when developing amazing players and getting them to perform at the highest level. If you look at Ten Hag, he’s a stubborn, nervous and arrogant coach. He excelled in Ajax because it was in his home country and he clearly had an easier time connecting with players. Now he’s in Manchester United, probably the proudest club in England and his management style has gotten cynical and arrogant. A good project manager can withstand bad press and look toward the future to build a real dream, which is probably what we will see from postecoglou and pottechino, but not Ten Hag or Tuchel. Because the latter are too arrogant and lack the club focused mentality that the former have. Glasner is not much of a project manager, he’s the type that can build something out of nothing. He took a team who was nearing relegation and made them believe in themselves. Tactics aside, his mentality and attitude is what’s making the players play in peak form. Which is something you won’t see from Ten Hag or Tuchel. Their brilliant minds can never muster a team mentality like Glasner has at Palace. What an amazing coach. The fact that the turn in quality happened so quickly is proof that the team was already an A tier team, they just needed a guy like Glasner.
I said to my wife yesterday there is something Arsene Wenger about him. Massive compliment, I hope he can have 50% of Wengers impact over coming seasons
Never was and never will! It's just the fact that he's austrian, let some people think he's underrated. Really happy for the Eagles they got him as an manager. The club deserved him.

Oliver Glasner is praised endlessly in England. Look at what he's doing with Crystal Palace. We chased him out of the yard. Incomprehensible !!!

@ryanoh7212 you thought EZE and Olise were useless. Do you own a Golden Retriever ?
