Technology can be a very good thing. We are living longer, and better, because of it. But, as with most things, there is a danger of overuse. And, visual technology makes it easy to live in a bubble. We see what we want to see, not the entirety of what is really out there. The members of the band all represent something that is especially meaningful to them. Tuomas loves the natural world, but it is all too easy to be a visual activist, all the while depending on those things that are degrading nature. Marko has spent years medicated for a problem (depression) that was not really the problem, but a symptom of an underlying one (ADHD). Floor is a mother of young children and so on. The more you watch this video, the more you see. It took me a while to see that Troy's crown was an oil derrick, though I did notice that his throne was a toilet. Very thought provoking video. Even the background images says something. Example the little girl was dressed up like one of those girls mothers trophy of like the show Toddlers in Tiaras with eye liner on shows her crying trying to get away from her mother played by Floor you can see the eye makeup streaming down and in the background a mist covered Carnival not being utilized for the child or any children while mother just wants to video or celfie pics with the child then it shows the child under the dress which looks like bars.
Just to add check out the character played by Troy he's like a king with a crown that looks like an oil refinery sitting on a throne which is a golden toilet above him in the background a famous American monument and above that a Pyramid ?. Again very mysterious thought provoking.
The whole video is loaded with irony. Examples: The "OnlyFans" model in the video is Jessica Edström, an actual Instagram model who is also a Nightwish fan. Every mirror shown in the video is cracked.. The "Green Man" (Tuomas) holds up signs both for and against nuclear power.
🤩👍💥💯🎼 We´ve already "lost" couple of generations for ´The Black Mirror´, which has us in a leash via numerous screens all over our surroundings. Lost of detachment, a balanced contact, with nature. This far we don´t even have one common ideology in use to share and practice as in unity within the whole human kind. 🤘😎💙🎶
