So if I wanted to keep my time to New York est then my neutral zone would be between the high/low of 2am - 3am? Because GMT will be 7am -8am? - Also… Is there a neutral zone like this for the New York open? Thanks in advance for everything! However, I wish to ask: what is the difference between the opening channel and the Initial Balance?
You could say that the opening channel is the Initial Balance of the Frankfurt session.

This is great. I have one simple question. Does the channel go from the opening price of Frankfurt to the opening price of London, or from the low of one opening candle to the high of the other?
The channel draws the high and low of that period.

First time I have left a comment on your channel. I trade for a living. This system looks very workable to me and I am gong to backtest and forward test the heck out of it. Thank you for your incredibly well presented videos and no hype communication. IMO, you are a true teacher.
Hi Jonny! I use TMA Forex Session , but only European Session in the Settings on the last 8 to 10 weeks, and plot a line in the middle of each 8.00 Hour Candle . It ist less work and the lines are very accurate, you will see. In combination with EMA 50, and Price Action, it works very well. If Price crosses above the line and the 50 EMA long and vice versa. I prefer to trade with an Algo , based on Indicators on Daily timeframe for Swingtrading but in case of daytrading this could be very helpful to filter out bad Signals. Have a nice Weekend. This strategy is a game changer for real! Awesome. I have been backtesting it tho and I think I need some clarification as to when to enter a trade. There are a lot of false breakouts. Follow up please!

I haven't tried yet, but this is where indicators or price action can help I believe. Did you add the 200ema? i saw some false breakouts too, so I'm about to study now, going to add my Moving Averages.
Good strategy please tell one thing can we average up according to the up price movement or buy all at once?

Are you blindly opening the trade on the breakout? Or waiting an amount of pips in the same direction?
I don't open the position blindly. You could add other elements to confirm the direction.

Find out when London opens in YOUR time zone and apply the box.

The support and resistances are actually very accurate on BTC and ETH, unfortunally I found that crypto moves way too quick to trade on the 5 mins chart, by the time I put the order on the price already moved on.

Wait. So theres GMT, and then there’s BST. They are an hour apart I thought. London opens at 8am BST, which is 7am GMT. Can you simplify this in terms of the FX Marekt indicator? Are we simply using the hour before London open (blue box appears) as the channel? Is this correct?

This is amazing. I have 3 questions however. Please help me to understand…
1) For crypto, is it using the London open? I see the box is blue, so I’m just confirming. I always wondered w that being a 24/7 global market.
2) Suppose price closes outside the channel at the start of the session so you open a position. Then during the day price goes back inside the channel, but doesn’t hit your stop loss on the other end of the channel. If the session ends with price inside the channel like that then, would you just keep the trade open? I guess you would have to by the rules of the strategy
3) Do you still avoid trading on Monday and Friday? Many traders caution others not to trade on these two days due to low liquidity and market makers.
At the end of the day I close the position and wait for the next box.

I love this!!! I am back testing and seeing excellent trends. Also, I am amazed at this working for Crypto as well, I have noticed many moves happening overnight when I am sleeping (NY EST) and wondered how one could capitalize on that....this may be a good strategy for that...any thoughts on why crypto is affected the same as the forex market? Is it just the fact that Europe is playing a big part of crypto trading and the moves there are making the movement in the US?

his screen has UTC +3 so I think that makes it 06:00 GMT to 07:00 GMT, though I don't know how that works if BTC is not traded on either Frankfurt or London stock exchanges.

i thought on another video of yours regarding breakouts you mentioned if it goes below (for example) you dont take the trade but then wait for the crossing of the opposite side to take the trade???

I am confused about the RSI indicator suggestion. Does the example from 14:11 suggests that a buy should be triggered when RSI>50? At the point when the breakout from the channel is confirmed, the RSI is already close to 70. Wouldn't that actually be a suggestion to wait it out instead of trading?

Watch our RSI videos. Basically, when RSI is at 70, it means the trend is strong.
Sure but at the same time, an rsi going above 70 indicates an overbought commodity. Wouldn't that therefore make it a very risky trade?
RSI is a momentum indicator, with a higher rsi is stronger momentum. Generally a rsi range above 50 Is indicative of an uptrend.

I think he is saying that when RSI > 50, that only buys should be considered. Price remained above the 200 ma which indicated still bullish and when price broke above the channel, then as you say , the buy would be triggered there, not where the RSI c/o the 50. Ride it as long as you can according to your trading plan, then exit. RSI can stay overbought/oversold for a long time where more revenue can be earned in those areas so if a trigger is missed, then the trader can be missing out on potential revenue. It's not so much when RSI enters these areas as it it when it LEAVES them! Drawing trend lines for c/o's on RSI helps a lot for entries/exits! Using more than one indicator helps. His video on elder ray bull and bear power being a game changer is exceptional! He has some very good moving average videos that are very helpful, one having to do with the 21 & 55 ma's and the dynamic zone. I hope this helps and wish you success!
