The Wyckoff Methodology in Depth: How to trade financial markets logically (Trading and Investing Course: Advanced Technical Analysis Book 1)
I trade strictly Wyckoff. The only indicators I use are the 200ma and volume. 200ma gives me the overall trend and the volume lets me know when the markup or markdown is soon to happen (start making determinations at this time).
Learn to read the patterns of Wycoff and it makes trading fairly easy/predictable. I can generally get 50 pips per day with a single markup or down, sometimes 80+ with several markups and downs per day.

What timeframe do you trade?
I follow my trades on the 1hr and make my entries on the 15min.
I can see the details of wyckoff more clearly on the 15min than I can other timeframes.
If u can elaborate further, plse do so.
So, following Wyckoff, u disregard traditional s/r?
Yes I disregard traditional support and resistance but I do recognize areas of support and resistance within the pattern itself with the knowledge price will linger around or possibly pull back some in these areas when I'm placing my entry.
The areas of supply and demand, accumulation and distribution, are generally viewed as larger areas of support and resistance in themselves where price lingers and eventually breaks out from. Learning the Wyckoff pattern within these areas is an accurate prediction of that breakout.
I always thought the Wyckoff method is complicated, even as a summary. But you made it such that a beginner like me can understand the concept. Can't wait for the advanced version. Great teacher and thumbs up!

Most Excellent Explanation and Analysis. I am an old man. About 60 years ago I borrowed the Wyckoff Course from a friend and laboriously made copies on the New IBM Photocopier at the college library. It cost me a nickel a page. For cost comparison a 6 oz bottle of Coca-Cola at the time was 6 cents, the machines took a nickel and a penny. My education budget for the year was $1,000-$1,200 dollars, that was tution, room and board, books and everything, but I could make about that much in a summer. My personal "entertainment" budget was $10 per week and that included laundry and dry cleaning. I didn’t have a lot of fun, but that's not the reason I was there. And I did get a degree which has paid for itself a thousand times over. Neither of my parents graduated from high school and I was the first to get a degree in a very large family with many cousins. Knowledge is priceless, but its tricky and takes experience to apply.

I just found out today regarding this method and it is amazing. i need to do lots of backtesting. In daytrading, Im using 45 range chart on the NQ, volume up and down below, candlestick + eiquivolume which makes the candlesstick wider when plenty of volume executed during the mark up/down. 15 minutes chart on the left side to see the levels but seriously, the lever we need to really watch is the high and low of the range during ACCUM/DISTRI phase. this is the holy grail IMO because volume is one of the very few indicators that is reliable. Thank you my friend.

@@TheSecretMindset one question, in the examples, a lot of the high volume indicators seem to come several candles after the breakouts, is that normal? I'm watching bitcoin now, obv it has broken out of accumulation but, the accumulation didn't have higher lows and the volume is still low on the daily candles, despite the huge run, should I assume this is a supply shortage squeeze rather than a high demand? Would you class the past two months as a Wyckoff accumlation phase, despite the lack of higher lows?

Sometimes there is accumulation and continuation instead of reversals, this happens quite often especially when there is a news event related to the instrument you are trading.

That Exxon chart at the end looked iffy. For identifying higher/lower volume are you just looking at the tops of volume spikes? Or are you looking at those tops of vol spikes only when the volume is otherwise consistent?

It's standard volume indicator on Tradingview, Green=bullish volume, Red=bearish volume.
