    I'm SOOO sorry for the late upload!! I had an unexpected interview and several tests last weekend and I had to spend tons of time for preparing it so I couldn't make videos ㅠ_ㅠ I'm alive anyway!
    I tried to find some copyright free videos or magazines to put in and describe it for beginners but I couldn't find one so I tried to do this TPRS session. It's usually for real class or real time online class with many interaction between the guide and learners so I'm a bit worried it might not be effective as we want. But I'll never stop to figure out better ways!
    Also I'll make videos for intermediate learners at the same time so don't worry :)))
    THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST!!!

    New Subscriber! Thank you very much, I think you and Miss Vicky are the only Korean language teachers that use CI +1 for us serious language learners. I am curious, are you a graduate student? Are making these videos part of your curriculum? Do Korean unis teach with CI?

    • @ComprehensibleInputKorean
      @ComprehensibleInputKorean  2 года назад +82

      Welcome!! Thank you for watching! :))) Actually my major is management, not teaching Korean as a foreign language😂 I just got interested in teaching language like 3years ago and decided to do it as a profession. So I studied myself and won the certificate.
      And so I'm not sure if Korean unis are teaching any language with CI. But I'm pretty sure they're not teaching 'how to teach' with CI. It's almost bare field in Korea😂
      So I'm making these videos purely for my personal interest!(and for my wallet lol) I really wanted to learn other languages but I couldn't find ideal stuff in my mind. So I decided to make it myself. Hopefully if this channel goes well, then other people in the world are gonna make these kind of channels too, and then everyone could enjoy language learning better and easier! I know it's just throwing pebbles to fill the river, but I believe it's worth to try😂

      @@ComprehensibleInputKorean Definitely worth the try - when people see others making something get an appetite to make the same thing too. And seeing it from different people who all have different styles and flair inspires from different angles. Your videos may just be the example that gives someone that special dose of inspiration and push. When I was first introduced to the concept of mindmaps I thought it was so silly, pretentious and much less useful than the hype the teacher gave it. But when I learned about mindmaps from someone else who presented differently I was hooked, I love mindmaps now. Hey, I might try doing this in Bulgarian! I like the format in which you're doing it. And to would be good practice for me, my dream is to become a language teacher and a learning coach.

    Markiplier shouted you out on his podcast and said you were a good underrated channel that he watches. I think your videos are very helpful. It is easy to understand without needing subs because you visualize and repeat so well that it is easy to catch on to meanings. Though I will say it is hard to know what videos to watch based on skill lvl. No indication of what you need to know before going in to each video. I am a beginner though so I don't know how much I don't know. So I could be missing something, though it hasn't been to much of an issue for me, but I can see how it would stump a lot of beginners. 잘했어요.

    Oh, man. I've been looking for something like this for so long. Just starting out in Korean, it seems impossible to find input that's comprehensible. I've just been watching native-level type of content on Netflix. This is exactly what I needed. So thankful!

    Thanks for this you totally nailed the CI content. The content was a little below my current level, but it was still super helpful bc it's the first time that I have completely understood Korean dialogue without needing to read the Korean subtitles. Basically my reading skills are way better than my listening so I have to read the transcripts in order for me to understand. But your video helped me to not have to do that. 감사합니다
