- Renault reveals the high-performance version of the Rafale: Renault Rafale E-Tech 4x4 300 hp Atelier Alpine. This is the fruit of all the brand's know-how and the expertise of the Alpine Cars teams in terms of ride and handling performance.
Its new plug-in hybrid powertrain offers the best of both worlds, ICE and electric, with a preference for everyday electric driving and a total WLTP range of up to 1,000 km. The addition of an electric motor to the rear axle gives the brand's flagship a permanently active 4-wheel drive system. Chassis adjustments by Alpine Cars engineers and intelligent active suspension give the Renault Rafale E-Tech 4x4 300 hp Atelier Alpine a high level of handling and driving pleasure.

La voiture est laide, qu'on ne se mente pas. Autant de buzz, pour une Arkana légèrement gonflée à la créatine. Nous sommes en 2024, et Renault se propose d'utiliser un nom tel que Rafale pour un petit modèle comme ça...?!? La voiture manque d'ambition.

@@onemanshow94miniclips73 Yeah don't know what to say, will be a phev, so in the city the car will use mostly the electric motor, and I am sure it won't be 50k, a Renault cannot be that much :))

😂🤣😂🤣 Alpine name does't match with "max speed 180 km/h". Even the first R5 Alpine in the Seventies run faster! Ok, it was powered by a Cleon fonte 1.397 cm3... 4 cyl instead of 3

Nissan Ariya AWD Family SUV = 390hp and 0-100 in 5,1 seconds, Renault Rafale (more pricey) High Performance SUV = 300hp and 0-100 in 6,4 seconds... both are from the same group and could have used the same powertrain... Ahhh Renault 🤯
You know the Nissan Ariya is full electric while the Rafale is a combustion hybrid engine right? And im sure the majority wants an Hybrid over an electric car.

@@stickygeiden you’re missing the point, an expensive “performance“ SUV shouldn’t be slower than a cheaper family electric SUV. Whoever is spending 60k on a 1.2l SUV that’s as powerful as an entry level tesla model Y RWD is an idiot. Performance hybrid French cars aren’t reliable and don’t sell well (look at the Peugeot 508 PSE), but considering how relatively good the Nissan Ariya is selling, this would probably do well if he had the same AWD 390hp double electric engine in it. Hopefully they will add that option down the line, although they might only use it on their upcoming Alpine SUV as it rumored.
If in all cases an expensive performance SUV should always have more power than a "family" electric SUV (although you are mentioning the "Performance" version of the awd Ariya in this case which, at least in my own country, will be just as expensive, if not more expensive (70K euro vs 65K euro) than this 300hp awd Rafale), then all performance SUV's should have 600+ hp.....it's that insane already.... However performance contains a lot more than just horsepower. I think 300 hp is just about right for the type of car.
Why would you spend 90K on a Volvo XC90 with 405hp when for 45K you can get a 428hp Volvo EX30... Same brand, no comparison, just like the Ariya vs Rafale.
