I completely fail to comprehend how at any point, no matter how drunk or how young, that this in any way, shape or form was a good idea. I'm absolutely speechless, and I've done some daft stuff over my lifetime.
@@spencerm106 I tend to think this is just how society and the judicial system is now. This sort of thing will get a pass because there isnt much revenue raised by persecuting a young bloke with $0 to his name. There is a lesson or three that will not be quickly forgotten by the young blokes. Owner of the car learned not to let an underage kid allegedly drive his uninsured vehicle, 16 yo kid learned not to trust “mates” he just met that day (every man for himself) and old mate in the toolbox learned what it’s like to be a sardine in a tin when the shopping trolley tips over.

i can make a pretty solid guess as to what happened from my own experiences. young fella was trying to show off tried to drift that corner at id say about 80k and put to much right foot in it when at that speed none would of been needed he wouldnt of had time to even correct it before smacking that stump with the front right which then hit the inside of the left id say he nearly made it 3 complete rolls with abit of pirouetting in there ether that or he did correct it but to much and smacked it with the back left same result just more violent which would explain the cracked engine
I have to disagree with you on the fact that it wasn’t an accident. It was the result of some very poor judgement and decision making, sure, but it wasn’t planned. So by definition it was an accident. Fortunately one with no serious repercussions and hopefully some vital lessons were learnt. Cheers Cob 🍻🍻🍻🇦🇺

I’ve done a lot of 4 wheeling over the years and seen many incidents that could have been avoided. Social media shows a lot of stupid behaviour too! If he had to make an emergency stop, there was no way her could have! I know, I was young once myself, that sense of invulnerability, it won’t happen to me, I’m a good driver, whatever, is a big problem with young drivers and usually they get away with it but every now and then something goes wrong and when it does, it never ends well. Yeah true, us older generation have a wealth of experience and knowledge to share with the younger generation but quite often it falls on deaf ears.
Sadly that sort of stupidity seems all too common. The same attitudes that ruin it for everyone else, cause tracks & camps to be closed and sadly cost lives both on & off the road.
