I went through the broadcasting program before the pandemic, just as the center opened. Not only couldn't they get the up-to-date industry software to work from day one, but there was also no viable backup plan in place. Not one bit of broadcasting has taken place through the center since it opened. As a result, broadcasting has been replaced by podcasting. The center is magnificent but the department staff borders on the incompetent. The program has no relationship with the "college radio station" on campus and no relationship with the host of surrounding media companies.
