Just like Steppenwolf, this game series used to scare me to death. As a kid I often played these games, and had no clue what to do. Usually I'd end up dying. Arcane: The Stone Circle was the second game on my channel, played and recorded back in 2013. I thought it was time to replay the game and record it in higher quality. Enjoy!

The Stone Circle, season two of the Arcane: Online Mystery Serial, is a classic investigative-style point-and-click game, consisting of eight breathtaking episodes. Play as a one of the detectives and gather all clues and solve the mystery! Solve the puzzles before it's too late.
In the beginning only chaos existed, and the old ones ruled over the entire universe. But as aeons passed new gods came into existence and an epic struggle followed, and The Great Ancients were stricken down and banished beyond the frontiers of the universe. Rage has consumed these great ancients ever since, and they are obsessed with their one and only goal, restore their reign of chaos. Can you stop the evil cult, the Elder Star, from restoring the Great Ancients to power over Earth?

I played this game in 2008, so much memories... And still a good game after years.
Yo man , I'm wondering if you could help me find an old game that I've been searching for it forvever , the concept is you push stones into graves in order to open gates to go to another level i remember there was spiders and stuff like that

So frustrated this series ended on such a huge cliffhanger. If Arcane had a bigger fanbase, I'd suggest petitioning WB to start it up again and give it a proper conclusion. But it was obscure even at the time it was released, so there's not much likelihood that'll ever happen. Besides, it was supposed to conclude at the turn of the millennium, which has long passed us now and would just feel... awkward if it were released today.
I honestly wish I could see this game as an AAA remake. There's many games out there that don't need nor deserve a remake but this certainly isn't one of them.
Imo, the game is the exact length it's supposed to be. One of the tropes of the chthulu mythos is that we don't necessarily understand the Gods, who or what they are, or what their purpose is. There is abject horror in the mystery surrounding the story. Humans are only a small part of the grander scheme of things, the knowledge itself can drive one mad....the lack of conclusion ties perfectly with the theme.
Also, I think they wanted to set up a second part, but sadly failed. I don't mind it.

Finally I got to understand the story as a whole too!
Too sad that the third season (possibly Cuzco, Peru, as it was the third Ley-cross mentioned back in season one besides New England and Stonehenge) never happened.

But still, since this is a Cthulhu mythos based universe, I think ye should also read novels and stories of HP Lovecraft.
I loved playing this game but sucked at figuring out some of the puzzles as a kid 😅 still love the soundtrack

1:01:22 What is weird about this is that on Ophelia's temporal dream, she could see the Baroness as an old woman. But that isnt possible because we know she dies when she betrays the team and awakens the beast. So then I wonder if there was supposed to be an alternate ending where she lives somehow
read the pre-game story texts. Prescott mentioned that whatever Ophelia saw in her dreams are not certain yet. The future is not as certain and fixed as the past. The future she saw in the dream is just one of the many possibilities.
This is also how Gregor figure out how to defeat the demon, by changing their course of action to get different results
That’s a good point but wasn’t it in story that this Baroness is actually a lot older than she appears. She was only able to look young because she harnessed the evil power

I was looking for this game for more than 10 years, thank goodnes the only thing I remember (the stonehenge scene) helped me find it. I found it writing "the flash game in which you see stonehenge" no joke...

I always found it hardly unbelievable Olivia would clib that ladder in the theater with that much of an impractical dress. One misstep and she would have been death

Warner Bros. Flash games were my childhood.
I plaued this as a child and had forgotten this game's name, finally I found it! I also played a game very similat to this, can't remember the name either. You were a young woman with short dark hair, in the first game you explored a house, found a secret room behind a painting, there was a machine which you turned on and had to escape into sewers. The 2nd game continues from the sewers, at first you only get light by burning matches, then you turn on electricity etc.... Does anyone recognize this? Please tell me the name if you do!

1:02:38 Can anyone explain this puzzle? I remember as a kid never understanding this and still not. I see that the bottom spinny bit kind of looks like the bird and even has the eyes... but why the top bit (the roman numeral II)?
Can someone also explain the puzzle at 1:12:37? It seems that the positions of them correspond to the first of two roman numerals on Stonehenge when cross referenced with the text on the ground.. but then what is the point of the second roman numeral?

The glass window tells which symbols you need. They are astronomical symbols (libra, gemini, virgo, pisces, leo, etc).

Maybe it’s a good thing that there isn’t a third season in Peru, cause everytime this trio tries to “stop” something from happening they ended up helping the Cardinal to succeed

Can someone tell me how the 2nd puzzle was solved?
Which one? Episode 2?
If it's episode 2, you just simply had to match the weird symbols to the correct compass directions (North, East, South, West) according to the drawing on the tapestry.
@@_Just_Another_Guy so, i'm kinda confused at this 24:17 , this is the door with (N-North) direction right? but the symbol on the drawing at North direction cleary is a K-like one, not the X one... And to be clear, we must turn the correct symbol to the upper part of the wheel, right? Still not really understand the rule at this puzzle....
