Man, I played the living crap out of this game back then. After a long day at school, it was good to play as a WW1 Commander and just watch the chaos unfold.

Even tho this was a 3rd person strategy game it’s down right horrifying to hear and see artillery blowing your men as well as the enemies to shreds. I loved every bit of it and the stalemates helped envision how much life was lost for so little ground.
@@ProSwfI know there was a sequel to this game, called Warfare 1944 I think. Same premise, but it was D-Day themed. There were also some good WWI Flash dogfighting games, but I can't remember the name of them. Maybe Camel Ace or something like that? I remember there were 2 and both were really solid games.

@@ProSwf Yes! I recommend Art of War 2, Mud and Blood, and the Endless War series. They're all a bit juvenile compared to Warfare 1917, Endless War 7 is pretty impressive though :)

Część mojej rodziny pochodzi z terenów Polski, która przed 1918 rokiem wchodziła w skład Cesarstwa Niemiec i chociaż kompletnie nie wiem czy ktoś z nich był na Wielkiej Wojnie i to na froncie zachodnim. No i dlatego że było trudniej.
Might've been a right misclick, but yeah there's a few times I gotta swap quality because too much going on at once with these games will make flash player lag you badly.

He still had chlorine in his lungs and he went on an epic charge.
The one I hated more the tanks and Shells raining down was the mines.😢 lost some many soldiers.

I like how the Germans just forgot about the existance of the British officer and just dumping ammo and grenades at the Mark IV tank.

Hearing heavy artillery sound off before coming down was always chilling.

Man i played this game for the first time in YEARS today. Forgot how brutal hardest difficulty with lots of mines on skirmish mode was
when enemy crosses the same path then no mine explosion, but when my troops cross the same path💣
This game was the pioneer to World War One games in the future like Battlefield 1, Verdun, Tannenberg etc.
