Just adding that they can also spawn high enough so you see them fround outside where a structure terraformed the floor to be flat. But it is a pretty rare thing to what i saw yet.
The best way to find dragons is, simply go around the world and reload all chunks from time to time. Dragon dens are fairly big, and the moment you see ash or cold underground from reloading chunks, then you’ve found yourself one. I found what I believe is a rare find, there was 2 connected tier 5 dragon dens right next to each other in one of those castle villages, they were literally connected though they were only one dragon. I’m not sure what happened to the other or if there even was a other, but yeah long story short I tried to kill it without any type of mount and just a bow, dude broke through the cave and flew away, if seen him from time to time flying around destroying everything , but once again he always escapes since tier 5 dragons seems to not stick to one area like regular dragons once you’ve waken them.

So i mined emeralds.. more more.. then broke the top and saw what was in there... Then i realised under my village, there were 3 dragon dens one next to each others.
I've seen 2 dens merged with one another -which basically looked exactly like a pair of testicles- but finding 3 together and under your village has got to be extremely rare
Same I have found that, but mine was 4 dragon dens, it didnt even look like a dragon den, it just looks like a dug-out hole underground, 400 by 400 and 98 blocks high
tysm for this! I think there's a lightening dragon somewhere around my base because I keep finding amethyst every time I go mining. There was a roost near my base my friend took care of but I also noticed some diamond with some other ores in the water. I'll have to check it out now! I was digging for ages thinking it was right under my nose lol
How did you friend get rid of the roost nest? Also I think I have one lair close to my base and I don't want it destroying it since it's new. Can those dragon come to our base or they don't leave the lair ever?
@@intervalsofsanity they leave the lair! Your best bet is to turn breaking blocks off for mobs because if you don’t it will destroy pretty much everything
One time I was trying to find a roc and then I just hear a digging sort of sound and thought ehh ambience noises then out of nowhere a stage 5 dragon that scared the soul out of me when it appears below me
Oh right, it basically comes down to speed. If your mount is faster or if you're faster with a stone of the sea + depth strider you generally want to pick the faster one, flying mounts do give you the luxury of a "bird's eye view" though.
@@LordAngrim yes but also visibility near coast, underwater you have better visibility with the dragons eye. Sometimes it bugs out and then i press f5 and cisibility is the same as on land
Yeah, you need to rush it in melee during its "wake up phase" to prevent it from flying out of the den. Hope you didn't have anything too important in the area, they tend to stray quite far if you don't intercept them.
If looking for stage 5 dragons, you're probably looking for dragoneggs - so info on how to see if its a female or male dragon would be useful too. Otherwise, very nice!

So I tried making my own rlcraft and it doesn't work. Say I have to play 1.16 rlcraft, which sucks compared to the 1.12 mods, really sad. Do you have any idea why it wouldn't load like that. Your the only person I know who can figure it out!

I added it from mod options (in the menu) from there search for "first aid" (you can use the search bar on the left) -> Overlay -> overlayMode, select HEARTS -> displaymode, change it from 200 to -1 (so that it's always active and not just a flash when you take damage) It can be positioned in any of the 4 corners of the screen but I like keeping it on the bottom left even if it overlaps with the chat If you want a visual guide I explain it in this video ruclips.net/video/RYXaywVfjB8/видео.html
i made a half arsed axe to go mining for the precious ores to spawn the mobs to get more of the crystal axe so i can make the axe in the video - my go to method of mining is basically quarry - easier on torches - well yeah - i started digging down and theres a fucking dragon cave there....
Aww man i found several dens but i did it by reloading chunks which is kind of cheating and it still took a ALOT of time. These dragon caves are just different

Vapula crystal pickaxe is actually pretty interesting. For example you can destroy both spawner in battle towers if you mine one at the right angle

Pro Tip: Good way also is smimming with the stone of the sea near coastlines thats how i find one in just 5 minutes searching

another tip is to spam reload chunks so you can possibly see a dragon underground

Female and male dragons look the same. The cgance that they drop a dragon egg is 50%

Sadly now you need a stage 5 dragon head to make a dragons eye and in 2.9.2 you no longer can use black dragon head R.I.P.

XD there is easier method just dig under your base there is 100% chance you will find one out there
