ARTHUR RUBINSTEIN, piano
Filmed in 1953
My all-time favorite pianist. Such grace, power, delicacy, sensitivity, depth and joy, he is like a human embodiment of the water element expressed through music. Oh, my heart...
My all-time favorite pianist too. He brings a depth of interpretation and virtuosity unsurpassed to this day.
He owns the Mazurka No. 21 in C sharp minor, Op. 30, No. 4
RIP Maestros.
I don't know what's most impressive, his playing skills or the fact he seems to know every piece of F.Chopin's work absolutely perfectly
Wow nearly 70 years later we can be elated but the wonderful Rubenstein filling the room with virtuosity and nuanced delicacy. What a master of the piano & interpreter of Chopin. Joy.
Love his posture.
Nobility, and a fire within.
Rubinstein was so natural and unaffected at the keyboard, it's as if the piano were a natural extension of his physical being. This fascinating footage captures him at the very zenith of his illustrious career. If I may cherry pick, for me his playing of the Nocturne is simply magical and out of this world. As for the great Polonaise one can only say that Rubinstein truly owned this heroic work.
Horowitz is my all time favorite pianist. Rubinstein is definetly a close second. But the more I listen to Rubenstein the more pieces that I would prefer his over Horowitz. Like the nocturne that he plays in this video near the end is like…. whattt?! the prettiest piece ever.
His legacy; passed, precent , future generations eternally grateful on the late mastro, professor., Mr.Arthur Rubinstein. , where ever you are ,happybirthday. G-d blesses his family and friends.
Es un gran Maestro
Piękno muzyki Fryderyka Chopina to fenomen graniczący z cudem.
Fantastic video! Thanks so much for sharing.
Perfect
Synchronisation is a lot better in the speaking parts than hands on keys!
mazurka:)❤️
Simply amazin.
So is your English.....😅
Harika...

....Good lesteners...!
He looks like teller from pen and teller
lol yeah, i saw them on The Grand Tour
And you sound like a prick from Prick & Prick.....
No, Teller looks like him*
Have never given any thought to Rubinstein, but I gotta admit ...
I will challenge rubinstein with my new fingerings. Use 6 pieces to start.
Nocturne 4, Moonlight sonata, op 740/1,12,49,50.
Sick technique
terrifyingly good technique; it scares me
His right ring finger is a bit sloppy. Other than that he is quite exceptional
he is one of the greatest pianist ever. He sings with his fingers, see the strength and nobility in his playing. Nothing can beat that.
@@MacphersonAghah yea. But really focus on the ring finger of the right hand. Sloppy
@@aaronm.3581 give us a timestamp to where is shows his "sloppy" ring finger
