    Hi - these foil pendants turned out so nice. This is the first time I have seen one of your videos, I want to compliment you on your presentation, you explained all the steps you took clearly and I especially liked that you talked about difficulties that you had and asked for suggestions for help. Very nice and easy to follow. Two 👍 's up. I will be looking forward to watching more videos from you.

    I use Deco duo gel and it works well with Deco foils.

    Thanks for sharing this interesting idea, but yes it seems to take quite awhile to rub enough to create the heat needed, so maybe try a heat gun, not using it to close to the foil this might require taping down the edges of the foil with masking tape or maybe try putting parchment paper on top of the foil & again use a heat gun or maybe use an iron, if you try this, let me know how it works. I also like your idea of cutting the clay piece & adding that other shiny clay & adding those shiny fingernail pcs were great too.

      Thank you so much! I used the Tack It because I wanted to create the design with the silk screens and that seemed like something that would work but i think the head gun would be great if you use random piece of foil on clay. I will definitely try it but will really have to control myself with the heat gun as I tend to have a heavy hand with it and have burned clay in the past. Iron might work as well. Will let you know if I try it or you might see my failure or success with those techniques in my future videos. Thank you for the great idea!

    I would love to try this! Your pendants are beautiful! I don't have the Tack It glue but I do have what's called Aleene's Tacky Glue which is in a gold and purple bottle. I wonder if that will work? Thanks for posting this technique!

    • @karenthomas2302
      @karenthomas2302 2 года назад +1

      Alene’s won’t work it dries up and don’t leave a take you need for these transfers, at your craft stores they have a glue pen that is called ZIG memory system 2 way glue, works great for these foils. The glue works like double sided tape only in glue form. lol good luck.

      Thank you so much Lucinda for watching! I hope you try it and let me know if the glue works. Tack It Over And Over stays tacky even when it dries so it worked great for me. Keep me posted if you decide to try a different glue with this technique! Hugs!

    WOW 🤩 Niesamowity efekt 😍Przepiękne ❤ Super pomysł z wykończeniem otworu ☺Już się nie mogę doczekać końca remontu, żeby wreszcie usiąść i zacząć przygodę z glinką 😊Asiu a napisz mi jaką masz lampę do żywicy UV? Bo ja nan takiego zwyklaka 9W (dostałam od kolezanki kiedyś ) ale sądzę, że będzie za slaba 🙂 Buziaki z Poznania 😘

      Ja nie uzywam UV resin (ktora zreszta wyglada swietnie bo nie trzeba czekac az projekt wyschnie). Uzywam zywice ktora ma dwie czesci ktore sie miesza. Niestety jak wiesz, trzeba wtedy czekac przynajmniej 24 godziny aby wszystko wyschnelo. Poniewaz ja uzywam ta dwu czesciowa zywice do innych projektow (mozesz ze zobaczy na At Home With Joanna) to nie chcialam wydawac pieniedzy na lampe UV. Sciskam!

    Hi and thank you for this idea! I have never thought to use tacit to glue the foils. Did you cut the silkscreens because I have those but they are bigger sheets? Thank you again!

      Thank you so much, Barbara! Yes, I did cut them because I found it easier to use. Hugs!

    When she says "silkscreen" she means STENCIL

      Hi Adrienne! When I refer to silk screens, I actually mean silk screens which I am using from Sculpey. They are really great! You could use stencil for this technique as well as I have done in the past.

      Silkscreens ARE one form of stencils. Your know-it-all is showing.
