To get less airbubbles if you put your Clay down then get your foil and instead of getting the foil off the paper, keep it on the paper place the foil on the clay and smooth the paper down, this will get the foil to stick to the clay, then pull the paper away. I hope that makes sense. X
Love the video.. I find it way easier to just remove the top sheet from the foil, then use the second sheet as an applicator, almost never tears or wrinkles.
Yes! the foil is super thin so it stays stuck really well. If the earrings are just for me I don't tend to add anything - but if it's a pair i'm selling I will add resin or a sealer on top, just to protect it incase it gets scratched.
Does the foil ones cut with cookie cutters or do you need more knife to cut it? You would seal after you bake them, right? It does not harden with the clay though, im guessing?
I just use my cutters like normal. Occasionally- depending on how full the foil is- it can crack slightly around the edge- but nothing sanding can’t fix. I usually seal- I talk about that towards the end of the tutorial (there’s a couple of options)
Yes! The clay would stick to the foil. The only time I run into issues is if both pieces have foil on them- as the foil won’t stick to the foil without liquid clay or something to adhere. But you could definitely do clay-foil-clay.
Unfortunately Mod Podge can turn sticky on the clay and not dry properly. I usually prefer to use the clay brand specific gloss such as Cernit, Fimo or Sculpey.
@@TheLittleCraftHouse thank you, I am new to this and I find your videos very interesting. Your art is so beautiful. I will buy some glaze from Sculpey.

For the blue silk screen one one you bake it will the foil stay on the clay? Or do you need to add resin on top?

Can I ask if you use foil on clay can you add small bits of clay on top of the foil or won't it stick to the foil? Thanks

Lovely 🎉 thank you so much ❤
You’re welcome 😊
hi there what is the name of the foil you have used
It’s imitation gold leaf foil - but in different colours- not just gold 😆
Can you seal with Mod Podge ?
