Today is 9/15/2024 and I am just getting around to check this tutorial out on my list of "watch later" and I can truthfully say I am sorry that i didn't watch this sooner. Joanna, these are so beautiful and so very natural. These to me are a very close rendition of an agate that has been tumbled to a fine polish. I simply love these and they are next on my list to recreate for my wifes jewelry making.
@@joannascorner4478 yes yes and yes - can't wait to get set up - this is definitely going to be my first project - may I inquire what UV light you use - and does the amazing... require a UV light
The one on the left in the thumbnail looks like an Agate and the other two look like Galaxy Stones. Gorgeous. Oh yeah…and I can’t wait to do this tutorial. Thank you for sharing your skill. ❤
Greetings from Tucson, Arizona USA. I just got a collection of metallic alcohol inks in yesterday's post and this video was right on time. I hope what I make is half as gorgeous as yours.
Let me know how you look like them! You better close the bottles tight otherwise alcohol will evaporate! You will love using them especially if you add resin to the top of your project. The shine is amazing!
Ha,ha,ha! I know, it's terrible when you don't remember what you did just a few days before! Ha ha! Thank you, thank you, thank you, Darla! And you are amazing for watching and chiming in! Have a beautiful day, my friend!
Sandra, thank you so so much!! You have got to try it! You will not believe you can do it until you actually try it. Trust me. I am just a regular crafter so if I can do it, anyone can!! Let me know if you gave it a try and how they came out. Have a beautiful day, my friend!
Thank you so much, Gaby! Those inks are so, so beautiful. I tried them on cardstock as well as a background for a card and they were spectacular!! Have a beautiful day, my friend!
Your pendants are gorgeous. I especially love the wavy lines in the scrap clay. They don't look scrap at all hahaha. By the way, what do you use to resin and how do you cure it? Thanks in advance
Thank you so much Roz! I so greatly appreciate it. I do use resin and I really love it! It makes the colors pop like crazy. I have a video on how I apply resin and it might be helpful if you have never worked with resin. I use two part resin and I cure it covered from dust for at lest 24 hours. It is way worth it! Results are gorgeous!
Hello there! Thank you so much for watching the video! I think the the outcome will depend on the clay that you are using. I am using sculpey. Another thing that could make a difference is thickness of the clay. I would play around with small amounts of clay to try things out until you get the desired outcome. Let me know if that helps!
Thank you for correcting me! I appreciate that! If you watch my videos you realize that I mispronounce things all the time which is absolutely terrible! Have a beautiful day!

This is going to be my first return to loving polymer clay - love the "realness" you are an artist showing us as we too can be artists
Oh ,so great that you are catching the polymer clay bug again! Doesn't it feel great?!

Thank you so much, Gaby! Those inks are so, so beautiful. I tried them on cardstock as well as a background for a card and they were spectacular!! Have a beautiful day, my friend!
Very nice! If you use a bit of liquid polymer clay on each side where the metal leaf is it will stick together much better.
That's a good idea! I have seen others use it and I can see how this would help! Thank you so much Farren!
@@joannascorner4478 you are most welcome, glad I could help.
I was wondering about that.
Very beautiful 😍
Thank you , Kelly!
Beautiful!❤
Thank you so much, my friend!
Love!
Thank you so much, Terri!
Did u not do like a traditional mokume gane and use a cutter or something to make cuts in the stack then smush it back together?
I love mokume gane but sometimes it is fun to try something different. Thank you so much my friend, for watching!

I love the result you got ive followed this tutorial, however mine have not come out like yours at all.. I was wondering if you had any tips?

Thank You for your video! When I use the alcohol ink on my polymer clay, can I bake it in my cooking oven?
Yes, absolutely! That's where I bake all my pendants! Thank you, Brenda, for watching!
This technique makes beautiful pendants, but Mokume Gane is pronounced Moe-koo-may Gah-nay...
Thank you for correcting me! I appreciate that! If you watch my videos you realize that I mispronounce things all the time which is absolutely terrible! Have a beautiful day!
